      I cant remember who said it, but, NEW means “Never Ever Worked” until proven otherwise. What a numpty, changing a part without testing its actually working.. Great job Jimmy, that knocking can drive anyone crazy and i bet hes been quoted 1000s to fix it, great job 💪👍🏻👏👏👏

    Fantastic Video mate. Got myself a 2012 D5 gone into Limp. Got a TopDon dongle and it was reading fine @ around 10hpa at Idle up to around 80 under load then it showed as...get this.....65 thousand 500 and 35hpa, then today, it's Zero and will barely go so safely going to assume sensor too. I'm thankful for your vid as i thought I'd need to get under the car and dismantle the exhaust. :D Unless it's different on 2012 D5?? :O

    Professor O'Rileys, have you EVER received any bonus pay for any of your more than expected repairs? Have you ever got any extra pay for any unusual achievements? When was that? How much did you get?
    My experience is even if I deliver 10 times more than expected or solve the problem in 1/10 of the time expected, I only really seldom get anything for it at all. They like that I can walk on water, but not as much as they want to pay any extra for it.

    What kind of sensor did you install? original by Volvo or by the manufacturer ?
    Thanks

    • @aleemcummins2893

      It was a DPF pressure sensor Jimmy fitted for me in this video. A non Volvo one from Bennetts. I can add the details here later if you like

    Hi Jimmy great videos, would you please give me a little advice, I have a 2007 xc90 d5 with dpf issues going into limp mode with door filter full on dash only when I give it some beans, I’ve scanned with Vida and looked at live data and the dpf pressure sensor is reading at idle 13hpa and at 4000rpm 132hpa, do these look out to you, if so would the sensor be to blame many thanks.

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes a bit high

    • @ryanevans8033
      @ryanevans8033 11 месяцев назад

      @@ORileysAutos thanks for the reply very much appreciated, later on I took it for a drive with the live data running and the dpf pressure sensor was reading 600hpa, does that mean the sensor is knackered or is it reading that high because the dpf may be blocked but apparently there’s only 2g of soot in there?
