I think it’s actually ridiculous that you don’t get that for a phone that is damn near $1,000 USD in 2024. That’s one of the things holding me back. I don’t know if it’s worth paying $900 (after tax) for an iPhone 16 or just wait a couple of months and get an se4 which addresses most of my complaints. I bought every SE iPhone I bought the SE three on launch. I really love it. My favorite iPhone but historically they just don’t sell well. You can buy it right now a two-year-old phone for 150 bucks I don’t looked at that to change for the SE four.. I will absolutely buy it on lunch. I can’t wait. Let’s not go kill androids
All three of the previous SE’s came out with the latest chip so I’m not surprised that this one is too. Apple makes great devices but there’s nothing about this that will convert most android users. I have 4 iPhones and I do like them but I still prefer to daily my Pixel. I’m not trying to knock Apple, heck I’m typing this on my iPad but there are features I use daily on my Pixel that I always miss when I carry one of my iPhones.
Do you have Apple stock or something mate? Apple is already the leading phone manufacturer in the US, what do you care if more people switch to iPhone? Personally, I think USB-C was a bigger deal than people realize and one of the reasons why I want to buy a newer iPhone. I do agree that iPhones have a lot of convenient features. Apple Pay being private and secure is something that I’m using quite a lot. The Apple ecosystem is nice in the sense that my Apple Watch pairs well. If I have the cellular version and a corresponding plan I can leave my phone at home and still make calls on it. Unfortunately that’s not something that can be done with many high profile watches on android. The watch situation in Samsung is a hot mess. Some watches you can’t even pair with newer phones which is mind boggling. It is frustrating that Apple insists on trying to lock you into their walled garden, however. Besides that, iPhone does have some annoying things about it. Firstly, there is no excuse for Apple not including a 120 hertz display on a damn near $1,000 USD phone other than them wanting to cheap out on the screen and save a few bucks. Also, they are locking in faster usb-c 3. speeds behind the pro models. Regular iPhones are still stuck up with usb-c 2.0 speeds.
$599 is too expensive. Perhaps in the US it’s cheap but here in Europe, after you add tax, it will cost €720 which is considered flagship pricing…..it needs to be €450 maximum incl. tax, if it is to entice android users. Here in the EU and other countries where people don’t earn alot, they only buy android because they cannot afford iPhone. So if you want them to have iPhone it needs to be the same price as budget androids.
I Want a iPhone that is truly uniqe, sonethibg like the iPhone 5, a nice design. I loved the homebutton and look a but jealous too the people still rocking iPhone 8 or so
This is just my opinion, I think it would be better to have a fingerprint scanner on the side of the iPhone like the iPad 10th gen, and not have that ugly notch. I would buy it. Just my personal opinion.
I think the new iPhone SE 4 won’t have the A18 but the A17 pro as the new iPad mini 7 and won’t have Face ID either. I will have Touch ID in the power button, again similar to the iPad mini 6/7 and the iPad 10th.
Nobody buys an Iphone SE for gaming or power user stuff dude. You buy an Iphone SE for your grandma or grandpa and they don't care if it's IOS or Android, as long as they can call their daughter or the hospital.
Kill Androids? Today you can buy an Android phone with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage + 120Hz 2400x1080 screen + 5000mAh battery + 50MP camera for $150. And it has full screen display with small punch hole camera instead of a big notch. How is a $500 iPhone with half the storage, half the RAM and 60Hz screen going to kill all Androids when it struggles to kill a $150 entry level phone? iPhone SE 4 will have a much faster SoC. Going to smoke cheap Androids in mobile gaming. No competition there. But most people just browse web and social media on their phones. And a cheap $150 Android hits 120Hz in simple 2D apps.
I phone SE can never kill Android because there is no innovation but it's degradation in all aspects expect chipset compared to other Android phones, people are not dumb anymore to believe in Apple 🍎 it's saturated many be it will look like phone XR 2025.

I’m still on iPod Touch but looking to upgrade to my first smart phone. I was thinking of getting an IPhone 15 but I might wait and get this instead. Either way it should definitely blow my iPod out of the water as I’m still on iOS 15.
still prefer the home button and small light form factor
How is 6.1 inches a mini?
The physical size of the SE is getting bigger, so Apple do no longer have any smaller phone. A mini phone. A size Steve Jobs valued.
Such a pity.
It is really a good new for Apple fans.
Will the Tesla Pi phone be out by then?
Nice video
Why do phone reviewers make so many assumptions about people who would be in the market for that particular phone?
He never said the phone will draw Android users he just says it kills Android and the specs do kill Android in that price range for a brand new phone
It better be $499 and not $599. Or even better $449
Dang.I prefer the home button.
Probably not live my OnePlus 12 and 13 to come.
1 camera is not enough. Unless they managed to make it a multi use camera, wide, reg, zoom.
rofl, 60hz, one camera, no ultra-wide and that notch. but 500 dollar? wtf??? no way.
i believe Apple is superior to Androids, but no 60Hz iPhone is gonna hurt Android sales lmao
Again the eye-blasting OLED PWM display. Why can't they provide LCD in their SE series?
Why would they provide an inferior display technology for an iPhone in 2025?
@@just_mdd4 OLEDs have PWM that hurts eyes of many.
They will cripple it that getting a 1 year old iPhone 16 will be better!
I hope it keeps Touch ID in some way
Gotta admit, it’s too good to be true.
I hope Apple is smart and stays with 499 for the budget phone
Definitely,I'll buy this for my mom and dad
I Want a iPhone that is truly uniqe, sonethibg like the iPhone 5, a nice design. I loved the homebutton and look a but jealous too the people still rocking iPhone 8 or so
If it comes out as has been leaked, I'm moving from my pixel.
Many people do use ultrawide camera
will it run on ios 18 or android 15?
18
I think I’ll stick with my Nothing Phone 2a.
"New iPhone SE" and "Budget" but it's Apple.
Does it support 5G?
This is just my opinion, I think it would be better to have a fingerprint scanner on the side of the iPhone like the iPad 10th gen, and not have that ugly notch. I would buy it. Just my personal opinion.
might just get the 13 for the same price. 6 months? maybe the 14 then
Old SE is ugly but new SE is not ugly. Understood.
This will in fact not kill androids.
I think the new iPhone SE 4 won’t have the A18 but the A17 pro as the new iPad mini 7 and won’t have Face ID either. I will have Touch ID in the power button, again similar to the iPad mini 6/7 and the iPad 10th.
Also I think it won’t have 48 mp. Just the iPhone 14 12 mp camera. But it’s still a big and welcome upgrade
You can get an iPhone 12 Pro Max instead for only 500$
Will be mega hit in India
Nobody buys an Iphone SE for gaming or power user stuff dude. You buy an Iphone SE for your grandma or grandpa and they don't care if it's IOS or Android, as long as they can call their daughter or the hospital.
Apple is really far behind with artificial intelligence. Rather than focusing on hardware they should be focusing on AI.
I just don’t get who would buy this when you can get an iPhone 14 refurbished for less
I phone SE can never kill Android because there is no innovation but it's degradation in all aspects expect chipset compared to other Android phones, people are not dumb anymore to believe in Apple 🍎 it's saturated many be it will look like phone XR 2025.
