happyfella from a Caps fans relocated to Phoenix now..... the Coyotes in many ways are what the Caps were when I became a fan back in 1976. Every dog has his day and no reason to think the Coyotes can’t have a run in the future! I can tell you that waiting 42 years was brutal, but it makes it oh so much sweeter when you get there! I can’t cheer for the Coyotes over my Caps, but when they get to the playoffs (and it’s coming), I can pull for them against anyone else! 😎

Thanks CAps for the incredible season. You guys had been knocked down so many times but you persevered, kept getting up and worked all the harder. At some point, you guys became brothers, no longer just a team but family and that camaraderie led the way. That is what makes champions. I am so glad I had the gift of seeing you guys win it all.

As a Wild fan, I was cheering for the Caps all the way! Their luck in the playoffs in the past mirrored the Wild and MN sports in general so I knew how Cap fans felt. Hoping my Wild can finally win it soon. The state of hockey needs a cup!

im a sabres fan and even seeing the caps win the cup made me shred a tear. when your not a big market team just wanting and hoping to see your team win at least one chip before you die is so overwhelming. im happy for caps fans and especially ovechkin. no way in hell i wanted to see that man leave this league without a ring. he was too important of a player to miss out on one. hopefully my sabres will win one someday.

Reirden May prove a good coach but I’m still in great belief that if they just gave trotz the contract he deserved it would’ve been back to back. I’m optimistic this year though as it seems like they bought in to Alan’s system and started good and ovi yet again dominates the league.

The entire Cup-winning roster dressed even if they wren't playing. Kempny was scratched for a concussion, and he was out there dressed in his equipment as well.
A player can still dress if he is suspended. Plus, Tom Wilson is a Stanley cup champion.

lol no this championship victory is far more memorable than the blues one was. even casual hockey fans will always remember this over the blues final. caps are just a way more star filled, exciting team. blues cup was a fluke caps will get another with this core.
