Wheels look great! It does amaze me that tyre fitters don’t seem to realise that the yellow dot on the tyre indicates the heaviest point of the tyre and as such it should be directly opposite to the valve. It makes balancing easier and mean potentially less weights will need to be added.
These cars look so much better with a simple drop and some add ons. I think BMW from the factory knows that’s how they should look, but the stock variants look the way they do to get past regulations and ride height requirements and so on
Not gonna lie, the stock wheels looked better, way more aggressive and poised. Really love how the car is starting to look and take shape though. Maybe paint these black and they’ll look/suit better?
Agree. Tarmac color would’ve been the better choice for sure. And should’ve spec’d Michelin Pilot Cups over the Yokohama’s, that tire is trash. First time I’m hearing of someone actually taking off Michelins for a lesser performing tire🤷🏼♂️
It's interesting to see the difference in taste...seems like guys over the pond still really like their low profile tires and big wheels like these HREs. In the US at least where I am it seems the trend has been going back to a smaller wheel with more sidewall for a while now. Personally I think this car would look pretty mean with the factory front 19" wheels on all four corners (paired with a meatier tire out back to compensate). Cool to see different takes on it though. Car looks mean either way!
Hey jack, curious how does the stock comfort mode in the G87 compare to your G42 M240 in comfort. I’ve heard they feel similar and good for daily driving, but the G87 gets way more stiff in sport, / sport plus, can you let me know your thoughts?
Car looks great with the wheels. Kind of accentuates the body shape with the colour separation. How do you think think the new springs are going to operate with the adaptive suspension. Being lower will remove a small amount of shock absorber travel from the loaded position. State of our roads are a disgrace! Looking forward to collecting ours in a few weeks. Like the black but went for the grey to show of the carbon roof etc. Like your work👍👍

I'm curious though why everyone is so eager to swap out wheels....I do get the weight savings, but unless you're tracking the car and looking for tenths of a second changes, 20 lb odd pounds of weight saving makes no difference with a car that has 500 crank hp. Piggy back/tune will melt the weight even more. I guess I just like the factory wheels so its on me. I sent an email for product info and was wondering if you have the side trim avail. That vertical strip behind front wheel well with chrome piece?

Hi Gents, As You own both M240i and M2, I am looking to buy one of them. I have 2 question. Which one is better value for money in your opinion? If You could own only one, which one You would choose?
The prices are insane, the people that want a manual RWD 450 HP sportscars(that aren't 25 yr old boy scouts) will not find this car reasonable. I love the M2, love the S58 especially. At this price point, it makes no sense not to get a corvette, though. BMW not thinking clearly.

wheels and tires really seem to help the look of the M2. the wider stance really complements the more square shape of the car.
