Fish exude a growth limiting hormone. When confined to a larger body of water, that hormone is more diluted and less inhibiting. In a smaller area, it's much more concentrated and much more effective. That's why fish in tanks don't grow as big as fish in ponds and other bodies of water. Also why you should never release invasive species like goldfish into the wild.
I’m surprised that they could sail the Joyful Damnation to the Neutral Milk Hotel because I’d always heard that you have to take the aeroplane over the sea.
God this hilarious session got so intense! I am just going to throw out my theory prediction now, the Dragondor are secretly working with Liliana to create the Dragonborn clones to strengthen the ranks of the order, much like the clones in Star Wars were being made secretly for the empire, and they need specifically golden dragon organs to perfect the cloning process. Side theory Eggbert somehow found out bits of this conspiracy and it lead to his banishment before he discovered everything and that's why he doesn't really know about it but is somehow still involved as far as he was harvested and used as the basis for the clones. ok that one might be a stretch but I still think the Dragondor are more of a cult then an order and are trying something sinister with these eggs.

And Finally -- The ethereal music playing throughout most of this adventure made me want to play Spyro the Dragon so so badly. Love you all, thanks for reading.
If only they had a way to make sure the Dragon D'Or's order had good intentions... Like a square, or something, where the people inside wouldn't be able to lie. A square of truth that someone (Egbert) could cast. If only...
Small correction: Dob would not be able to walk on the ocean floor after the owl pellets, unless he can do that anyway. The transformation preserves his shape, he get's twice as large in every direction, so that his proportions stay the same. His weight is determined by his volume though, not his height. His height is times 2, but so is his width and his depth, so his volume is his initial volume times two (for height), times two again (for width) and times two again (for depth) which comes out to 8 times the volume. So while he does get heavier, he does so proportionate to his volume and thus does not get any more dense. Her would be able to swim as normal.

Continuing the trend of other oxventurers honing in on Merilwen's things, Corazon adopted the griffin that I wouldn't be surprised was meant to fulfil what Merilwen wrote in the book about getting a new animal friend
'We have a chance to start a new legacy' A legacy of dragons?
I love hungover Dob so much. I've felt his energy on a spiritual level. *"NEUTRAL!"* I'm gonna use that throughout my daily life
Another brilliant episode! Keep up the great work :)
Corazon being a morning person just makes sense to me
So. New evil Merilwyn just dropped. The Pact of Vultures Druid. Creepy wildshapes, nasty disposition, slaughters those who surrender.
Gawd damn. This is better than reading a good book.
I feel like however many episodes Johnny has planned for this season, they might want to double it...
This is honestly more engaging than any of the series I've been watching. Cannot wait for the next episode! Will we ever learn WHAT EGBERT DID!? Also I low key want Prudence to keep the arctic sea-vulture as a pet/cleanup crew for her horrible murders.
You've gotta fight,
For your right
To parleeyyy!
I spent the last bit of October finally watching all the Oxventure episodes, which I hadn't done before because I wasn't sure I'd be interested. I'm now extremely interested and this is the first ep I've watched the day it aired (couldn't watch the premier when it happened because of a few reasons). I'm very curious about what exactly Egbert said/did/found out to make him leave the order, and I love how intrigued Corazon was during the conversation Egbert and Shattershield had. I most definitely swore at the revelation of one of Lilianna's cloned Egberts (undoubtedly many more than one is there, I reckon) having found them. Percy Jr is great and I adore the sea vulture. I also really love Dob's Oxventure pun and just how long the build up for it was. Can't wait for the next ep!
lol congrats on watching them all up to this point, it sure has been a hell of a ride, I think I am going to go back and re watch them all for the 5th or so time myself :D
@@blakearmentrout7717 It was fantastic. One of my favorite moments is still the whole orphans bit with the skeletons. Also Dob completely forgetting about Merilwen on the giant beetle and everyone's realization of him forgetting that. I'm also impressed that no one has actually died yet given the scrapes they've gotten into.
Omg I love all of the Neutral Milk Hotel references. Brava, Johnny!
I hope after this adventure is finished, they'll publish it for others to run
Ah the view of hungover dob dieing quietly to the sound of clunky dragon born paladin boots. Lol
That crash zoom was very cinematic 😎
That interaction between Dob and the barman was gold! XD
I mean, this whole episode was gold, but that bit really got me. That and the vulture.
Poor Merilwen. Every animal she's ever spoken to has been kind of rude at best, and the one time they get a cute and fluffy animal it imprints on Corazon of all people xD
The intensity of Egbert totally took me by surprise. Well done, Mike!

To be fair, Seal Gaiman has a canonical voice.
Well, *_had._*
There have been moments in this video and the last one that have made me laugh harder than I think I ever have at any of the Oxventures.
Also the canon, official reason for the name 'oxventure' is that it is a front for Dob to ... do business with oxen.
I hope Merilwen makes every bird in the harbor crap in corazons cabin
56:50 Corazon has a sense that his vessel is being interfered with, or rather he has a 'Ship's Sense'. I'll see myself out.
Despite the usual goofiness of Eggbert, Mike is such a great roleplayer with him - I was hooked on the one-to-one between him and Shatter Shield/Johnny
40:30 *insert the Daniel Kaluuya meme from Get Out*
47:45 Corazon is ready for the kind of birds you can see.
at 56:37 when andy tried to use the flashback mechanic I nearly lost my crap. I've been waiting for that to happen for so long in Johnnys game.
The owner of the milk hotel should have been named Steve Dairy. He could have been in a band called "Churney".
Great episode , but damn RUclips was recalling pushing the ads , it felt like every 5 minutes :(
I am living for those cliffhangers 😂
Also serious Egbert was unexpected but great!
Corazón's face around 49:00 when Prudence decides to 'help' her new 'friend.' That was priceless. 😆
Seriously contemplating his life choices.
"Dobelganger" deserves a standing ovation and a heartfelt Booooo! 😂👏🏼
Corrizon holds the griffin, my brain expects him to kick it.
I've gotta say, a griffon is a much more badass pet for a pirate than a parrot.
Today bought puzzle just bc it had Mont Sant Michel which is now forever Mistmire in my mind

Like a substitute teacher in the last class of a Friday afternoon. Johnny accepts defeat as the group somehow manages to derail the very, VERY simple task set for them.... 'sending a message'
Anyone else think of The Wire from the Doctor Who episode "The Idiot's Lantern" when the lobsters were chanting "Hungry" over and over?
