Click the installer files for Kindle Previewer and 7z to install even though I skipped this step in the video. Try to run KCC from the Windows desktop. Ignore what I said about c drive, it just means default location.

Is there a way to send large manga files to kindle email? My kindle doesn't seem to connect to my computer no matter what cord I use. Help please 🥺
@@elloisebrielle2829 What kindle and os do you have? If you have kindle scribe and macos you need android file transfer to usb load.
You can use Send to Kindle website which has 200 mb limit. Use epub 200 output format instead of mobi.

grate video man def life saver and money saver buti have a issue with the cover i left the kindle plugged in but the cover didint show up help and other workaround is a bit messy lol
Are you using a Kindle Scribe? If so, that messy workaround with a flash drive is the only way. You can do the advanced method with a virtual flash drive.

Hi, I have a kobo clara and was wondering if I would still need to download kindle previewer to be able to use KCC or would KCC run fine without it ?
No, kobos don’t need it. In fact, another comment has a kcc version that doesn’t need 7z either.
I tested the Panel View option which zooms into each corner of the page (when left unchecked/checked), but I would like the option for Guided View (zoom into each panel). Is this option available? If not, are you familiar with any tools that provide this capability? Thank you for the helpful tutorial! :)
Kcc doesn’t support it. I use a kindle scribe so zooming isn’t necessary. I don’t know any tools for panel by panel, maybe kindle comic creator or kindle create.
Or buy from Amazon store.

Not sure what you mean by "fits on the margin." Maybe click the upscale box? Or play with the cropping mode feature? Remember that PW5 was renamed to PW 11 in KCC v6.
Where can I download the mangas? I want to download the entire one piece series on my kindle but I dont know where to get started :(
My favorite source is Humble Bundle. They have super high quality pdf sources. I use mutool to convert pdf to CBZ and use that in KCC.

hello I would like to manage my files in a separate external storage but I don't know how to change the final mobi file directory. it pop up an error everytime I put the file not from external storage the only way it convert is when the og file come from my internal storage. please helpp
Shift+click the convert button to change output directory. Hover mouse over the convert button for details.
I do not recommend converting directly onto your kindle, kcc is doing a lot of processing until the final mobi is made.
What OS are you using? Sounds like a permission problem. Maybe try running it from source if you have the technical skills.

its saying that the file is corrupted but when I transfer it to internal storage and put it in kcc it magically work (the thing is I don't want to "stress" my laptop storage cuz its a continuous install and delete of GB so I wanted to do the "dirty work" on my external storage)
@MarkAndrewBautista Try restarting your mac. My external drive is APFS and works fine.
Hi I have an oasis 10 and I have problem with showing the cover when I upload the files into the kindle. During the conversion with KCC I had the kindle plugged. Any advice?Thx
Does it show in the KCC window "Kindle detected, uploading cover" when it finishes converting?

@@forceoriginal0175 Weird. In that case, I would try doing the cover workaround linked in the readme for the Kindle Scribe.
I did not use calibre, I have to use it?
Now I try to do it importing the mobi files into calibre and then to the kindle

It installs on the c drive by default, so if you don’t know what it means just install normally. readme on website slightly updated.
Unfortunately i don't see the kobo libra colour is there any way to add that?
Just use the Kobo Libra 2 profile with the color mode option checked.

Hi, I'm getting this error "Failed to extract archive. Try extracting outside of KCC". I don't know the reason. It's a cbr manga
On Windows, right click the cbr and use 7zip to extract to /.
On macOS, right click the cbr and use The Unarchiver to extract.
Should give a more detailed error. Otherwise try restarting pc. Or use the extracted folder directly in kcc

hello, i installer kindlegen and even installer kindle previewer on the C program but KCC still does not support mobi files
Can you try placing kindlegen.exe next to kcc.exe?
Or restart kcc/pc.

Main problem with Calibre is not supporting full screen.

hey man amazing vid but i had some trouble. I did everything but when i went to drag and drop my manga to convert it in kcc it shows unsupported file type for C:/ etc.. i downloaded all of those files from hakuneko pls help
What file type is your file? Are you using kcc 6.1?

it seems that i cant even download it on my windows. it just says "_ is not commonly downloaded make sure to trust _ before you open it... yet it wont give me an option to trust it. help please.
Maybe try a different browser?

Kindle PW 11 is the latest paper white.

It was working fine on my old laptop but on my new laptop kcc is not able to find kindle previewer i don’t know whats wrong
Did you install kindle previewer? When you click the installer, does it show in the first window an install location starting with C?
@@eink-reviews yes i have downloaded it and its in C but still it says to download kindlegen i put them in the same file but the issue is not resolved

Are you running KCC from the desktop?
Is kindlegen.exe and 7z.exe at these locations in File Explorer?

If they are, try copying them next to KCC.

Is there a way to accomplish this on Chromebook??
I don’t have a Chromebook, but I’ve heard you can do it in Linux mode.
Google search “flatpak Chromebook” and see if the flatpak version of kcc works.
You can also google “appimage Chromebook” maybe that works with the appimage version of kcc.

What OS? Anything older than windows 10 64 bit is unsupported.

@@eink-reviewsit loaded up properly using the link … but the pdf I just used pdf and it couldn’t pull the pictures and trying to get cbz install but it’s like 30-40 mins

Did you install Kindle Previewer? Did you change the default install location from the c drive?

It keeps telling me to install Kindlegen(link) and i click it and it redirects me back to the main website
i downloaded the prerequisites of kindle previewer and 7 zip first in c drive but it still shows up with the same message.
@@Thatfanatic You need to click on Kindle Previewer to install it first. You need to click both 7z and Kindle Previewer to install them first, don't just move the file.

I'm trying to download the 7zipunar through mac and I'm unfamiliar with home brew all together. I tried to copy and past the "brew install p7zip brew install unar" code into Terminal's Homebrew Window and have gotten a "zsh: command not found: brew" response. Can you please provide more insight? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Update: With a bit of troubleshooting, I found that I have to first have Xcode Command Line Tools installed to my mac through Terminal before I can even install Homebrew and the consequential 7zip or unar. Is there any other way to access 7Zip and thus, KCC, without having to go through Terminal for mac?
@@eink-reviews My laptop didn't have enough space to download Xcode and that has to be manually installed to my laptop in order for any other Homebrew commands to work in Terminal. I got a notification saying that I needed 15 MB to install it and only had 2--not willing to erase everything on my laptop for this one app. Not even erasing previously downloaded PDFs/files would free up that kind of space.
