I was looking at so many different screens and this one was the best choice. It’s more but it’s great. I play Battlefield 2042 and it’s an amazing view. If your video card is not up to it don’t bother. However if you have a gaming rig this is the one. I have no issues on web browsers reading text either. People complained about that. I saw zero issues. It’s beautiful. Even the speakers are fine. The backlighting is cool too it must be activated in the games menu. Overall great item.
what GPU do you have? I have an 2080TI and am not so sure about this screen....

I have the pny 4080 Rtx ,64 gb of ddr5 ram I9 13 series processor however any recent gaming card would work fine. I’m glad I made the choice on this screen. No issues.

Have this monitor for a few months now. Its great. One thing I dont like is if you are using it in a room with a TV (I have a Samsung TV near my monitor) it will pick up all IR remote control devices within 20 feet and theres no way to go around this unless you physically block the IR receiver on the monitor (I used a piece of aluminum foil cover) so be aware of that if you are putting it in a living room. Otherwise its amazing. Love the OLED.
In terms of desktop use/productivity/gaming, do you suffer a lot from burn in or can I rest easy? Usually in monitors I always use 40% brightness

You joke (maybe), but you'd be surprised just how exemplary these monitors are for day-to-day tasks. I'm a writer by trade, so I can have three windows open at once and not have to Alt-Tab back and forth. When I'm done, I'll boot up Photoshop and have all that space to arrange my toolsets, load After Effects and Premiere side-by-side, Ableton, whatever. I have never used a monitor that is so absolutely brilliant for everyday tasks.
Tried this monitor, but honestly when gaming the fishbowl effect made me nauseous and killed the immersion. Returned it went with the G8 34” OLED instead.
I'm curious how the audio coming off the monitor is... is that mentioned anywhere?

I'm So confused right now...I wish to upgrade my gaming monitors .I have looked at that many I cant decide. Do I get one large ultra wide, or multiple monitors (say around 34")..I am looking at getting the rtx 4090 with an I9, but even with that still wouldn't be able to run at run refresh rate.I have looked at that many reviews im a little over loaded, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The lack of DP 2.1 vs the last gen 1.4 being on this monitor is what really holds me back, other than that, Shes beautiful
dont quite need DP2.1 for a monitor with a resolution that is less than any 4k monitor.
DP 1.4 works fine even with 240Hz via DSC (Display Stream Compression)
Don't need DP 2.1 unless you're running a 4k super ultrawide or QHD super ultrawide beyond 240Hz
That is one silly thing to not include on a brand new top of the line - 'more expensive than a 65" OLED TV' - monitor, you're right. Same as with the other G9's.
You can do 5120x1440 at 240Hz with DSC though, yeah. But, wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to compress it purely for the sake of compressing it.
@@Nightykkagain as the other said you don't need display port on a 1440p monitor plus never ever compare price to tv because no tv has 240 Hz plus tv been out much longer then a monitor so basically OLED tech been out on tv Way before monitors got it

@qbking77, I didn't hear anything mentioned about how the USB hub works? Can you use it to share a keyboard and mouse between computers like the LG? In the manual it shows that you can connect 2 computers by using a y splitter usb cable. Have you tried that? I want to be able to split the screen Mac|Windows and share a keyboard, mouse, headset, camera.
Did you get the answer on this? I am also looking for this monitor to replace my dual monitors for a Mac setup.

What you have forgotten in the productivity side is when you split the screen into two separate monitors using both inputs if both are able to keep Gsync ON and the refresh rate I have the neo previous generation and that never worked I wonder if this iteration now improve that.

Which cable do u need to set the max resolution at 5120x1440 the display port cable that comes with the monitor or a hdmi cable i heard the hdmi can do the 3840x2160 resolution if use a hdmi cable but im planning on gettin this in november and i just want to make sure i have it set at the max resolution.
Displayport 1.4 cable, with a graphics card supporting DSC (Display Stream Compression), which would be the AMD 5000-series or above (not sure if lower supports it), or Nvidia 2000-series or above.
Not looked into the HDMI specs yet.

I'm thinking of something that can be used as a tv and a monitor, so 42" might be the right size. It should be mounted on something that can be moved up at when it's used as a TV and moved down to the desk height when being used as a monitor. Is there anything like that?

The monitor this one replaced was the AORUS FV43U mounted on the wall. I still think 43" is the sweet spot for a tv/monitor display. I do love this one though.

Do I have to connect my laptop with usb c -> USb C ? To power the other 2 USB C connectons for a bluetooth mouse and keyboard or headset?

Had this for about 5 months now and its been flawless... Gaming on Bf2042 is beautiful Utube vids looks great and even text is just fine.... So far nothing can compete..... except the bigger one that came afterwards but it wouldnt fit on my desk ...

I just bought the LG 45GR95QE-B 45" OLED because these are too wide for my taste but it looks like a nice screen specifically for games.
I have the lg too. I feel like the 45in is the sweet spot. I do want to try this though with my 4090
My LG got a big green line down the screen after a month of use so had to return it. Ended up getting this Samsung instead two days ago. So far I’m loving it

The only feature this thing needs to be an instant buy is dual screen mode where each half is driven by a different input. Unfortunately, it's not clear that this is an option.

Can you connect bluetooth speakers to this monitor and play all audio through the speakers? For example if I have a ps5 plugged into the HDMI and connect this monitor to bluetooth speakers, will the PS5 sound come through the speakers?
It has built in speakers, tho I will say PS5 doesn’t support ultra wide but you can still use it

ive had this and a monoprice and the monoprice is less finicky.
Can't get high resolution with the MacBook M3 Pro to save my life.. but I get the 5K resolution as soon as I plug the MacBook into another 49" monitor without any issue. I might have to return this thing.

How the refresh rate work on this oled? My understanding some input is capped at 120Hz. Like to know more detail on this. And how the microsoft word or excel look on it? I am hearing text is lacking. Overall, your oled look good.

I am talking about height 1440. why are they looking different than each other in height , lg looks taller than samsung in height, but it is said both of these have same resolution in height ...x1440. tell me the why?
Resolution has to do with pixel count not height.
For some reason mine stays at 120 Hz when I’m playing call of duty Warzone
Carefull with multiview. I have the G8 and today I was playing with setting up multiview and I got image retention on the left side of the screen. It went away after I turned off and back on after a few minutes.
That's really a letdown that you can't stream content and have your computer up side-by-side. I'd imagine a lot of people would want that for watching Netflix while doing work on the other half, for example

Just got one and having major issues
Part of me is like yeahh giant monitor awesome! Another part of me is like 😶 woah that is a huge monitor is that really practical or useable for every day stuff it seems like a lot. I mean if I could make like a floating minimalist kind of setup I mean yeah I guess? It just seems like way too much for sitting in a chair not that far from it lol
There are many videos cards and even NUC type PCs with dual displayport etc, that can drive two 2650x1440 outputs side by side.
i thought along the same lines, but now i can have the windows i need open all at once n not have to switch from screen to screen, and i can read all text clearly and i have it about arms length away so i can easily see the whole monitor without much turning my head, was going to wait on the 57" next month but figured THAT would be too much, i mean that woulkd be wider than my tv in my room, not taller but wider by 2". I love this monitor. I highly recommend it.

As someone who has used 32:9 monitors for the last 5 years, I can tell you this - once you buy one, you will never, ever go back. The amount of versatility these monitors offer is nothing short of spectacular, particularly if you pair it with PowerToys' FancyZones software.
@@MaestroDraven 😯 wait really? 🤔 I guess I'd better look into one then. I'm really wanting to ditch the two monitors just for a single monitor. Two monitors have been fine but I constantly find myself adjusting them to hide the bezels and I'm not really using them as much as I thought. For work I end up just using the one so I thought maybe I should minimize my setup and go one ultrawide. Thanks for the advice :)

@@DjangoGroen i know it can do MultiView with a PC n PS5, but im not sure about 3, technically that would then be PBP and from what i can find this one doesnt support that even though it says it does, i cant figure out how to set it up, cuz i want to put my PS5 in the middle of screen at 16:9 then the other half the screen split on either side for streaming/ recording on one side and the other i have my chat windows open,

that will not be it at all.... In Australia, you can only get this one from Samsung itself. No resellers. They are selling a different version with very similar names.
