Just a note: if you want to soften springs, generally speaking you stretch them in length then cut off the extra. shortening them really only adjusts ride height. It's really the size of the wire and how stretched they are that controls softness or hardness.

I'm smack damb in the middle of 2 builds at the moment. But I'm sure this will at some point make it on my list. The Axial Capri is turning out to be much more challenging of a build then I expect. Not as in complicated but as in cost. To put all the shiny parts on in the right places and adding rear steer is well Tomley I don't have to tell you. If anyone else is thinking about doing it my suggestion is move the plastic front to the back and buy a metal (aluminum) axle for the front. And later upgrade the back. It may not look the best but it will save you a few hundred in the beginning. That is if your going to do metal axles . I am and and I didn't. Wished I had took my own advice.

What an excellent build montage - it must have made the build take quite a lot longer. I sometimes wonder how you manage to juggle full-time employment, parenthood and your channel - you must be very good at time management! This initial run video is very gratifying to watch - it´s very satisfying to see how well the trcuk rides with proper shocks.
Thanks Del. You'll notice my top changed about 3 or 4 times in this video lol.. it was recorded over about a week. I'm very good at time management now...lots of practice haha. That montage is probably the biggest file I've ever had to work with...glad you enjoyed, luckily the recording was the long bit... the editing wasn't too bad...and the song was quite forgiving as it was quite a high tempo.

Chelsea Tractor - four wheel drive that never see's off road use. My land cruiser is decidedly not a Chelsea tractor, it's been stuck up to the transfer case on more than one occasion and had a river washing up the windscreen at Drumclogg in Scotland. We'd driver along that river the day before, the tent got flooded out from the rain storm over night.
