  • #Mold and #mycotoxin exposure can cause many health issues throughout the body. However, in my practice, some of the most common issues I see involve the nervous system and cognition; including #brainfog, #fatigue, #inattention, #headaches ,#anxiety, and #depression. While these issues can be signs of other health problems, they can also be symptoms of mold exposure. While there are many ways that mycotoxins can impact the brain, this video discusses three of the major types:
    - Mycotoxins & The Brain: Neurotransmitters 5:38
    - Mycotoxins & The Brain: Oxidative Damage 7:04
    - Mycotoxins & The Brain: Hormonal Shifts 11:00

After suffering 14 years I was misdiagnosed with Depression, Bipolar, AUTISM and ADHD! Had a terrible reaction to Strattera which left me with short term amnesia for several months... lost my job, bank took my car and the house... then the pandemic hit. I was homeless and couldn't get any unemployment because I was unable to work. I got some money from my house eventually and went to Amen Clinics for their brain scans. They said I had CPTSD and some sort of chemical exposure. Urine and blood tests found 4 different types of toxic mold from long term exposure. I knew immediately it was from my house, which when I remodeled it I found black mold in the kitchen and bathroom but thought nothing of it at the time.
After a 3 month detox regimen I began regaining all of my cognition and executive function. I feel like a brand new person today. I am 39 and have never felt better in all ways. It is a shame these facts are ignored. I had several doctors and psychiatrists deny my reality through this process. Horrible experience. I have lost all trust in mainstream medicine.

@@etphonehome4511 It takes some dedication, and I was under the supervision of a doctor, so this is not medical advice. Take glutithione lipimisol in the morning on empty stomach. Take apple cider vinegar 4 times per day (gummies are easiest). Take high grade bentonite clay and activated charcoal before a 45 minute hot epsom salt bath. Take the clay and charcoal right before bed as well. Have a smoothie for lunch with cilantro, spiralina, wild blueberries and ripe bananas. By the end of the first week I felt awful, but it was the mycotoxins leeching out. The process was not fun. It was recommended to do this for 6-9 months, but I only lasted 3 months. Within days after stopping, I began to clear up and gain clarity.

They tested him from 2015 up to and even on his deathbed and assured me it Wasn’t Fungal. I basically handed them the answer because They Were All Wrong. Molds actually made my MRIs look like a stroke and my neurologist looks at me upside down and backwards because according to him I shouldn’t be doing all I do, including my mold Angel page where I’m fighting for implementation of proper diagnostic s and testing and fir it to be covered by insurance.

@@carnivoredownunder Actually I’ve learned a lot over the past three years doing research on Peer Reviewed sites like PubMed, Science.gov, the library of medicine, and the National Institute for Cancer and it can. However, it requires the person be removed from the toxin, however so many buildings are affected. Fact is you don’t have to see or smell it for it to be present. A clean diet free of processed foods, sugars, and dairy are a great start. Usually Itraconazole along with specific supplements are required. There are an abundance of Profiteering doctors on the matter that are prescribing supplements and what’s known as binders to, supposedly, remove these toxins. Problem is if binders remove toxins they also bind snd remove necessary nutrients as well. These doctors Don’t take insurance and charge $300-1500 a visit plus testing and supplements. I’ve seen so many people bouncing back and forth between these doctors and their still sick 15yrs later, sadly. If these so called mold doctors believe in their treatments, then why aren’t they fighting to get testing and treatments into hospitals. Fact is mainstream medical testing is Grossly inadequate! My fiancé (vet for our cat) were tested from 2015-2019 on his deathbed including a spinal tap and Twelve plus Advanced Doctorates, who dismissed the peer reviewed scientific medical research, Assured me it Wasn’t fungal, but a private autopsy found that they were All Wrong and I and that research I had in hand were the only ones Correct. Toxicology screenings are the only way to distinguish between COPD and Asthma, and other diseases, and Aspergillosis caused by Aspergillus Fumigatus from water damaged buildings, but aren’t done on routine or teaching autopsies in NYS and others. Why Not? Because we have a Sick Care Model health system that generates astronomical profits for the Few at the expense of the masses! Aspergillus, and other molds have been linked to Blood pressure, cholesterol issues, diabetes, Cancer, Leukemia, Mast Cell, MS, testosterone and estrogen problems, endometriosis, Autism Spectrum disorders and more. Getting people well doesn’t fit the narrative, unfortunately. The National Institute for Cancer recently released Research showing Aflatoxin, one of the mycotoxins released by Aspergillus Fumigatus, link to cancer. Look up Aflatoxin at cancer.gov and see for yourself. Doctors are being discouraged from doing research and treating patients on this, with their licenses being threatened. Basically being indoctrinated, brainwashed, and trained to be big pharma sales reps in white coats. If people believe that big pharma is only capable of the opioid crisis they’re sadly mistaken. It’s Profit over People. Disgraceful, Disgusting, Despicable, and downright Diabolical. God help us all. 🙏🏼✝️💖 I’m very sick, had two botched colonoscopy biopsies in which I learned Labcorp and the labs they own Do Not do proper diagnostic testing for molds or mycotoxins, but there are labs out there that do. I had three separate tests from three different labs that verified the fact I have Aspergillus, Pennincilum, and Candida with numbers too numerous to count in my mucus and urine(save the money on the urine test because if it’s there your body is excreting it as designed), and the mycotoxins for those genus and species are in my blood.
Lastly my fiancé and cat weren’t having breathing issues at the end! They were basically emaciated, walking talking skeletons, and went in for constipation and dehydration and never came home. These illnesses are multi symptom, multi system disorders. All the best, and God help us all. 🙏🏼✝️💖

I was living in Ecuador from 2014 to 2022. The last year I was there I rented a beautiful condo in Cuenca. After 2 months the mold that had been there started bleeding through the fresh paint. It was in every single room. While in the hospital for that I was exposed to covid. I was hospitalized 2 more times.
My doctors sent me home to the states because they couldn't treat me. I arrived in diapers and a wheel chair. I didn't know my own name or even what country I was in. I had seizures and hallucinations. I still knew something terrifying was happening but couldn't verbalize it.
I was admitted to a secured Alzhiemers facility.
I started making improvements within a couple of weeks, I think because I was out of the moldy environment. After a month I was released. It's been 2 years now and although I still have some physical symptoms, my brain is functioning normally. As far as I know nobody comes back from Alzhiemers.
Side note, lost most of my hair too. It is growing back in nicely.
    Scary times.

I was diagnosed with mycotoxin illness after three years of absolute hell. I went from one doctor to another, doing every test imaginable, with no positive results. I had whole body symptoms, it was very neurological, but started with gut issues.
Woke up every morning feeling poisoned, had migrating pain all over my body, numbness, tingling, eye problems, nausea, and even a collapsed lung at one point. Had several stroke like events, but no stroke signs on imaging. I thought I was dying, or had something like MS, or a connective tissue disorder.
Finally saw a doctor who ordered a mycotox test and it was positive. I didn't believe it was the problem until I started the treatment. First thing was an antifungal medication, then a long term detox using binders. I cannot believe I feel as good as I do now, and I'm actually able to enjoy life again. I wish more doctors looked for mycotoxins as a possible cause for illness, but unfortunately the healthcare system is run by the insurance companies.

I'm a construction / inventor guy from Hawaii ~ I saw black mold (Stachybotrus Otra) on all the lumber we used there . The wood shows up wet from Canada. It sits for long periods in containers at shipping yards and comes from all over. It feeds on CELLULOSE. And it's spores can live forever. They never sterilize those containers. Black mold gets into the sheet rock and concrete. It goes righ through new paint in time ~ I've seen it grow on a concrete wall and it happens on pools. ONCE this stuff is there it's like RADON GAS. Sometimes if the building inspector sees this stuff they will condemn the place and label it a BIO HAZARD ~ Which means no one can live there and the owner is responsible for tearing the building down and disposing of the waste in very expensive special bio hazard disposal dumps. It's a killer. It makes your home UNLIVABLE and you can be sued for renting it out. BEWARE ~ I've lived in a few little shacks over there and we had to hire people who would come in with bleach and soap and then I would paint over the cleaned areas with fungicide added paint. But it ALWAYS CAME BACK ! Those were the early years before we had the internet and knew all this stuff about it. It's worse than you've heard unless you've studied it for hours and chased down these kinds of videos. It's all out now. It's a national disaster and I'm sure it's world wide too. You have to catch it before it gets really bad by tearing out the bad stuff.ALL OF IT !!

The old man had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's since the leak. He used to sit watching tv in that room because he didn't want to watch what his wife was watching in the other room. Since removing the moldy ceiling boards he has recovered quite remarkably. He couldn't maintain a conversation before but in about 8 months the difference is clearly night and day. When i removed the boards i also broke out in psoriasis, never had it before. I did 4 jobs in a row of a similar nature. I can only put it down to mold exposure as nothing else had changed. Psoriasis has started to fade slightly now but it's been a slow process.

Been dealing for years with anxiety issues, sore joints, extreme fatigue/ lack of motivation, brain fog, short term memory problems, lack of coordination, etc. Only just learned recently that all those are caused by black mold toxicity- & it's been getting steadily worse the last couple of years. Barely being able to form a mental list longer than two things, legs & back tight/ sore in ways where regular stretching just barely helped out- particularly at my hip joints & up my spinal column to my neck, every single thing in the world feeling like work/ an impossible task, often including things I actually enjoy doing, often not able to even form coherent sentences because I will forget common words/ phrases- sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for days or weeks at a time- &/ or become so mentally disorganized that I can't even figure out how someone who speaks my own native language would say what I am trying to say, becoming ravenous thirsty for no reason.
Trying to work on the issue. I know where the mold is &, sadly, it's mostly inaccessible & I can't afford to fix it, so all I can do is manage with some supplements, a bag of charcoal & construction grade face masks. It's helping a little bit, but but not as much or as fast as I'd like.

Can you afford bleach, water, a spray bottle, and perhaps a face mask/respirator?
If you got a leak, but little money you'll have to DIY it for your sake through research.
The biggest cost is finding out if you can shut the water with a valve or need to call water services (typically 150$).
Free help can be accessed if you can get a neighbor or some one you know involved for some assistance.
Mold can trigger Parkinson's disease, which is where your brain nerves slowly become damaged overtime as there is less and less dopamine produced. This heightens memory loss, increases fatigue, messes with sleep cycles, and can cause depression/demotivation. You definitely don't want that. It's best to take care of it quick!

100% spot on. Got both my parents. 7 years ago, apartment complex they lived in identified mold penetrated through the infrastructure. Notified the residents abatement had to be performed. There was a corner in their living room where mold was growing. My father refused the abatement program. All but begged them to allow abatement, gave them studies and reports. I work with toxicologist, chemist, risk assessors. My mother died 2 years ago from total systemic failure. This month, I had to locate my father to a nursing home. Diagnosed with sepsis. Doctors said his blood/brain barrier had been breached via a prolonged infection. He had been hallucinating for months, delusional. Confined now to a wheel chair. The apartment had become a surreal scene from the twilight zone and I had to vacate it. Afterwards the property managers said the apartment would be demolished and renovated.

yes, mold toxicity is very dangerous and lethal, once I identified the mold in the building I began to notice gradual impairment of their mental clarity. Subtle at first, then you begin to sense they were living in their own world. Rationality became rare. My father did pass in November. Prolonged exposure leads to permanent impairment. The building itself was still undergoing mold remediation when I completed vacating it. It was being done at night. Ran into the workers 2 in the morning, carrying 2x4 rotted beams from the upper floors where the swimming pool had breached and leaked. Spent millions on cosmetic surgery. Building needs to be condemned. I think of the generations and number of people exposed to different levels of toxicity. I affects entire populations, communities. Think of our grandparents, great grand parents. Asbestos and lead is another subject. @@alexcasey351

I’ve always dealt with some level of mental health issues, but nothing even close to that. I also felt like I was slowly detaching from reality, like I didn’t know what was real anymore, in a constant daze and cutoff from the world. I wish all doctors or every specialty knew how to recognize signs of mold and knew how to successfully treat it. How to remove mold - from personal experience this is really effective: Use bleach but you need to buy a thick one, not some expensive but watery brand. Then put small amount of it into a container - old yoghurt pot will do, and add a tiny amount of water. Take a paint brush a paint over the mold only. Wash the brush under the tap after few strokes to make sure the mold on the brush does not infect the mold-free part of the wall. Ventilate the room well and stay away the room for an hour or two. Depending on your climate, you may need to repeat the steps on weekly basis for a month or two. Mold loves moisture. To mitigate the chance of the mold thriving, never ever dry your laundry in your room. Ideally do not bring your wet towel into the room either. If you do, make sure you open your window while it's drying. Move your furniture or anything else away from the walls. Its really important that nothing touches the walls and they can breathe. If air cannot flow easily around them, mold will appear there in no time. Open your windows regularly. Minimum is 20 mins in the morning and 20 mins before going to bed but ideally though the day as well. Ventilation is really important. I've visited lots of houses here in the UK and they are often full of mold. But I have also noticed that people rarely open their windows. I was focusing on it this year and I haven't seen any of my neighbours in our cul-de-sac to open their windows. Few of them will open the tiny part of the window from time to time but that's not enougg for the air to move. Check your walls regularly and treat even small spots with bleach. Do not wait for it to grow big. If you can, buy a weather station. I found that if humidity in my room reaches 81%, mold starts to form near the windows. Knowing the humidity in your room will help you keep an eye on the issue. My house was full of mold but since keeping this regime, I have to deal with just small breakouts during rainy winter months. Good luck everyone!

Here in my country nobody believes me including my doctors and family members that all the health problems of my children are caused by mold. It happened after we moved into a moldy and very humid house. Before that my children never had any health issues. After a few years I could make my husband to leave that house. Their health has improved but still experiencing some problems. That's because we couldn't afford to throw out our belongings and brought them to the new place.

I got nail fungus, skin rashes, non stop migraines, extreme exhaustion, gut pain, & fatty liver.

My dogs & cat wheeze all the time. My Yorkie has skin tumors all over, my cat has 1 between her toes, & my little Chi started having siezures. All of us are on cbd, & now I started them on pau d arco tea, & colloidal silver also. I moved into that house May 2020 ( the day of lockdown) - July 2021. I moved 8/2021.

My job shows 8 strains of mold. I’ve been working there over 6 years. Within the last 3 years I’ve received high anxiety that I don’t understand. How do you rid of mold in the brain?

Why won't like these doctors acknowledge what your telling them.

How can one tell the difference between mold symptoms & what I have: menopause, metabolic syndrome & hashimotos?

Why isn’t there any information on mold on the internet and also I’ve had 2 doctors tell me “ mold doesn’t really do anything” why isn’t there any information on it?! Just recently I tested my home for mold and it’s really high for stachybatrys and penicillium asperagles very high actually. We did the worst possible thing which is close our windows for about 3 months straight because our screens got busted and it was fly season. All of the sudden my brain fog/fatigue/anxiety went through the roof and I’m dizzy all the time. I just had the mold removed with a remediation company and the mold inspector told me it might take a while for me to feel better. It’s been about a week but still think my house has it in the air. I’m really worried my wife is fine but I’ve been working from home for about 2 years and I think that’s the difference. Great video thank you so much for providing actual information on the subject and not just saying “ mold doesn’t do anything to you” ha also what’s the best way to detox? I’ve also been having panic attacks and crazy anxiety and I’m depressed all of the sudden I just have all of these symptoms. I’ve never had these in my life nor have I had allergies so.

I was also wondering if you could be a bit more specific about the kinds of symptoms people experience, like what do they say..? The explanations were useful and easy to understand but how exactly do you find your clients present their problems before you think they are due to mycotoxins..? Do you do a battery of tests?

Is it possible that you could get seizures caused from mycotoxins in the case where root cause for seizures is not found? Previous condition hormonal imbalance, high Prolactine and adenoma on pituitary gland

I’m curious of this as well.
I experienced something I think a seizure where I became light headed, my hearing became muffled, I dropped to the floor and had convulsions for less than a min. which I was semi conscious during thinking, “what the hell is happening”.
Wasn’t sure what it was at the moment and since my dr is dismissive I didn’t even think to get checked out.

Its like the more i find out about mold the more i wonder if perhaps some of the symptoms experienced by folks w long covid might be either in part, mostly or exacerbated from being stuck home for some extended period time and having 24/7 contact w some hidden household mold...?
And bc i feel so lousy & brain dead im actually prolonging my exposure by hardly having the breath to walk 12 steps.. until my HR reaches 275 & I go into gray vision which makes the thought of even temporarily, escaping exposure & physically leaving my "mold zone" completely impossible to even imagine
(I rent a hard to believe its not fictional s++hole dump, from a ghost landlord LLC but its the only roof i could find in budget- got here in September of 2019 and symptoms of long covid were obvious & debilitating after 3 months of lockdown (assumed i must have had a mild case of covid that led to long COVID but now im wondering...)

My dr said i have mold toxins in my body, i’m trying to buy a binder on Amazon. I felt very sick a year ago today. Started feeling fatigue, couldn’t sleep, leading me to insomnia, then anxiety, panic attacks, extreme dizziness, fear, depression. Just horrible, a living hell. So i’m still having a hard time believing toxins do all of this, plus I’m transitioning from perimenopause to menopause. So, I hope this binder that i’m buying helps, I just hope it doesn’t detox me from the good stuff in my body.

I was just straight up unable to sleep in my room AT ALL. I removed the moldy filter but still had the symptoms again.
I hope I can deep clean my room enough so that the toxins are gone.

I have been dx with ideopathic hypersomnia and raynauds. Ive had mold in my basement for a couple years, currently fighting in court for the owner to hire abatement specialists. Do you think these dx are actually from mycotoxins? My quality of life is severly deminished , this video gives me hope that its possibly fixable.

Im grate for this info Dr. Tessier. It is also Deeply saddening when I look back at my life which them makes me furious with the medical establishment and their useless practices, no offense. And that they continue to this day loading people up with nonsense drugs, completely ignorant of things even basic common sense would tell you.

@kathryn- I get soooo UPSET when I see plastic surgeons doing before/after augmentation social media posts. I see people suffer the aftermath, and it scares me to think that young kids are seeing these surgeries and thinking it’s 100% safe. While I believe people have the right to modify their body- I just wish people were told just how perfect they are in their natural bodies. Thanks for interacting with this video.
