    No argument here... To justify purchasing the same Staccato model in the video, I just damn near emptied my safe of every FN I own and a CZ-P10F that I enjoyed.

    Mine was a retirement gift(aluminum frame).
    My career started in 95’, we had custom 1911s and Beretta 92s(Glocks replaced the berettas in 97’). I immediately ask if there was something that combined the best of the 1911 and capacity of the 92. Took over 25 years, but here it is and now beretta has the 92x.
    I’m at 6000 rds and zero issues. I accidentally installed the mag springs backwards after the first cleaning, they ran fine but didn’t lock the slide back.
    It’s a great gun. Is it worth it? If you have the money, yes.
    Cons; you will burn through ammo. Think of how smooth a Lexus rides compared to a dodge truck.
    I swapped the front sight for the Dawson precision tritium sight. The fiber optic sight broke during dry practice which I expected to happen.
    They offer an amazing blue label type program and their customer service seems to be amazing, unlike others.
    It’s very tempting to get the CS to replace my G19, but I won’t. I can conceal this except when I need to tuck in my shirt, which is never these days.
    Great review bud.

    • @JoeFromTheAfternoon
      @JoeFromTheAfternoon  10 месяцев назад

      The ammo issue is for real. I can burn through a 20 round mag and it feels like I’ve shot not 10 rounds. It’s insane. I was also thinking of a CS and currently carry a G19. Current gun does everything I need to as far as concealment so switching is a non necessity and more of a want. I’m on the fence

    I really enjoy my P dpo threaded.
    I also do not have a grip safety issue with the P (but will occasionally have my Colt, or Kimber hang up on me (speed bump beavertails on both of them).
    But great trigger apprx 4.5 lb clean break very small takeup, short crisp reset, and I like the way the polymer changes the recoil feel.
    I have a tricked out G19, and both the Colt and Kimber are very nice non premium pistols.
    But the Staccato P is my favorite. Want a C2 to mod next (V8 port, flat med trigger, and the Damascus finish from DSC)

    I just received my new Staccato XL. Ordered it direct with the Hero Discount. It's nicer than I expected. After shooting the XC and the XL, I decided to go with the XL. Had a couple issues with the XC jamming up after a certain amount of rounds without constant oiling. I figured I would send it to Vulcan machine works for porting if I wanted to go that route, anyway the best 2011 style firearm is by far the Dan Wesson dwx, I got mine for $2,100 sent it out for an optic cut and for under $2500,, it's a serious shooter

    For 2500 you can buy a much better weapon system. At the end of the day it’s just a 9mm handgun. For that money you could’ve bought and decked out an AR and smoked any dip shit with a staccato from 300+ yards away
