when I moved to America I was shocked by the ads for medications "Ask your doctor if this medication is for you" . B1tch! If I have to ask my doctor if I need that meds, I'm at the wrong doctor. My doctor should know from the get go if I need it or not. And if I have to ask for it I should charge the doctor for the visit because I'm doing their jobs
As overwhelming as the med ads are, they are a net positive. They spread the word about the HPV vaccine, educating the public that the virus is the leading cause for cervical cancer--not common knowledge before. There are HIV prevention meds we could only have dreamed possible in the 80s, and the frank approach of the ads to the idea of gay or casual sex encourages safer behavior as well as inspiring pharmaceutical companies to put money into developing new drugs for a formerly hidden market. Doctors can't know everything, and they're not immune to influence by sales reps, so if they suggest a medication, it's not necessarily because it's the best option. You might see an ad for a medication that potentially addresses your issue better than one you're taking. You can research it, decide to talk to your doctor about it, and you both are a little bit better educated.

We will keep an eye out for your tour.
Came here for the laughs but this was also really touching on top of being funny. The best comedy has heart.
The 2 best sets I have seen in my 54 yrs have both been this year, and both Josh Johnson.
"You matter." Loved that and the Boeing joke, genius.
Thank you. You make me happy. I laugh out loud and fill with joy every time I need to when I click on your videos. Please never stop.
What's even funnier is actually it wasn't Kool-Aid it was Flavor Aid...
😂
I didn't want to be all Ackchooalleeeee, but yeah it was, haha
"It's important to say their names" - damn right!
Josh is not a comedian. He's just a REALLY funny human being. I love when he "breaks character" to give us deep stuff.
If you have a chance to see this man perform in person do not miss the opportunity for a terrific evening of comedy and laughter.
That analogy between the CEO who leaves the Company with a Golden Parachute and the Captain who parachutes out of the plane was brilliant!
Pure Comedy Gold, that does not only make you laugh.
It makes you THINK!
Duuuuuuuude this set was amazing! Your punchlines hit as hard as Carlin or Pryor, laying down truths and then hittin hard with reality
The speed that you come up with such high quality material is remarkable. You're fantastic.
Josh, I would not know anything about the world without you! Thank you for being my #1 news anchor!🤣💯💯 Luv ya
I can’t possibly be the only one waiting for him to address the Drake & Kendrick Lamar situation 🤣🤣🤣
9:16 geez you got me crying again. I been having a weepy time of it today. Feeling not necessary at all. Thank you for this message. You’re beautiful. I appreciate you so much. I’m a sad 59 yr old contemplating my future. I’m angry because I’ve been employed my whole life, since I was eleven, and I’m not doing well financially. I’m was watching you to cheer up and instead the universe, god, the head Spirit, whatever you call it has you preaching at me. I’m humbled and grateful. This mattered a lot to me.. and I hope you remember that and keep, speaking from your humorous heart. It can save a life.
Oh hell, you just gave the punchline, I’m dying..that was a perfect metaphor. 😂
This world needs more Josh Johnson.
Josh is such a gifted, natural storyteller. And kind as well. I really appreciate hearing some encouragement from someone out there. People have become so antisocial and aggressive that any hint of gentleness or empathy is like a well in a desert.
We love you Josh . Thanks for telling us how important we are . Those little bolts are more important than they know ❤😂
“Do you know about bunker people?”
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
I’ve been watching “bunker people” for 60 years. Now we call them preppers, but they are still pathetic.
I knew the "drank the Kool Aid" was coming but it still got me 🤣
Same here! Josh is so great at the set up and delivery of his jokes! 😂😂😂
Im acquaintances with a Boeing Engineer. She just focuses on her project and ignored all this going on. Smart woman.
Yeah... Boeing CEO, Cap'n Sully that shit!
This is the smartest comedy I've heard in a very long time!
Hell yeah! I got a haircut today AND this dude rips!
Life is abundant!
Brilliant!! Thanks for providing some levity for us. You're one helluva writer...much respect.
Huge fan. You are so wise and tuned in. ❤
How he landed that Boeing joke took me out 😂😂😂😂
You are a comedy genius! Not just comedy, but motivational.
I saw you on the Daily Show and decided I needed to know more about you. Thanks for the comedy and the life lessons. Watching from Beaumont, TX.
Stay safe and dry and hopefully not burning up out there!
That is true, but kool-aid took the rap. You ever hear anyone say "he drank the flavor-aid"? I'm thinking nope.😊
Josh has the best new material every week. Thank you.
