- Landed 5 Chinooks ( Spring ) and 1 hatchery coho using cured skein or roe as bait. Same fishing method with my previous video, floating skein or skein float fishing.
Who knew we'd get stillwater salmon on the vedder. Sick video

How big is your bobber and weight?
Thanks. I used 25 or 30 grams bobber, just adjust my pencil lead sinker if needed.

How can you detect the bite? I dont see your float sinked or maybe I see the wrong float lol
There’s a bobber down on every bites. But the thing is you have to be alert, coz that pool is very deep. You wont get them once your hook set is late.
@@WynricksFishingAdventures appreciate your reply. I fish the same spot but havent got luck yet. When fishing deep hole like this, the shorter the leader is, the better to detect bite? My leader is about 2ft. I feel like that I missed a lot of bites.
@@nhatran6888 I also used short lead, 1.5-2 ft. and 1.5 ft shot line. Some times you need to slide up bobber to get to the strike zone or when they’re deep but to detect the bites is just the same, fish will bring that bobber down. It’s the hook set that matters then.
