Just to make it clear!!! Channel memberships does NOT mean only channel members can comment ❤ it just means when videos go big and get overwhelming, I will be able to take care of my brain and filter comments down to channel member ones. I’ll still be trying to respond to people in the first few days as I normally do! But channel members gives me a bit more of a break when things are overwhelming. And, I can share live videos there without worrying that my kids might be available to the public perception unfiltered and unedited, as I try to keep them visible safe and very minimal way on my channel.
THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE REGARDLESS!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Hugs Hun. I'm still at the beginning of my housecleaning/clearing journey. I have a notebook that I'm filling with your suggestions and a long list of books to read and make a compiled list of how to's. I'm basically starting everything over. Literally everything. Sorting everything out. If I feel disappointed in something it's leaving. Only useful and beautiful items are worthy of a home.

My daughter has high anxiety and people afobia getting her started and to finish anything was hard but we got her some medication and she does better around people and she finishes what she starts. She also doesn't like dirty hands or grease hands she gets bladder infection for being around cats we had to get rid of hers but she loves them. But we very slowly get things done while we take care of 13 cow dogs. Yes we do work on a Ranch in the middle of know we're 2 hours from town. I was the 'perfect' mother until I actually had children !!!and to make it worse I started out with two girls who were truly wonderful well behaved children, so I remained the judgmental
one, as clearly I !!! knew how to raise children; but at the age of 6 my eldest daughter died from a brain tumor, and after a while wanting more children, I prayed for two boys, non identical twins.
After many years I did become pregnant and gave birth to fraternal boy twins.
I could leave the rest to your imagination; but what a humbling experience.
They were extremely difficult if not impossible to handle, cried and whined from morning till night, fought constantly, I barely made it through each day, let alone being able to get them to do anything.
This is the short version, but never judge until you've walked in another shoes.
Best lesson I have ever learnt

Thank you all for these comments. I have only one child and yet… Even if I wanted him desperately I wasn’t ready for the reality of mothering him. I adore him but he came with many challenges (neurodivergence, high medical daily needs, and the strongest will ever). I started to resent my “perfect mother” friends whose children would listen, help, sit, try things, smile rather than whine, and obey rather than be defiant. All my plans for showering my son with every fun and creative bonding experience went down the drain. He continues to humble me, and I have to often remind myself that my prior fantasies around motherhood are my problem, not his.

Mom of 5 here. Our baby just started community college and we’ve now entered the world of “compounding interest” in family member numbers. 3 are married, one is getting married in January and between January and March of 2025 we will add 3 people to the family. One by marriage and two new babies. Anyway, they still love coming home and hanging out and I know we are quite blessed by that. But I still have days when I’m just tired and weary. Today was one of those days so I decided to hide for a bit and watch one of your videos. I find them quite calming and I love the way you edit them and your music choices and the real life things you include. Good job Mama! Dear Kristina: I'm a much older gal and the truth is that folks who get mean, judgmental, and/or harrass have larger problems. It's sign of a person who cannot be their own best friend for whatever reason. It could be many things. I can have empathy for how it affects THEM, but it's unkind. I won't get into the psychology of this because I'm not trained in that area, but it makes them feel better for about a minute. You are brave because you share your life in media. And you have inspired me to self-publish my own book of ghost stories. I have people in my life who face challenges and folks want to judge. Let's just live, and let live! If someone doesn't like what they see or hear there's plenty to watch. Trolling is unnecessary. That said, I've judged a little, too. But another young RUclipsr just woke me up to the fact that I am not very kind and accepting of ME. And I'm changing that now. Best wishes to you for your continued love of self.

I am an older gal and have been one of those bad commentors. I found myself making comments because homemakers weren't acting like I thought they should. As you said, someone commented back to me that I was not being nice, I have decided to change that. If I have nothing nice to say, I will not comment or I will just unsubscribe to a channel. There is plenty to watch out there. I will say though, it is much easier to watch a channel with less talk about personal problems they may be facing. I have one channel I really like for her creativity, but she is always talking about her ADHD, her break up, apologizing about her dog barking or the cat jumping on her desk that I had to start muting in order for me to enjoy it and focus on what she was actually doing.

I have ADHD too (not officially diagnosed because the process is so difficult as you probably already know), and some days, I look at a mess, in the back of my mind I KNOW I can and should clean it, but I can't make myself move. And the longer I see it there uncleaned, especially when it could take me less than five minutes to resolve it, it's so hard. It's why whenever I suddenly get this burst of cleaning energy, I try to get to make the most of it.
I once decluttered and organized my entire bedroom at 10:30 pm 😅
Thank you for your videos about this, it helps people like me feel less badly about not being able to have a pristine house 24/7 like the Instagram girlies (which are probably fake, but tell that to my brain)
On another note, I love how the cat did not move at all when you were fixing the blanket on the couch. That's such a cat thing to do 😂

I just found your videos this week. I find them taking me back to when I was younger and raising my 3 kids and I was a stay at home mom for awhile. It was too expensive to pay child care etc. So I stayed home. But really i loved being a homemaker. Money was extremely tight. We lived in an older home that needed work. I even had to wash out clothes by hand fir awhile. But I loved it. But in society I was looked down upon as being lazy, etc because my husband was the only one working at the time. I had always thought I was born in the wrong Era. I love the 40s and 50s. But reality is that through all of that it was the happiest I had ever been. Years later went back to school for my degree and went to work. Now years later as I have entered my senior years I still go back to those times and it brings back a warmth in my heart. Girl you are fine doing what you are doing. It's realistic, it's the norm for everyday families. I enjoy your videos. You be you. It's so much out there now that is trying to keep up with each other. Life is meant to be lived and to make wonderful memories for those beautiful children. Believe me they will take what you are teaching them into adulthood and into how they raise their families. You appreciate the smaller things. Stop and smell the roses is what is intended for us to do for our soul and mental health. Keep doing what you are doing. This is from a woman who has been there and done that. God Bless

Thanks for everything you do

Thanks for existing. Soon I’ll be getting married and starting a whole new life. I’m terrified. The standards to be the perfect wife and mother and boss b** who makes tons of money is so incredibly hard and I’ve always felt so lost and scared to fail. No one ever talks about homemaking on a low budget, lower than comfortable, and still finding a way to thrive and not just survive. I really appreciate you putting yourself out there and being fully honest. And for reference, any and every single negative comment you will ever get will 100% be other insecure, terrified, unaware women who don’t know what to do and are upset you’re figuring it out in a way that doesn’t please their Internet personality narrative. You’re amazing. You know it, your husband knows it, your kids know it, and we all know it. ❤

When I first joined FaceBook many years ago, I was excited to use it as a way to write and share essays. However, it didn’t take long before I realized that writing on a public forum takes courage. I found I wasn’t ready to bravely put myself out there. I applaud you for sharing your unique way of life with all of us. Please know that many of us truly appreciate that! As far as the haters go, if you don’t have something nice or at least constructive to say, please just quit watching rather than hurt this lovely woman’s feelings!

Thank you for being inclusive and for making your channel a safe space for those of us who are interested in homemaking but who don't quite feel like we fit in, either because of having non-traditional families, or because of neurodivergence. As an auDHD single mom who is drawn to home-centered slow living, I love your channel. ❤

Hello, I subscribed about a week ago and have been waiting for you to post again so that I could tell you how much I love your content. I think you are adorable and I love your way of life. It reminds me very much of growing up, where we didn't have a lot, but we were happy and thankful for what we had. Our home was warm and inviting and our mom was loving and kind. She sewed all of our clothes when we were young, she baked, and we often did crafts together. Wonderful memories. Your children are so blessed to have a mom who is not so preoccupied with keeping up with the Jones's or having a spotless sterile home but spends time with them loving, nurturing and showing them the very things of life that really matter. God Bless you and your family 🙏🤎

I've only been watching your channel for a couple of months and love your content, the love and strength you have for your family, animals, home, and especially the way you deal with day -to -day REAL life with 5+ children. I'm almost 60 years old and wish I would have had a channel to watch like yours to keep me organized and focused in just knowing that we are not alone in our struggles. It's all worth it and the bottom line is the love you share with others. You have no idea how many people you are helping out there with your outlook on the world we're living in today. Keep doing what you're doing and never give up! God bless you and yours and don't be concerned with negative comments. As long as you are doing your best that is all that matters and I thank you for providing a real life channel. Stay beautiful 🙂❤🙏 I see a very strong woman in you and a great example to many.

I just found your channel last week and binge watched a bunch of your videos. I think that you are doing a great job, being a mom with a lot of kids is hard work. We just left Canada and moved to El Salvador. I can say that leaving so much of our stuff behind was quite cathartic and now cleaning our home takes nearly no time at all. In fact I am not sure what to do with all of my spare time now LOL. I like watching your cleaning videos, it keeps me inspired to keep up the house everyday and not get lazy and let it get out of hand, maybe I should do a cleaning video too. Thanks!

    Thank YOU for your channel!!!!
I watch many cooing channels and some “how to” homestead channels. I’ve struggled because there are few channels I can relate to. Many have money, their own businesses or maybe family money and so their version of homesteading is way out of my scope. Also, many channels that “live and cook humbly” actually state how many material items and specific products one “needs” to buy in order to make things from scratch. I’ve had to remove myself from channels and remind myself that even countries with far less income than ours are currently, not just in previous decades, grow without much and make things without much. I’m rambling…. lol just know that you and your channel are invaluable! And you deserve any goodness that comes your way from your pure kindness, vulnerability and helpfulness you share!!!!! 💜🥰💜🥰💜

I don't always leave comments, but I do have to say that I watch a ton of your videos, and I love them. I also love watching Inspired by Nikki and Lizzie in Lace. Each and every one of you has really inspired me to change my style, I went from always wearing blue jeans, t shirts, and work out fits to wearing only dresses. I also have slowly changed my decor for my home as well. I love the cottage core, whimsical romantic style in my home and with what I wear. I used to wear only black clothes. I am a plus size woman, and I thought I could only wear black, now my closet is full of beautiful pastels with florals dresses, and red polka dot dresses. Thank you for sharing your life with me and for all of us. You are beautiful and amazing person.

Oh the chronically online are utterly repulsive. People are so judgemental and yet expect not to be held accountable for their own behaviour? I am always so baffled and appalled when you say you encounter such negativity. I genuinely cannot imagine anyone watching any of your beautiful, comforting, wise content and feeling anything other than gratitude and joy. I am so sorry Kristina. I hope so much that those people are made to reflect on their behaviours and learn lessons soon. I also wish with all my heart that your positive and appreciative comments begin resonate as heavily and wholly as the hurtful ones do.
