    Great result, have had to use that method before off drilling a hole before the cat when it was blocked.

    One of the previous replies mentions it... when you started the millage was 133968 by the time the test drive to verify the cat clean had worked the millage was 134839.
    871 miles difference, thats one long test drive. Would be really interesting to have less edited video's that cover the process to see what worked and what didnt :)

    Them engines go forever. I have 1 I look after with 250k on the clock and still going strong

    Great videos!!, I have a 2007 d5 xc90, which recently has gone into limp mode, with fault code ecm1517 turbo control pressure too high, and soot filter full on dash board, I have vida and tried a forced regen but it aborted after 1 hour, first thing in morning the fault isn't on the dash but if I put my foot down it goes into limp mode with soot filter full, it also has a bit of a fluter noise when revved, what do you think is the issue, thanks

    Hi. Can u explain how u test the boost pressure solenoid? U put your vacuum tool to the first pipe of boost pressure senzor an the second pipe must be covered. So when u pupm the vacuum tool the pressure must be mentained.

    hello, im sorry im a bit late but in the video at 9:31 i can hear the turbo hiss, i have it in my car and was wondering if it is normal, can send a video of it, kinda conserned because mine sound alot more. thanks!

    I have a similar loss of power on my Xc70 clean the dpf and egr
    Still the same even cleaned map sensor still no joy the car will only 70 and it's slow getting up there
    Also have on the messages engine system service required and engine system service urgent

    Would this issue also cause the exhaust to kick out black smoke when the throttle is pressed hard ??

    Thanks for sharing your diagnostic process.. Brilliant videos..please keep them coming in 2022...what's part number is the pump you use for the cat clean..how much liquid do you use..

      It's a Laser multi purpose mini pump. 2 litres

      The only laser mini pump I can find is
      a 1 litre the one in the video looks bigger hehe

      I have a bmw 525d the soot level always reduces to around 2g after regen but Ash level always been around 50g is this when you need to use chemicals to reduce.. the dpfs that you are cleaning is soot and Ash levels high?

      @@geoff3172 Ash levels can be harder and sometimes impossible to clean. Ash levels increase with age and mileage. If you set fire to a barrel of wood it will burn down but leave a small amount of ash. DPF is a similar situation during regeneration process. The more often a regen occurs the ash content will increase. We can flush to decrease this in most cases
