- I woke up this morning like I have for the past week ... an empty shell of a human. I can't sleep. I can't feel. And I don't know why or what to do about it. I'm rubbing off on those around me and something has to change.
Is it my new medication? Depression, change, or something else from the end of our Camino de Santiago? Whatever it is, I need to share it so perhaps I can understand it better. Because I'm also letting you down and I can't accept that.

Hi, I'm Rick and I live in a bus.
Yup, I'm one of "them". My passion is exploring things just outside of the proverbial box. Travel, adventure, wonder, and all that. (Yea, I'm a little bit ADHD and I kinda need constant stimulation).
But the problem is that I'm also a non-planner. I tend to wing things and just hope for the best. Which actually sometimes even happens.

What I understand about the smaller places in these big churches is that they had different people who did services there. So where we have now 1 person doing the service for the whole church, they had many others in the smaller ones as well. So you could go to your favourite one. Bit like a mall, but for religion. Now I heard that, it becomes understandable why you often see seats there. I assume, but am not sure, that they had to pay a part of their income as a rent, but that will probably had a different name.
And about the anxiety, I think in Europe people tend to be more about looking for help that does not means taking medicine, but rather solve the anxiety itself. So that means most likely talking to a professional. But that is not something you can do during a vacation. That might be why the medicine is not available. Because in Europe we do it differently. Taking medicine is almost always avoided if at all possible. This does not mean it is better or worse, just a different approach.
I know people who take medicine and it can also be the dosage is an issue or that a different medicine might be better for you specifically. The issue is obviously that it would take a longer period to see what works best for you. That is great for somebody who lives at a fixed location and can see the same doctor and specialist over a period of several months and can follow you up over years, but that does nit really help you now.
But best is to see a doctor again. But understand that they will be hesitant to prescribe drugs to somebody they see for the first time. Doctors are accountable if they prescribe too much of a certain drug. This is done to avoid abuse.
Got back to the Dr. I might be a dosage issue. Unfortunately anxiety/depression meds can take some time to work. But first step, see a doctor.
