Behold, this is RPGs when you can pay to train skills. Check me out for funny Skyrim vids mwah. Приколы
Happy New Year! 🥳 I love you guys. Your comments are always so funny and positive, and I’m fortunate to have you here. Thank you /hug. Lots more gaming skits on the way 👏
I lost my follower , I told him to stand "there" and then I forgot where "there" is....
Damn.... Where and there are strange looking words
@Tommy2 Buttz You mean...you don't do that on purpose just to get rid of their annoying asses? 😂
/hug, +1 pickpocket
We love you Grae 😊
Seriously though....... he's carrying 15 tons of shit for me I'll never use
When you're Level 95 in the most useless skill in the game and you have to choose between the grind or giving away a handful of your 13877345 gold fortune.
Only 13877345 gold? You call THAT a fortune? Ha. 😜
Well, rise and grind I guess.
It's like 5k by the end
but you cant level your skills past 90 with a trainer...?
🤓
I will not part with a single coin, not a piece of it
what it's like paying for school but skipping classes lmfao
You just described the life of Harvard kids with rich parents.
Except you never actually level up any skills haha
@@Merlincat007 me in PC class they spent 4 months on basic modeling it got so bored I just watched J-Rock music videos then another PC class was using Excel Sheets an I just played Raze an Strick Force Hero's instead
@@Merlincat007 actually that's not really true, look at the previous queen, she got some skills. Just being in the shoes of someone important is enough to gain passive experience ontop of lessons taught from parents to young. Especially when your job is to parasitize off of tax money.
I would readily watch a feature length Skyrim film with Graenolf playing every character.
I completely agree, and I would gladly help to fund it. 😆
Then again, I feel like a feature-length film based on any game would be amazing as long as Graenolf was playing every character. I mean, can you imagine how ridiculously amazing something like South Park: The Stick of Truth would be if every character was Graenolf? 😂
@@Morne_ What about the Fractured butt...I mean Fractured, but Whole
And also with Cor Canish, he is also incredible
Get LaFave Bros on it too, they've worked with Wes Johnson himself, so maybe they can bring him in as well. It would be a legendary collab
Yes
"I've been wearing clothes my whole life, i think i got the hang of it" LMAO this is too real. armour skills in videogames are such a weird concept
😄😄
To be fair, have you tried wearing a full set of armor before? Depending on the material it can weigh you down quite a bit so you have to train your body to handle it
Not only maintaining as much of one’s strength, maneuverability, and endurance while wearing armor as one can, but also perhaps even the act of simply putting it on correctly and efficiently, with all those pieces and straps and such, would require some level of education and practice; wouldn’t it?
@@ninjagamer1359 And taking a shit in armor, that requires at least 75/100.
@@vladyslavkorenyak872 Lol
Pov: You enroll in Hustlers University
I also like the strange thing in Skyrim where if someone is your companion but also a trainer, you can pay them to train you and then just ask for the money back and they are cool with it.
Never forget though that getting pickpocket training makes taking your money back from them easier, which also levels up your pickpocketing naturally. Which also lets you level up so you can reset the training cap, rinse and repeat... and it just works.
Ey... Faendal my man, how about some training, now let's trade. Say, you don't need this here house key anymore do you?
@@insaincaldo free house and storage until you feel like buying a better house
@@insaincaldo literally me
@@zweihander00 Usually I RP, only really exploited it once and that was a character who used him, all the way to a meeting with Boethiah.
I’ve given enough money to the beggar in windhelm that she could buy a house and at this point I’m convinced she just loves the cold
Nice, both cold and gold work
What if she uses that money to buy food and clothes for the little orphan girl who sells flowers in order to get by?
And Skooma. She's got that raspy voice.
@@jonquilgemstone impossible, I adopted her
"I think I'm pretty good at wearing clothes."
"Well, you could pay me and I could get you better at NOT wearing clothes ;^)"
is the direction i thought this was going
SIR
a hot take if there ever was one
"I feel like you have this feeling that you need to practice to better at something and that's just not true. You can just give me money."
Corruption moment
This might just be the bong hit talking, but do you think the trainer's speech leveled up after that? He DID successfully convince him to give more money for something he was skeptical about. 😂
@@Morne_ Plot Twist; He was also a speech trainer that doesn't train people above speechcraft level 90 because he doesn't want people to outmatch him in speechcraft
@@JargonMadjin That's fuckin gold. 😂
Sounds like a scam ngl.
I really thought he was going for the obvious and steal his money back after getting to level 100 of pickpocketing, but he subverted my expectations in a good way, loved the video.
The clothes wearing skill makes total sense... There's been at least a couple times i've walked around half the day with my shirt, socks or underwear inside out... Clearly i need the training. Lol
This made me more laugh than i should but at the same time its so relatable xD When i have a migraine incoming and dont realise it (pain threshold went a bit up) and put my socks together I end up wearing blue and brown socks the next day because during an attack my cognitive functions are impaired. The worst is that I have no excuse for wearing one blue and one brown sock. i could have looked at them and bc I have no migraine would have realised the mistake but no. I didnt xD
to an extent. wearing armor is NOT like wearing clothes, it does take practice to move around normally and stuff, but not to the same extent of learning swordplay. if someone told you they dedicated their life to the art of _wearing_ platemail _really_ well: that is some weeb BS.
There's nothing like walking around a store for about twenty minutes before realizing that your hoodie is on backward. How did I make it there without realizing my hood was on the front instead of the back? I'll let you know when I figure it out, but there should have been PLENTY of opportunities for me to notice it. 😂
Do you also put your best sock on your favorite foot in an unmatched-socks event?
@@Graenolf Don't shame my sock practices, bro... My foot game is totes on fleek yo.
When you built up your RPG characters physical stats to godlike levels while neglecting magic skills and run into a boss immune to physical damage
and stunning them with magic doesn’t make them temporarily vulnerable to physical damage either 😂
Which is a weird idea in itself, because basically anything that makes you more resistant to damage will make you more resistant to all kinds of damage.
Unless magic is like, frying people's brains, it's all about the same.
Should have asked him to increase your stamina, just look at that running technique 2:37
He’s so good at light armor that he feels naked when he runs
Brilliant 😂😂😂
He uses the money on stamina potions
Well, just sneak behind him, quicksave and pickpocket the money back to get free pickpocket training.
The pickpocket trainer: *gj* 🥹
Tbh stealing your gold back from a thief teacher would be a good way to immerse people. It would be less of: “press this button to become more powerful.”
Kind of reminds me of an Oblivion video on a channel called Sorenova where she's meeting the Gray Fox, you know, grandmaster of the Thieves Guild, she steals food from the table in front of him and he yells out for the guards and she just sits there baffled
@@JargonMadjinEyyy Sorenovas videos are great, love her shitpost sense of humour
- Pay 3500 gold for pickpocketing skill-ups
- Pickpocket the pickpocketing trainer
- They only have 46 gold
Tell me you play skyrim without telling me you play skyrim:
lmao
Tell me you haven't played a lot of rpgs without telling me you haven't played a lot of rpgs:
@@nivolord I have played a ton of jrpgs thank you very much!
I lost it at "I refuse to take any more of your money." My abs hurt now.
Every trainer is basically like Brynjolf selling the Falmerblood Elixir.
💀💀
To be fair the training actually does something, the Falmerblood Elixir restores 1 point of health, making it completely useless albeit hilarious
I have had this exact thought every single time I've paid a "trainer" in Oblivion and Skyrim. "I give you gold, and I'm supposed to believe that I'm just suddenly and miraculously better at lockpicking/sneaking around/casting destruction spells? Really??" 😂
Maybe I would have been a bit more okay with the trainer function if they added something like a short, skippable cutscene showing your character training. At least then it wouldn't have been such a "wham, bam, thank you ma'am...now get the fuck out" kind of thing. I don't know. Just my take on the function.
well in morrowind (I don't remember much from training in skyrim or oblivion) time would skip which would imply you being taught the lesson
@Juicy Boy Club Ah. I never used trainers in Morrowind, so I was unaware of that being a thing. 😂
@@Morne_ Duuuude, you been sleeping on the Morrowind skill trainers? I honestly never do a playthrough without them, they are busted af lmao. There's no cap to how many times you can do it so long as you got the gold to pay for it, and eventually gold just stops being a concern at all. Easy way to make those skill requirements for guild promotions.
@Juliana McMahan Not so much sleeping on(if I actually understand the meaning of that) as making the decision to not use them. The friend who introduced me to TES told me that trainers almost break the game and make it too easy. I'm not into that as it would more than likely ruin the game for me, so I decided early on that I wouldn't use them.
@@Morne_ I wouldn't go that far. They can be abused if you are so inclined after you reach a certain threshold of wealth, but you don't *have* to use them like that if you don't want to. They're specifically very useful for getting a really low skill up to the point where it's viable to train it yourself.
I'd say the same kind of logic applies to the alchemy skill. You can just completely break the game with alchemy if you are so inclined, but I wouldn't avoid alchemy because of that. I'd just make a note to not cheese the game with it.
But I admire your commitment to that kind of play style! Self imposed limitations can be a lot of fun in games like this.
Happy New Year everyone
TES trainers: instant small transaction for a small skill boost.
Trainers in Piranha Bytes games: "alright class now we'll be learning how to bend one knee at a time to walk softly and how not to grab our weapon by the blade..."
I totally expected it to be the guy scamming him as a lesson in “pickpocketing”
I always love the tension between his other selves
*levels up*
"oh wait, come back, you can give me more money now"
Yup 😄
This is when you knock over the NPC with Fus Ro Da and pickpocket your money back before they stand back up and catch you.
Not me hitting them with the paralysis right after
Henry and Miller Peshek on their way to the back of the mill :
I was sure he was going to train in pickpocketing and then steal his money back.
I'd like to compliment the hill on which you stood. It was rather green.
Why thank you sir. It’s hard to find areas like this in LA where other people *arent*, so this was good
Train Pickpocket high enough, and soon you'll be the only person in the game who IS still wearing clothes.
literally just skyrim
And Elex and Gothic
@@kristen5149 Gothic makes a point of either dropping some flavor text or actual strategy tips when you train so I'd give it a pass.
You can pick my pocket anytime
I'll never let it die
Ill never let it die
I'll never let it die
Bro got consensually pickpocketed
The best pickpocket would be one that could do so without putting a hand in your pocket
Clothes wearing skill. Made me check my zipper.
In the best kind of RPGs you can level your pickpocket to 100 and then steal back all the money you paid.
A few months ago, I remembered you existed and panicked; a lot of my favorite youtubers I watched before my life went to crap seem to be gone. But then huzzah! You still upload regularly! This is the stability I needed in my life 😅
Same here. Life went to crap. Stopped watching anything. Then graenolf is still here. Feels like things are better
So basically my every character in Morrowind logged into 1 video.
Well done.
I'd call that tunic "unarmoured" not light armour
dude graenolfs produciton value has goen up so muchh
the clothes part is like dining with your parents at age 30+. Mom, i've been eating for 30 years, i'm a professional at this point, you don't need to teach or monitor me".
2:37 Somebody needs to teach that guy how to *run!* =^[.]^=
Hey an irl speech teacher could go, "Alright, you give me 500 gold, I'll teach you to talk so well you could swindle just about anyone"
Lmao the end when he tells him to leave was when you train 5 times and can't train again until the next level
When the master of your skill is a hostile in Morrowind, so you enchant an item to give one trainer transcendent knowledge for one second at a time so they can teach me for an hour.
When I saw your black shirt guy with the hair and all that, I was like "oh, Graenolf is about to embark into another movie, but this time he is practicing as a roguish pirate?"... a few clicps later... okay okay MOST of the video went by, but then I noticed the gear was old mittens and such and I was like "Okay, so he is wearing the hell out of this outfit" - anyways hoping to see you in something and your skills getting recognized 🙌
He just needs to go up a character level and he can come back.
I could watch you “chit chat” with yourself all day long 😊
When your close to leveling up, so you find your nearest trainer, slam money into their face to get those 5 levels. Then, level up and repeat to have an easy start to the next level.
Then you quicksave pickpocket your money back. :)
I was expecting the ending to be you learning to pickpocket and then stealing all of your money back.
The hidden shop sells +1 oyfum
Just level up and come back. He'll let you pay for training again.
There's always that weird moment where they need to you to go kill ten rat kings before they'll agree to take your money and give you another five lessons
🐦 Moments that made me squawk like a spastic bird 🐦
“STAY THE HELL OUTTA MY POCKETS, THIEF! That is WILDLY inappropriate!”
“But if you gave me that money-you know what I’m saying?” And really the whole clothes-wearing exchange
And when he suddenly refuses to take any more money like NPCs for some reason do, with such disgust on his face
No practice, just go😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love the YEEEESSS BABY sm
I too have been wondering how to better wear my clothes
Then you are lucky, dear traveller! Over the years I have mastered the art of wearing clothes and I am willing to teach you for a modest payment of just 300 Gold! Are you interested?
[ACCEPT] "Alright, here's the money!" (-300 G, +10 Light Armor)
[PERSUASION] "Let's do it for half the price..." (-150 G, +10 Light Armor)
[LEAVE] "I can't afford that right now."
This reminds me, I have video games to go play!
Happy New Year🎉🎊🪅🎆🎈
You forgot the part where you sneak, put a potion of paralysis in their pocket, and take your money back after all that "educational training"
Pickpocket is fun in skyrim. You can potentially insta kill a briarheart
Should have maxed it out with him, then pickpocketed it back.
Happy new year everyone, make sure to get that money
Happy New Year, Graenolf
Looking forward towards your content here again this year
All teachers in Skyrim are pickpocket teachers technically 😉
bahah 😄
I'm amazed you still have that shirt from the Wrong Dialogue option video from 3 years ago
you remember 🥹
I want it to signify the player character
if i heard a little money sound and saw a +1 [subject name here] every time I payed for a class, I would never stop going to school.
I thought the whole video was just gonna be the person paying for pickpocketing training and then going behind the guy stealing it back for a loop of exp.
God, I love the black outfit!
‘Why are you complicating this?’
Graenolf asking the important questions.
This is really funny Graenolf. Keep doing what you're doing. lol
Thanks Mookie 🧙♂️
You make such a good point about specifically rogue/thief type skill trainers.
In Morrowind, you could level the skills to the trainers cap. It was broken.
"I feel like we are friends now"
"Same"
"Cool, so you don't mind if I take all that money back? Oh, and your sword. Private love letter too. I already read it, I just want to add it to my collection of other people's diaries."
This is literally just Oblivion lol
Wow. This was pretty incredible Graenolf. The roller coaster.
I thought he was gonna get his money back by pickpocketting the dude who taught him lol
I loved that, let's do that again! Nah man they never programmed more quests for me, my use is gone all my lines will just repeat forget about me
worst games are where you can't steal your money back, because it just vanishes
Graenolf has a beard now. And it's beautiful.
you say rpg by we know you just mean Skyrim 😂
To be fair. Bro looks super fly in that tunic.
I mean... if he was on queer eye... they would ask for his advice.
Graenolf the👏brilliant 👏actor👏that👏you👏are👏
This screams Skyrim
Well it’s hard to describe..
This is your best work lol😂
Chernobylite is the only game I've played where it really feels immersive and logical to learn skills.
You still need to spend "skill points" but you companions give you full blown lessons in teaching you the skill. Even when it is something artificial like "craft cost decreased by 20%" or "revolvers do 25% more damage" but still
Oblivion through and through
Thank you for training me in the bow, follower, now I just need to quickly “trade” you for all my money back
Faendal 😏?
That shirt is an INCREDIBLE FIT
The acting in 2:27 is worth an Oscar.
Reminded me of the Skyrim uploads days
brought a tear to my eye.
Finally a video that somewhat relates to Skyrim that isn't from like 6 years ago woohoo
This entirely relates to Skyrim
once you have found the master trainers, Creeper, and have the Tribunal expansion: you have already won Morrorwind.

Ahahahaha 😂🤣🤣
What a brilliant sketch! Well done, my sir. And happy new year!

OMG, why is this so accurate?
