The way you say capillaries fits with the rhyme, so if you said it like a US person, it wouldn't flow.

He's punching walls again, cohesive arguments evade him
    Eggshell temperament, no emotional regulation
Hysterical baby, his gaze always evades me
Doesn't know that he is pavin' the road for my escape way every time
    I scratch another line
    [Chorus]
I used to think of him a caring thing, knuckles on his drywall
I've tried all of the parenting
Descent into hysterically, rippin' into ribbons
The things he knows he isn't and severing ties
    [Verse 2]
Funny rationality, what would positions in power be?
Led by feelings that seemingly change hourly
I'm floored you ever got there
And when he snaps out of it
He drones in monotone, on a power trip
With telltale blood still running in his coward lips
From raising strokes that he hopes I'll cower in
    [Chorus]
I used to think of him a caring thing, knuckles on his drywall
I've tried all of the parenting
Descent into hysterically, rippin' into ribbons
The things he knows he isn't and severing ties
    [Bridge]
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
Never making good on silent threats
So that he knows that I have nothing
    Oh, but he has nothing
    [Chorus]
I used to think of him a caring thing, knuckles on his drywall
I've tried all of the parenting
Descent into hysterically, rippin' into ribbons
The things he knows he isn't and severing ties
    [Outro]
    I'm severing ties
    Severing ties

😂 and she’s British, as in England, you know… those who originated ENGLISH.
Bud this is the perfect example of why people think the US is arrogant “we say it this way so EVERYONE must” different countries can speak the same language and have different dialects and pronunciation.

@@Vampirelilianfitzroyyeah, tell that to non-Americans who try to correct Americans for their pronunciations and different spellings. There's a reason why we tweaked the English language, mainly because we wanted to have a sense of new identity that was different of the British Empire. Of course we're not going to pronounce it like the U.K. or any other common wealth nations. ☺️🇺🇸

I saw an American take someone to task the other day over their pronunciation of tinnitus, simply because they didn't pronounce it the American way. To Americans... You realise America is not the entire world right? You are 4% of the world's population. Calm down.

Also, taking artistic license with language is a thing. Even if ca-PILL-aries weren't a well-established pronunciation used all over the world, it's okay to play around with words.
