I feel your pain. I was buying most of my parts & tools from Chain Reaction Cycles and Wiggle from the UK but they first ceased export of Shimano stuffs, and then only in the last few months stopped selling outside of the UK it would appear due to Brexit, you might be able to get some from Amazon or Ebay maybe? Hope you can eventually find some parts.

Hello greetings, I have a Merida Crossway 10 2013 bike, with Shimano Altus gearbox, I would like to upgrade, it is a bike that I really like, could you help me by recommending parts for it? Which cassette could I use in it?

Hello fellow Crossway fan! They are great bikes! Mine was originally a mix of Altus and Alivio, please read all my replies to the comments on this video to see what I did to workout my setup, maybe you could try a similar thing.
Here are the parts I settled on and very happy with over 5 years on:
      drivetrain:
      Shimano XT BB-MT800 Bottom Bracket
      Shimano Deore FC-M6000-2 10 speed 38-28T 175mm crankset
Shimano XT FD-M786 Conventional 2x10 Front Mech
KMC X10-EL Silver 10 Speed Chain
      KMC 10 Speed Chain Links
      Shimano 105 5700 10 Speed Road Cassette 11-28 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 28)
Shimano XT M8000 OPTISLICK Gear Cable Set + extra outer cap + shift cable donuts
Shimano XT M781 Shadow 10 Speed Rear Mech GS
Shimano XT 10-Speed SL-M780 Shift Levers (pair)
      brakes:
Shimano SLX BR-M7000 Disc Brake (front and rear)
      Shimano SLX SM-RT66 160mm rotors x2
      pedals:
      Shimano PD M540 SPD
      other:
      Ergon GP3 Grips large
Thomson Elite Straight 27.2/250mm seat post
      Thomson Seat post Clamp 31.8mm
      Schwalbe Marathon Supreme HD Evolution Folding Tire 37-622: - 700 x 35c x 2
      LifeLine Rubber Frame Protector (black)
LifeLine Essential One-Piece Matte Bottle Cage
      Knog Oi small bell
      XLC kickstand
      Serfas Road/MTB RX-921V bike seat) 267mm X 171mm
I still haven't upgraded the wheel set or headset as they're perfectly fine as they are at the moment. I am looking to replace the stem and handle bars to improve my bike fit though.

    Its crossway xt now ☺
I have 100 too, prefer your white frame though. Nice work, I want to do the same to mine as I like the frame very much and want to keep it. How do you like that groupset now over old 3x9?

Thanks Lynda! Yes it mostly is a Crossway XT!
I love the frame, if I had one regret with it I would have gone with the 52cm vs the 48cm, it would have given me an extra water bottle holder, but other than that it's brilliant - and very light!
The groupset is marvellous! I really did take a long time working out what combination of crankset and cassette to get (i used a spreadsheet to determine ratios in all the combinations and compared them with the 3x9 - I wanted a very close spread with the gears I used most often on the 3x9), but I would not change a thing with this. Makes it so much nicer when riding on the really flat roads/terrain where I live.
I have also recently upgraded the rear disc brake to the slx m7000 series.

@@moosaidtech very smart way of figuring out the gearing, I shall try that :-)
I went for 58cm after trying 3 different sizes in the shop, no regrets at all now that I am used to it, seems easier to go faster and no problems at all balancing at full stop and slow speed manouvers. They are great frames.
Going to try and figure out those front crankset ratios.
      Thanks for the advice

@@bluewanderer9903 You're welcome, let me know what ratios you settle on!
If I recall correctly when I bought this back ending 2013 they only had the 48cm one left at the local bike shop.. I'm 5'9, and the bike is actually still a pretty good fit for me although 52cm looks to be recommended - my mate bought the 52cm one not long after and I could definitely feel the difference, a bit more space - I would definitely go for that size going forward.

No, it's the 2014 model. I"m not sure what sort of improvements (if any) they're introduced since then.
