The resistance should be 5,3 Ohm +- 0,5 Ohm at 20 degree Celcius according to the the original Renault k9k diesel engine workshop manual. Remember about the temperature guys.

Si encuentra limaduras (partículas de metal de color amarillo brillante), la bomba de alta presión debe ser reemplazada 13) Conecte dos clips de gancho a los terminales del regulador de presión 14) En las bombas de alta presión Delphi 1.5 dci, la resistencia del regulador de presión debe ser de unos 5 ohmios 15) Si la resistencia es igual a 0 ohmios, los 2 clips de gancho probablemente estén en cortocircuito: reposicionarlos para que tengan una resistencia > 0 ohmios 16) Para probar el funcionamiento de la válvula selenoide, conecte los 2 cables del multímetro a los terminales + y - de la batería. 17) El regulador de presión es un contacto de cierre (normalmente abierto) 18) Cuando el regulador de presión está alimentado, la válvula de cierre debe moverse 19) Este regulador de presión funciona perfectamente

this test does not show the mechanical state of the regulator.current measurment with scope and amp clamp is way more efficient. and it requires a lot less time.

When my wife tried to start off on second gear, she release clutch too fast and steped on gas pedal, but engie died anyway. Since that, engine fault code (fuel pressure regulator fail- maximum limit reach) , and fatal failure is light on when I go full throttle, but when I release throttle , everything went OK. Car is not smoking (even when I have model without exhoust filter) acceleration , power, starting, and sound is normal. Could be regulator demaged due to my wifes failed atempt to start off ?
@@jancadek3913 connect a error code reader and clean out fail codes, if they reappear it might be faulty, otherwise only a glitch in electronic programming

When I pulled out pressure regulator and squised rubber diesel pump, fuel does not bursted out, just lazy dropped. So something in rotary high pressure pump whas cloged. Even cloged it can build enaugh pressure to not trigger fault code, but it not build eaugh fuel flow to feed injectors, so with "full throtle" pressure droped , power stoped to raise, and loot of fault codes apears including pressure regulator malfunction.

Добрый день, подскажите пожалуйста,на этом видео 2:40 когда качают грушей с топливной идёт струя со свистом,а у меня этого нет. Когда качаю бежит самотёком и с воздухом, булькает, двигатель троит,наверное причина не в регуляторе топлива а все таки в этой струе???

Not a good test, plenty of faulty regulators will work when in open air under no pressure. Put it under 1000 Bar and then see if it works.

This regulator is working in about 4-5 bars pressure so this test is good.

What does it mean if the regulator is always open? Does it mean the fuel pressure will be low, if the connector to it is unugged?
It will stay open when there is no power supply. i.e when the car is turned off
Probar el regulador asi es estropearlo, un regulador trabaja en ancho de pulso(PWM) si abre y cierra no quiere decir que esta bueno.

Could be problem with supply to primer (filter?). Try connecting temporary fuel supply to primer.
