I’m sorry, but trashing the old school iPhone design with the home button kind of misses the point of the iPhone SE. The whole reason I use an SE is because I prefer to have a home button, and I know I’m not the only one. The SE is for those of us that want modern power in our phone, but still want a more traditional iPhone UI experience...
I stand with you. Trashing the iPhone SE's design is like trashing the OG iPhone's design, which is what all others refined until the X. And all of those iPhones had been iconic (not to say face ID ones are not)
@@emvarad Indeed, I'm still on my 12 mini and have no interest in upgrading because of this. The iPhone 15 I got my wife reminds me of the old bricks mobile phones used to befor GSM tech even was available. edit: 12 mini not just 12
I don't think Apple would add a second camera to the SE 4 because it would make it way too similar to the iPhone 16, they need a way to differentiate it. But a high quality camera of 48MP doesn't sound too crazy, even though i also doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if they used 12MP one

I dunno how to feel - some people buy the iPhone SE just for the home button and old familiar design. I'm all for this redesign. I just got a dumbphone though, I'm not getting any iPhone.
A problem apple is going to start facing is people turning to used pro max devices that take better pictures, have 120hz oled panels and still get updates. A 13 Pro/Max can be had in their 128GB configs for around 400-500 dollars now. This will decrease by another 100 dollars once the 16s come out and even more when the 17s come out. A 17/Plus will cost 899 or 999 and be 3x as expensive as a 13 Pro Max that does the same things or better just without all the AI for 300 dollars.
And why do you think is that a problem for Apple..? They didn't raised their price since 2017 (6" iPhone X in 2017 was $999 and the also 6" iPhone 15 Pro in 2024 still $999, with lot of internal upgrades what others offers you with price raising..) so their main focus is not the one time bonus on the phone sales, especially when somebody use their phone for 5-6 years or even longer, they just want more users.. because just a simple Apple Music subscriptions make $120 per year profit, multiply that with 5-6 years.. (sure not all of the users pay that, but more user is also more potential subscription fee.. and they can get that even on that iPhone 13 for $300..)
One of the reasons I bought a 5 Gen iPad Air over the Pro was Touch ID. My 2 Gen iPhone SE is losing battery life, and I want USB C. But if Apple kills Touch ID on the SE, I’ve got no reason to wait for the 4 Gen SE, rather than get the iPhone 16. Touch ID is one of Apple’s strengths, and I’ll be sad to see it go. It’s a real pity they don’t use the iPad Touch ID power button on the iPhones. No Touch ID means I’ve no reason to stick with the SE line.
@@minddrug709 i know he said that, but looking Apple's History, It probably won't, to lower the price. Honestly i believe that even OLED screen will not show up on this model
Bezels, possibly a slightly older chip, different material/finish. Storage/ram options. Probably a notch instead of dynamic island. Yes what im saying contradicts the rumors, but these are the easiest ways apple can cut corners to make a cheaper product that is still highly functional. And none of these rumors are guarantees till we get closer to release next spring.
Specs and pricing are not known yet so it's hard to tell. Unless there is something you expect SE 4 to have that iPhone 13 doesn't, then maybe it's not worth the wait. But if you don't need your phone yet, it might be worth it. And if the SE 4 is a flop, you can always get an iPhone 13 instead after the SE 4 release.
@gordonoboh833 that's true, but if he planing to use the phone longer, the iPhone 13 will get 4 OS upgrade less like the new one, and to get 3 years upgrade for $350 or 7 years upgrade for $499 the second us cheaper in total ($117 vs $71 per years)
I don't mind the iPhone SE3 design. Looks like an iPhone 8 that's souped up. LCD is fine with me too if it will make it cheaper. Just wish it had higher brightness.
IMO, I think all of these upgrades are basically blown out of proportion. Think of it, the SE line is supposed to be Apple's most "affordable" iPhone and a way to get people "test the waters". The SE line has predominatly used old design to keep it cheap. What I think apple may do is use the XR just to get rid of the home button, or the 11 just so that it can also take spacial video with the second camera lens. Aside that, I think all these leaks in this video are a little over the top for what's supposed to be an SE. Apple still used the camera hardware for iPhone 8 (2017) for even the SE 3 (2022) and you think they'll leap-frog the X, 11, 12, 13 and give it 14 Pro's camera? Really? The only "latest" thing we're getting is the CPU and USB-C
The “old school terrible iPhone SE design” is actually not terrible at all, it’s just outdated and not what people are used to anymore. It still works for a lot of people and it was a classic design that lasted for years in many iPhone launches to date. Apple still sells a phone with that design for a reason. I stand by that design and have been mostly using iPhones with that design since 2016.
Not sure about ur experience with the iPhone home button and touch ID is but Ive literally only had iPhone’s with touch ID (my first iPhone was an iPhone 7, then I got an 8, then I used an old iPhone SE 2016, then I upgraded to an iPhone SE 2020 and now i have an iPhone SE 2022)and for me the touch ID has NEVER been unreliable. I love the home button, specially touch ID, so much that I have specifically gotten every recent iPhone with it so I dont have to let it go. While I am excited about the new iPhone SE I will be morning the home button lmao.
My preference only but I will not be buying the SE 4 because I think it's too big. Instead, I plan on picking up a SE 3 just before the SE 4 is released.
I was using the SE 1st gen since 2017 until early this year when the charging port got broken. I bought redmi a3 for temporary use and if this is true, Im so much excited to have this in the future.

If the SE4 looks like the iPhone 16 in every way - including Dynamic Island (and still features the most recent chip, as per how SEs normally do), how would it be separated from the iPhone 16 and come in at a lower price, man? 🤦🏾♂
I think the next SE will probably have an LCD notch display. Probably just have an iPhone 12 style back camera. USB C. Start with 64gb storage and 4-6 Gb ram. 60 hz. Basically an iPhone 12 with USB C and current processor.
It will be very popular when it be old and be selling out or on second hand market same as was original SE. when it was sold here new for about 300 usd if subtract value added tax and others, many ppl bought it as first iPhone and many still use it.
Just what a previous comment says, no one cares cause a majority of the time, the SE is being bought for a kid or older person. My 12 yr old daughter used an SE until I recently upgraded my phone and I just let her have my old 12 Pro. If that had not happened she'd still be using the SE.
I’m a Pro Max user, but I was curious as to what they were going to do to separate this phone from the regular 16. I read a few rumors that the regular 16 is getting 120 HTZ display as well. Combine that with Apple intelligence, more ram and probably larger storage options, that should be enough. To be honest, I wouldn’t think it would be a bad thing to make the SE4 plastic🤷🏾♂️
Good quality plastic is highly underrated as a back material. It's durable against drops since it does not shatter, and most people are going to be using a case with their phones so that nice-looking glass back will only end up making your phone heavier without any real-world benefits. My Samsung S21 FE has a plastic back and I would not trade it for a glass panel, even if it were a free upgrade.
If the high-refresh screen comes to the non-pro models, I could save nearly $400 by going with the non-pro iPhone. The only reason I get the pro model is because of the high-refresh screen.
It´s "rumored" that starting with iPhone 17, there will be better refresh rates for normal iPhones (Not the SE). 120 Hz sounds too good to be true, but 90Hz would be ideal.
@@toumabernabe737 for a company that's always claiming to be the first in everything or a corporation that's the best innovator they always seem to be dead last in everything but chips and I wonder why because it's not that much more expensive to be add things people want or features android users have had for 10+ years and the Budget phone which is what most of the world's population will be buying should have features other budget phones have so wait for the iPhone 17 to get a 90hz display is frankly unacceptable and we shouldn't be putting up for this shit!!
i think apple will fit the SE with an older chip that doesnt fully support apple intelligence and that will be the main area they "save costs" as a lot of people will want the new ai features.
You can buy an a55 with decent specs 120hz oled great design, right now for even less. Why would you buy this other than if your a REAL apple fanboy who can’t cough up their prices, who doesn’t want to buy refurbished and is okay with apple making it slightly subpar to not take away from iPhone 16 sales.(i am an se user myself)
I totally agree with this. I do have a 2015 j7 samsung, it has not face ID for lock but IT has a camera that does FaceID for programs on pc. So the tech is not new and... ONE can totally tell he does not know what he is talking about when he mention Android phones.
What we wish SE4:- iPhone 13 mini body with dynamic island What apple bringing:- iPhone 14 with action button no-one like Type c not exited OLED screen it's obvious iPhone 16 mini we wish 😮
Some rare cases want the mini version of all things, but since it is not the majority of people, Apple is starting to left the build of these devices. So is not secure that your wish will come true.
This is a big improvement over iPhone se 3 good review but since I didn't see anything about the screen size hopefully they have the same size as the iPhone 13 mini because they need to bring back the small phone then I might upgrade my iPhone 13 mini
I don't think the SE 4 will poach as many Android users as you predict. The only thing that will be superior about the SE 4 will be the chip, but everything else will lag behind Android for the same price in comparison. I think these changes do sound very promising and it should sell much better than the SE 3, but in terms of what you get for what you spend, Android is better value on everything except the chip.
I think it should be the other way around, so One Single Camera, Dynamic Island support with no FaceID but with TouchID in the lock switch like the iPad, not sure they care about OLED an easy way to cut corners, and the Chipset from iPhone 15 Pro and they won't call it pro lol that way they support Apple Intelligence!
So Apple has to cut something to keep it cheaper. Probably plastic back, no wireless charging, or maybe 5 watt charging. Lol Basically iPhone 15 with cutbacks.
@@OzanG31 i know just don’t want everything right away I’m ok with some it’s gonna happen no matter what but in time because that’s how everything is headed
I can't see any reason to buy one except for the price if that's all you can afford. Or for a child as their 1st phone so they don't lose an expansive one.
SE, never…..not for me! I always go with the Pro version, until recently! I switched to the Pro Max when I got my iPhone 15. Straight up, I will stay the the Pro Max here on in!
I recently got a Samsung S20+ for about 90$. It had a single green line going from top to bottom (defect) but who cares. It performs very well although I still prefer an iPhone. For sure there are users like me who focus more on function and price rather than aesthetics and premium shizzz.
@@carlosemiralonso7997 Samsung Flagship 2nd hand oldies would be my 2nd choice because they would still have the premium parts including the sony lenses, etc. Also, they are normally STILL expensive 2nd hand and the phone I got would normally go for around $400. But thanks to the green line, I'm fine with sub $100. If I could get an iPhone 11 for $100 I'd take it :) Not sure about Xiaomi parts though. I'd have to check them out.
The SE 4 sounds too good and thus too expensive for what I wanted it to be. I was hoping for a notch, single camera 48MP (so 12MP 2x integrated), USB C and cheap enough to become the phone of literally every family member except myself. I agree that they will most definitely give it a chip that doesn’t support Apple Intelligence for the upsell factor which could keep the price lower. But in Europe it’s not even sure if Apple Intelligence comes in the foreseeable future. So another reason for Apple to make it more expensive and not that great of a fit for my mother, little sister and so on…
So, the iPhone SE 4 is basically the same as the iPhone 16? That makes no sense to me. Apple needs to keep a good value proposition for the other iPhones.
I don't believe that it's happening that way, because I think they will just take the body of the iPhone 13 mini and replace the door camera with one camera make the glass back mat And they will give it to A18 chip
You are offending a lot of viewers who really want a fingerprint reader. The "old" design you are dissing is Apple's longest running iPhone design in its history.
I don't get why would anyone buy an iPhone SE when they can buy a regular iPhone 16 or whatever for less price as they usually get discounts and are popular too
Size matter for some. I like smaller phones. I once decided to switch from a S8 to a S9+ and liked it at first but then it became big in my pockets. Got a S20+ cause of a nice deal and again with a S23 FE which is wider than the S20+. Now, I really want something smaller and was waiting for the 16 to switch from Android until now the SE 4 sounds like the best option but I have yet to wait for oficial specs.
Recently I bought myself a new iPad Air m2 because all the reviews about how camera placement and faster m2 is important and must have for everyone! But in reality coming from iPad Pro 2017 not feeling much difference at all, only a speed bump and that is all! Don’t believe in hype, all apple products just a small upgrades and basically the same. Unfortunately I can’t return it because I’m from Ukraine and we don’t have this option in our country. Would be still using my iPad Pro from 2017 if I knew the true.
Thanks for the info. I'm from Argentina, never had an Ipad, want to have one. Suggestion, you should sell it on an used market (either one) to just pick or be left with one device. I known a guy who actually uses an Iphone to record and a function to see what is being recorded on the Ipad itself. You can do that if you use the tech for recording/making movies. Have a great day!

i think apple will fit the SE with an older chip that doesnt fully support apple intelligence and that will be the main area they "save costs" as a lot of people will want the new ai features.
They save costs by recycling old unsold iphone parts, and bad cameras
At that price point I believe it will be the iPhone xr with a boxy appearance, usbc port, and a17 bionic.
All we need is another MINI iphone!
I hope they keep the SIM slot 🙏
Samsung lost my trust with s23 Fe
What we wish SE4:-
iPhone 13 mini body with dynamic island
What apple bringing:-
iPhone 14 with action button no-one like
Type c not exited
OLED screen it's obvious
iPhone 16 mini we wish 😮
Some rare cases want the mini version of all things, but since it is not the majority of people, Apple is starting to left the build of these devices. So is not secure that your wish will come true.
Even if it still has notch I wouldn't mind
What's matter is the inside
Hopefully it will be a good replacement for my iPhone 12 Pro
Iphone 12 Pro is still great, you should wait for the Iphone 16 Pro Max or till better options come your way.
@@carlosemiralonso7997 yeah, but my battery is broken, storage to small and replacement is not worth it (100 euros at apple and certified stores)
Rn no, but after a year, you should get the se4
I just want a smaller iPhone under 6in even under 5in would be better
This is a big improvement over iPhone se 3 good review but since I didn't see anything about the screen size hopefully they have the same size as the iPhone 13 mini because they need to bring back the small phone then I might upgrade my iPhone 13 mini
wow i was hoping for a update to the 13 mini being the Ipjone SE 4
I would seriously consider an SE4 if it had FaceID. I have an IPhone 13 Mini and I am used to having no home button
It ofc has face id
But what will the antenna strength be like? My Iphone SE 2020 has awful signal strength. Will the new one have a bigger better antenna??
It uses Intel modem
Newer iPhone uses Qualcomm modem so it's better
Some of us would like a maximum 5 inch display bevel to bevel and no larger.
There´s no way SE4 would support AI. Just like the iPad 11th, it will be an entry device.
@@toumabernabe737It will have ai
So Apple has to cut something to keep it cheaper.
Probably plastic back, no wireless charging, or maybe 5 watt charging. Lol
Basically iPhone 15 with cutbacks.
I just got the iPhone 15 pro and I think with iPhone 16 being really AI I’m not upgrading for a while until I’m actually ready don’t know if I would
15 also has ai, don't worry
Waay to go. I look at Xiaomi for price-quality, but you do a great choice.
I'd have to check them out.
iphone SE 4 should have iphone mini body
No it won’t, it doesn’t have fingerprint censor , weak
The SE 4 sounds too good and thus too expensive for what I wanted it to be. I was hoping for a notch, single camera 48MP (so 12MP 2x integrated), USB C and cheap enough to become the phone of literally every family member except myself. I agree that they will most definitely give it a chip that doesn’t support Apple Intelligence for the upsell factor which could keep the price lower. But in Europe it’s not even sure if Apple Intelligence comes in the foreseeable future. So another reason for Apple to make it more expensive and not that great of a fit for my mother, little sister and so on…
It will have recycled parts of older iphones like the screen, so it probably can keep the price
This a terrible idea. You’d be an idiot to buy the 16 now.
I’m no techie but the se4 seems to be an upgrade to the 15??? 🤷♂️
Guy calls touch id unreliable,
You know this channel is full of clowns
It probably won’t have the 120 refresh rate either. If it did I’d be tempted to purchase it but if not I’ll pass.
Nice video
We do not need another video on rumors if you have no fact then don’t report anything at all
So, the iPhone SE 4 is basically the same as the iPhone 16? That makes no sense to me. Apple needs to keep a good value proposition for the other iPhones.
The cameras, and build quality, but I don't care much about both of those, so idk, maybe apple will remove some features?
@@OzanG31 Maybe it will come with an older chip and not get AI.
@@eros8834 yeah but whole point of an SE is old body new chip
@@OzanG31 If this video is right they might reverse the old formula. Perhaps it will get the same chip as the iPhone 15.
I would guess that the SE4 will have USB-C but only USB 2.0 data transfer protocols. Plus no Millimetre Wave 5G.
I'm not going to be gaslighted into believing that TouchID was slow or unreliable!
I don't believe that it's happening that way, because I think they will just take the body of the iPhone 13 mini and replace the door camera with one camera make the glass back mat And they will give it to A18 chip
You are offending a lot of viewers who really want a fingerprint reader. The "old" design you are dissing is Apple's longest running iPhone design in its history.
iPhone 13 mini chassis would have been better for this new SE.
Even after discounts, there will be a $200 difference between SE4 and iPhone15, or $300 between SE and iPhone16. It´s too much for many people.
Will SE4 support Apple Intelligence?
Yes
Hopefully 120hz and decent battery
Why should anyone buy the iPhone 16 ☠️☠️☠️☠️
AI, better cameras (48mp on the UltraWide), better battery life, better processor, different colors for sure, etc.
@@toumabernabe737 I think ai is the only big deal 😂.
What would make me think about switching is apple intelligence. Without it i might just pop a new battery on my Iphone SE 2020
Guy giving spoilers for IPhone SE 10😂😂😂
Bro you are correct, apple’s gonna cutoff some of the features you mentioned 😂😂
All of features*😂
If they make it under 45k in India ppls gona go mad
Don't get your hopes astronomically high.
Apple's Conversion Rate: $1 = ₹100
$549 = ₹54,900
$599 = ₹59,900
Home button and unreliable should never be in the same sentence, the home button was super reliable
just update the iPhone 13 mini. thicker for more battery, with dynamic island and patest chip
Touch ID is perfectly reliable. I’m using it right now. Face ID is not secure at all. You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about.
No way SE4 will have duo camera. Do Apple really except people who use iPhone SE to afford a Vision Pro?
There’s NO WAY this phone will be under $500, ok, maybe $499 😂
if se 4 becoming the best selling phone, apple is failing their marketing strategy, their shares are gonna fall miserably lol
So, with all these new specs, it will cost only $100 less than the 16 ? 😂😳😬🤔
Something tells me it might not have night mode
No fact, just rumors and the rumors are getting old
