It's a cool safe. But the weakness is the sidewalls can be cut open very easy but doors are sturdy.

thing is this safe sounds like its got more fire protection thickness that metal? how much metal is actually i nthe door and the walls? often they look thick but its all insulation

Did you make an installation video on the gun rack? The instructions are confusing.
Did you have to remove the handle to fit in the doorway and if so, how? I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on one of these but I’m worried I can’t fit it in the doorway if I can’t remove the handle.

if the house is on fire and the electric outlet in the safe sparks up with flames, wouldn't that be unsafe as well? Because the cord is lined into the safe from outside.

We can’t be that naive to believe that the pyramids were built with rolling logs and hoist systems. We can’t even build a small scale stone pyramid with our modern technology, but the ancients did it with logs and hoists, don’t you think we would of done it too?… come on.

@@SUNDAYGUNDAY I don't think that applies to LED lighting on Amazon or non gun parts. Johnathan at Tactical toolbox has a link that's like a porthole to all the affiliate links. With all the amazing guns and expensive safe I'm surprised you don't have an ESP & Mesa triple rectifier half stack or something more high end. I'm no one to speak on high end amps tho but my ESP KH2 is one bad ass guitar. I've got a lot of guitars and am trying to not do the same with firearms. Just a few real nice ones.
If you keep your holster in the safe why not keep the gun always loaded and in the holster. Just as safe in the holster in the safe as in your pants don't have to continue to unload and load.
Because at the time this video was filmed (about 2 years ago) every gun kept in this safe needed to be clear. Times have changed.

This was a well presented review. BUT, this safe has a 12 gauge box, which is really thin. A Porche 911 with really cheap tires will not perform any better than a Chevy Nova.

12 gage sheet sounds like a gimmick, not a true safe
Gage is a weird unit of measurement for the thickness of the sheet steel used. 12 Guage is about a thenth of an inch (.1 inches)

my whole town burned down and no gun safe survived. houses fires get up to 3000 degrees. and will last for hours if the fire isn't put out immediately just saying.

I'm sorry g but idk about any gun safe that "wouldn't survive". They don't just melt that would literally take like a day at least. The worst that's gonna gonna happen is you're gonna get holes in the metal, damaging something's inside or warped rods, making it extremely hard to open. However, they will still be relatively okay
@@keeganvanluven5978 There are videos of what happens to the contents of a safe from a fire. Everything in there was toast even though the time rating was not exceeded. If you take the highest rating and divide that by two, you might have a chance if those new numbers are not exceeded.
Sorry to hear about your town but what exactly are you measuring temperature in with house fires? Because they won't reach 2000°F much less 3000. Depending on the roof, it may stay under 1500°F.

So my question is if the key pad quits working how do u get in the safe I'm looking into a gun safe but I'm wondering is there another way in if the pad fails
On most safes, you can usually lift that keypad off the hooks and there is a keyhole/manual override behind it

Sports Afield has them and all someone has to do is drill a half inch hole thru it and it pops open.
Usually putting a fresh battery in it fixes it not working...if that doesn't work, they can send a new keypad which can open it....if you can hear the motor unlock it, reverse the handle to take the load off, then try....worst case scenario is a technician coming out and drilling a hole to trip the bar, then putting a plate over it.

Why do you unload and reload your gun everyday? Just leave it ready it’s in a safe. Just seems like a bunch of unnecessary steps and in a pinch if for some reason you had to get after it because your primary home defense gun went down or something else unforeseen happened you would have a loaded pistol as soon as your door was opened!
