How would you know the pressure sensor needs replacing and not the actual DPF?

Use the data available for your individual car and if you're still unsure replace the sensor first given the massive difference in cost.

If you disconnect the negative battery lead and remove the pressure sensor to spray dpf cleaner down the tube do you need to have the pressure sensor re-program? 👍🏿

Some may need to be reprogrammed/recalibrated but there's no blanket answer.
