It was great to be in the room for this. I'm glad you got funded and can't wait for the continuing exploration of the world of Reliquiae.
Something I noticed in these episodes is Ben Starr is constantly taking notes throughout and getting really into it. Which is awesome, especially for someone who has never played these kinds of games before (well, iirc from what I read about this show beforehand). I also like how he took charge just before the crew had to get in line, and just in general I have been loving all of the very natural feeling interactions between the party. This is a very promising show and I can’t wait to see more of it

I loved the chaos of the ballroom, like everything fell apart so well it felt planned?🤣
Like dolly using her charm spills a drink to start a conversation with someone close to the target (makes sense), but then "I" misunderstanding her planned charisma tries it himself on a high official by complete accident blowing his cover and making a scene, Radion trying to be cunning by dressing as a waiter then gets caught up cleaning up I's mess while Kel who is drunk on lemon wine is mistaken for I's father and can't follow Dolly anymore trying to salvage his mess while Endellion has to come back in to rally everyone back together since no one had an actual plan (with Kel drunk and I unable to speak due to the drink) now with Dolly in dangerous waters and Radion missing because he's now a waiter🤣 which confuses everyone and then I becomes mesmerised by Radions musk to not lose him again.
Like it just felt like a really fun sketch that had me belly laughing even though it was improv.
This video was so much fun to watch. Can't wait to see what you guys have lined up next, good luck with the rest of the Kickstarter. I hope you guys reach your target.

It's quite obvious that the two girls are far more experienced than the men. The girls seems to move the adventure forward and get things done. The men while being inexperienced seems to go for comedic relief.

A great follow on from session 0. Getting an understanding of everyone’s play styles for this and I can’t wait for more chaos down the line.

It's lovely getting to know everyone. Session 0 got me fond of I mainly and of Raidion a bit as well but now I'm getting into the rest. Dolly for being Princess Charming of the night, Andelion for those two Nat 1s and her motherly instinct to make sure no one was dead anddd Kelsus.. That's probably spelt wrong... Because of his deadpan answers that remind me of Drax a bit 😁
Good sesh. Shame about the ambient noise, that's live shows for you.

If their kickstarter doesn't fund, I really just don't know what people are doing with their life, really. These folks are so much fun to watch and listen to. Creative in ways that only new players are, and the couple of experienced players are so good with RP that it is just the perfect chefs kiss! Great show!!!!! Thank you for sharing with us!

I love the chaos in this episode!
The visuals of Dolly being suave, I chucking drinks at everyone, a Dragonborn boogying, radion trying to stealth and then Endellion being the protective mam of the group. What a fun episode.
Also loved the intro music and artwork- keep up the great work and once again good luck with the kickstarter.

The only feedback I'd put out there is for the DM to tone down asking for so many skill checks that probably seem like won't change anything whether they would pass or fail. It's okay to just give free info to the players without skillchecks needed.
Agreed. They’re all great but it’s ok to describe scenes without players needing a perception role as an example. They are new to the game tho so I’m sure they’ll find a rhythm as they go. I think the players defo need to spend a little time reading through spells and abilities and going through them with the dm understanding them. But again they’ll get there I have a player who’s been playing the same character for 2 years and still can’t remember her abilities

This was brilliant, a lovely introduction to the players and characters. Love how Into it everyone got. Apologies for asking so long after the game but what level is everyone? Hollie's plus6 strength has me so curious

Some music would be nice. And those noises in the back are kinda annoying.. But, i like u! Hope you will hawe succes! :))
This is a fun watch but it feels very disconnected. Presenting it as a panel, where all participants are looking at an audience and have to turn their heads to look at the DM feels.... wrong? disingenuous?.....I'm not sure what word to use here, but it kind of breaks the immersion for me. I watch all of the VLDL DnD videos and they have (as far as I can remember) never used a panel style setup and it feels like everyone is always engaged in the story. I plan on continuing this series and am willing to see how it goes but right now I am concerned with the separation between the story side and the monetary side.... I'm hoping they can keep me immersed without constantly asking/pushing for some type of subscription, patreon...etc....
Ah, this particular set--up was for a live stage show that we did prior to launch, and the layout was predetermined for us. Though, it did mean as players we were facing the audience, which was nice for those in the room. However, Episode 1 is now live so might be worth checking that out as the set-up you see there is what we will be using going forward ^_^ - Hollie
For what it's worth, Natural 6 is hardly the first to do live shows with this setup of everyone in a line facing the audience, rather than sitting in a circle. Even the "high profile" groups like CR, TAZ, D20, etc tend to set it up that way for their live panel shows, so the audience can see all of them. It's fine if it's not your vibe ofc, but IMO it's not a fault on Natural 6's part for doing the show that way!
