James joins the guys on a lads night out , but bring along teenage girlfriend Gena and her exotic dancer friend Kenki. The other guys drool over her........
This was my first time seeing this sketch. That was gold. It was the unexpectedness of it, very naturally delivered, and his reaction after saying it was perfect. This is one of the funniest sketches i've ever seen.
Awesome. As a 62 year-old man, I can so relate to this! When I originally saw the end, I was so curled up, I missed the next sketch. It has to go down as one of the best comedy sketches ever, one that perhaps only men really understand.
I saw that episode one Christmas ('98 maybe?) and I was at college at the time. I went back to college in January and, very weirdly, the girl playing 'Gena' (Charlie Higson's girlfriend) was in the ceramics studio having just started some exchange course thing. I've never seen so many blokes take a sudden dedicated interest in pottery and kilns... including me, I have to admit.
@@shelbyvillerules9962 Well, no. I think she may have been slightly baffled as to why I should point out that I'd seen her along with the rest of the British viewing public on The Fast Show, but it was enjoyable watching the other guys glancing at/drooling over her.
I am fairly certain this sketch was never shown at the time because it was supposedly too offensive to women. You might be thinking of the sketch that preceded this one, where they are playing golf and 'Gena' shows up - that one was shown. I believe this one has shown up since in best-of compilations.
The thing with the Fast Show was that it was the same exaggerated characters repeating the same catch phrases.............................and it was bloody brilliant! 😂
I’ve worked in nightlife for years. Whenever a promoter puts a student night on a Saturday instead of a weeknight stuff like this happens constantly. 3 drunken middle aged men all fawning over a 21 year old student as if they have a chance.
I've seen it a lot too working pubs but you'd be surprised what happens. Some girls I knew in uni said this happens and on the odd occasion they'd take it further with one or two of em knowing they're probably giving these guys a real time to remember and they got a kick out of it.
I was level 42 stoned the first time I saw the Fast Show! I thought it was me! Then I saw it again straight and I realised it was them! Never bettered!
It did eventually, when the BBC did a sort of retrospective as soon as the last series finished. All of the middle-aged guy sketches were shown interspersed. Along with the Earthquake sketch.
It wasn't part of the main series but it made it into an "unseen" clips show shown for the first time on a Fast Show themed night. Also included the "I love being king, it's the greatest job in the world" sketch (Day) and the angry driver who kept shouting from his window (Williams)
I’m still trying to figure out what age they are supposed to be? When she says one of them looks 40, its taken as a bit of an insult. But i think they all look older than 40?
Correct - the programme was called "You Ain't Seen These, Right?" and featured other sketches like the Road Rage Man, "I Love Being King, It's the Best Job In The World" etc.
@@TL.... Yoland(e) Davis to save confusion, she appeared in Heartbeat plus a couple of movies, a steamy lesbian drama Siren (1995) and Lighthouse (1999) with James Purefoy, but nothing after 2000.

That's why I love the "sorry I've cum" library sketch. it's sudden and way beyond what you were expecting....
Made my Friday nights in the nineties.....end of the working week, a curry, a voddy or two and the fast show…good times.
stupidlittlebat I was still in school then. But that sure sounds like the good old days.
Made my brightime. I come back to cave after inventing fire. A raw sheep leg, mud water and the fast show... cave times
You can't beat a great night in!
@@geraltofrivea7759 unless it's a great night out great mate.
This an Big Train!
Great programme. Comedy gold. Never get bored with the Fast Show.
Honestly I would say, one of the best punchlines in History...absolutely out of the blue.
1:36 Simon Day taking a drink of his pint even though he's crying with laughter!! Absolute brilliance!! :-D
Not the first time. He smirked in a Suit You Tailors sketch and he could be heard laughing off-camera in a She's Different With Boys sketch.
yes..and his hand punch of celebration when she says he looks younger than the other guy...:)
you know it's a good joke when you can hear the mic peak at the audience laughing
Canned laughter mate🙄
Simon Days reaction. Clearly corpsing... they just carry on. So funny 😆
Paul`s delivery was spotless.
he never misses.
@@robjob9052
"he never misses"
- Which is why she should've said yes!
Bloody rediculous, there should have been a health warning before Paul came out with that, I nearly choked to death on the apple I was eating.....
If he'd stayed there a few minutes more, she might have said yes! 🤣
What makes you think that?
Just watch Simon between 1.30 and 1.40 - trying not to laugh and having a crafty swig at the same time!
Never noticed that before!
That is priceless.
This sketch is such a classic and always been one of my all time favourites from the fast show🤣
Greatest punchline in history
This was pretty much the pinnacle of BBC comedy before it all went wrong.
Sad but true
I watch the BBC "comedy" on Facebook & it's bloody awful.
Not a patch on the classic heyday.
@@SteveGodrich it’s also bollocks.
The Office was superb.
Ok boomer 🙄
Before it went woke and the modern day puritans got their tentacles into it

Nah women get it too.
It's probably my favourite comedy clip ever.
The best sketch in the show!
Absolutely feckin hilarious 😂
brilliant! Thank you for sharing!

Best line ever.
Surely one of the best sketches ever !!
Have a word with yourself mate
1:20 and following is perhaps the most explosive laugh ever from a studio audience. :)
"I didn't mean to say it, I just meant to think it."
Best show ever
Greatest line in comedy.
well he said what everyone was thinking
The years when Jim Carrey was a touchstone of youth culture.
Typical fast show, comedy gold!
my husband still does it after 32 years of marriage
This is written by her husband by the way ha ha
Can you say that on here? 🤔
If you enjoy it, let it roll. A healthy love life = healthy marriage.
Just not on you 😉
The fact that you're obviously cool with your husband asking 19 year old girls if he can cum over their tits shows you have a strong relationship! 😂
That was an amazing burst of laughter, I bet they are glad they didn't need to do any retakes!
I bet they did a few :-)
@@AlfieGoodrich no cos day is crying. This is one take.
Superb. I laugh every time I watch it.
I didn't mean to say it...I just meant to think it. Excellent.
I’m glad someone said what we were all thinking!

I love how Simon Day had to cover his face because he couldn’t stop corpsing!
Love it that Simon Day has to hide the laughter 😂😅🤣

comedy was great in the 90's

Gina (the girlfriend wearing red) is Anna Walton (princess nuala, hellboy 2) amongst other credits.

And "Greatest King in the world", and angry commuter. I think they were shown on a Fast Show Night on BBC2
brilliant! i just exploded.x
1:21 LOL
"I'll get me coat"
Hey Kinky, can I get you a drinky ! ! XD
13 years later and you'll read that on people's Tinder bios as one of their interests. "Mummy, how did you and Daddy first meet?"
This definitely made it on BBC2 because I clearly remember watching it with my mates, with similar explosive hilarity.
It wasn't part of the main series but it made it into an "unseen" clips show shown for the first time on a Fast Show themed night. Also included the "I love being king, it's the greatest job in the world" sketch (Day) and the angry driver who kept shouting from his window (Williams)
Aha. Simon Day's clearly trying not to laugh.
@comedyklips
This definitly aired, but I think it was outside of the regular runs of the fast show
Yes it was originally pulled from the show as being too offensive but I think it's had an airing since.
Every man thinks it about every girl he sees, let's be honest.
Classic
Fkn brilliant. When we had a humour 😅
WOW. What gorgeous woman. ❤❤
You don't get many of them to the Pound these days!
Bloody hell. 😆
Classic its what we are thinking anyway😅
Simon Day looking very like Jimmy McGill in this sketch.
F in class 👍😂🤣
Perhaps he meant it as a compliment.
Is that Charlie Higson wearing the leather jacket?
Yea but don’t ignore CHs great “chill out” ! 🙆♀️
The best
Queue it up to 1:19 and sit back. I never laughed so hard in all my born. No comedy since has ever made me laugh so hard as this brief scene.
Alex Greene I know, it's quality! I still crease up every time!
I'd forgotten that line. Hilarious. Then Simon Day corpesing makes it even better.

OK... I feel pretty roasted

Who is it playing Kenki? I recognise the voice....

She's a dancer on Strictly now
who is "Kinkey"?
I was thinking the same about her chest.

@paranoidpfanclub
They probably chopped it out for the States.
Correct - the programme was called "You Ain't Seen These, Right?" and featured other sketches like the Road Rage Man, "I Love Being King, It's the Best Job In The World" etc.
And also the Embarrassed Dad, and the guy who's always tired because he was "up all night shagging"
We were spoiled back then
the original #MeToo
You’d never see comedy like this on tv these days.
So, in your imaginary world, comedy doesn't talk about sex anymore 🤔🙄
