- What’s up my Guns and Butter family I’m back with another video showing you how I installed my atlas gun Works trigger into my staccato P tux. Please please don’t kill me in the comments because this was my first time actually breaking down a 2011. I honestly expected this to be 10 times harder as I am usually only working on Glocks and other striker fired guns but to my surprise it was low key easier lol

It did me bad lol

Excellent video. Thank you for doing that!

Very well done. Thank w
Glad you enjoyed it
Good job bro!
Thank you
You did a great job and the instructions where on point at each part of the video. You should ne commended young man. I hope that you take your talent to educate others and get them into shooting. Especially our black communities.
Big Pressureee💪🏿💪🏿💯💯
Yesssir let’s see how fast I get these shots off now
I watch a lot of how to vids and I have to commend you bro! You did a fantastic job for being your first time. Thanks for posting! Where did you get your trigger from??
I appreciate that a lot and the trigger came from atlas gun works dot com
This along with another video helped me install a Red Dirt trigger into my C2. I'd never taken a 1911/2011 down that far despite having owned one for over a decade. Thanks for the video, man!
Glad I was able to help. How’s that trigger feeling ?
Mr. Andy do you mind sharing the other video you used? We all would greatly appreciate it. This one is a tad incomplete.
The stock trigger is the perfect length for me, but I wish they would make the same one in an anodized aluminum. Excellent video tutorial btw.
Thank you. And yes Metal > plastic

Great video! It’s great to learn to do your own gunsmith work.
Yes especially when it’s a new platform
As someone that done that many of times u did good bud
Thank you man I was so nervous lol
@@GunsandButterTV if your ever looking for upgrades pointers my channel is based around that happy to help
@@SkipsGunz nice I just subbed. Dope collection my guy 🔥
@@GunsandButterTV only getting better from here big things for the channel this year
Thanks for sharing I actually just took down my staccato C2 for the first time ever yesterday as I'm sending my grip to be stippled.. I also just bought an atlas trigger I figured while I have it apart I might as well replace the trigger with a flat face. What size trigger did you buy the short, medium, or long?
Long but I have massive hands
@@GunsandButterTV u know what they say about dudes with large hands?
@@hrlkt3413 they wear big gloves.
Did the Atlas change your sear engagement at all?
Great tutorial.
No not at all
I'm going the extra mile this Christmas season and throwing a cheely e2 commander grip and flat faced trigger (atlas or red dirt, haven't decided) on my C2. Going to be my lifelong concealed carry gun, so might as well give it all the fixins.
Is the the medium or the long trigger shoe? thanks I wear 1xl to 2xl gloves and am in between picking those two.
Go long. I love it
great vid, BUT.. THOSE FRICKEN GLOVES!! Drives me nuts!!
Any specific reason you changed trigger? Better performance or just cosmetic? While you had it apart, no polishing to make lighter pull? I only ask because that's what everyone seems to strive for.
I have longer fingers so I’m able to get a better finger pad placement on the longer trigger shoe as opposed to stick version. Aka I got big hands
Where did u get your slide done
Does rotating the trigger on the bow, change over travel? Or just move the trigger in the gaurd?
Just moved it in the guard the screw adjust the over travel
This shit looks hard bro. I cant believe this was your first time! Your a 2011 natural! Lol I’m a little nervous to do this myself just because of all the separate pieces , i might get a little overwhelmed. So was the atlas trigger worth the upgrade? The oem trigger is way too heavy.
It isn’t as bad I was a bit nervous it it’s legit a couple less pieces than a Glock
Worth the $60 bucks fr
@@GunsandButterTV bro I’m definitely thinking about it. I just struggle with trigger jobs. I’ve done it once on my p365xl and it was a pain in the ass. So tedious.
It’s legit easier than a Sig I had issues with my p320
@@GunsandButterTV yea i might give it a shot. Ain’t gonna get done any other way.
Did yours come with the shoe?
Thanks Brother! Wakanda Warriors Unite!
Does this trigger upgrade improve trigger weight pull or travel?
Yes and no the weight is affected by the mainspring weight and the recoil spring balance
The 3 finger spring is your sear spring.
Yup
Was this a large flat?
Yup
First
The right side safety doesn’t go through the hammer fyi
I would never do that in a 2k plus gun, you void warranty, if your gun blows up for any reason, they will not replace it or fix it.
This doesn’t void warranty unless u modify the grip module . This trigger was drop in ready and didn’t require any filing. some do some don’t.
I'm not looking forward to this, I'm thinking about taking to the gunsmith and let him deal with it.
Give it a try first. Learn the platform. Worse case let the gunsmith try it afterwards.
@@GunsandButterTV I should but I did an ignition kit and trigger swap on my RIA double stack 1911 earlier this year and it was a pain. I lost the plunger assembly and I couldn't get the new leaf spring set properly.
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
You know I gotta upgrade everything lol
@@GunsandButterTV ain’t no fun if you can’t make it you own 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
