Just want to say thanks from another combat vet. My bike has been a life line many times since I got out. It’s so great to see you support a great cause. You’re my hero man🤘🏻🤘🏻
It's so cool how you take this bike and give it away to make someone else's life better. It also gave the viewers more knowledge about putting together a bike. Keep up the great videos!
31.6 mm is a nominal diameter - if the post and tube were both manufactured to precisely that size you'd need a mallet or more to get them together! Each component will be toleranced within a window a fraction of a millimetre either size of the nominal size to make sure any combination of tube and post fit together.

Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him. True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him.
When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil. I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God.
@@Call_Upon_YAH The thing is... You are wrong. I've read the bible (tried to read it anyway) and right at the very beginning the errors and hiatuses started piling up. God created men. Bomber crew mtb does something similar for veterans and friends in Southern California! We are friends with dirt therapy project I look forward to hosting some events together here in our area. I really loved the cause for which you built this bike Seth. If you or anybody you know in Southern California are in need of a veterans group please send them our way.

Thanks for introducing us to The Dirt Therapy Project. I had no idea they were around.
So so awesome about donating to TDTP!!! Such a great organization and definitely serves a great cause! I'm a TDTP member in Texas and we are all so stoked about it! This Berm Peak community is awesome!

While sick I decided I would look for another bike to help me get healthy, not knowing how sick I was. Found and bought a mtb and quickly found out my body was to torn up to just start on trails. Dirt Therapy Project is a great program, glad to see you giving it some shine among the community. I was never military but like you said I use MTB as my personal therapy tool for both physical and mental health and it really does wonders on both fronts.
As a retired mental health social worker I commend you for this. I have always owned a bike. Usually a big box store brand. I bought a Scott Scale and it opened the forest. I have worked with a lot of younger veterans and have actually got them into the forest. I got a Scott Spark two weeks ago and the mechanic is a veteran who gave me a map on some new trails.
I wanted to start restoring bike again, did it 40 years ago while at college. I just restored a 1997 Raleigh Max Cro-mo 1, I put some Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tyres on which really made it. I just picked up a Carrera Axle ltd edition cheap, I feel a bit stitched up with this one though, my fault I should have looked closer. The photo's showed the rear wheel off and no spindle or bearings. I started washing it down and that's when I saw it! beneath the mud in the contoured area of the chainstay was what looks to be a filed out section. Logically I can only assume the previous owner wanted some fat tyres on this bike a decided to make some room. It seems they stopped filing when two small holes appeared to the inside of the tube. Now I'm undecided how to fix it, with a cost of £50 to Aluminium fill the area, and that's after me saying to them to only fill it and I will reshape it afterwards. The other option that I'm not too sure on is using Aluminium welderless rods and mapp gas. I am wondering whether the heat from a blow torch will compromise the tempering of the 6061 T6 alloy and whether these rods would be a sufficient repair. Has anyone got any advice or suggestions. The damage is on the non drive side and about 2 mm to 2 1/2mm at the deepest point.
I would try and get a professional aluminum welder to do it for you if it’s only $50, I love doing stuff my self as well but I wouldn’t trust myself with a fix on my bike like that, I also wouldn’t trust those welderless rods to really hold the frame together, just my opinion.
I've got almost the same colour on my Stumpy (with Specialized written just like Diamondback is written on the bottom of the frame) and this colour is just so stunning that I can't believe it!
Thanks Seth…I posted a comment a few months ago about maybe donating a bike to help a veteran. Was very surprised to see this video. I am a disabled veteran myself and am intimately familiar with the challenges and struggles veterans face day to day. This simple offer of help may seem small but the impact can literally be life changing. Well done…
As a currently deployed vet, I'm pretty stoked about this video. I've been with Seth for about five years and it's hard to imagine my level of respect increasing but ya hit my feels on this one! I usually hate saying the "H" word but HOOAH to ya my guy!
Thankl very much Seth . this video has inspired me to build up some bikes i have , give them away and help others . thank you for letting me ride with you today and i cant wait to see you next time
As a vet and health care worker who takes their stress out on the trail and feel so much better after being one with nature. I appreciate the donation you made.
Thanks so much for your kindness to Military veterans. Those who were badly traumatized certainly should be on our gift list. I was one of the lucky ones who merely served without taking any hits, just regular working duties of a normal sort. Just the Military life in itself, in peace time, is enough to change you for the rest of your life.
Thank you Seth for hooking up that program. I am a veteran myself who retired 2 years ago. I just got back into mountain biking and it has helped a lot.
I need to say that, that video made me bit happier. My bike got stolen from school today but that video made bit happier thank you so much!! very nice video keep it up
Small tip - if you don't have star nut setting tool there is a little better way to hammer it inside - just put the top cap on the screw, secure it with standard nut and screw star nut into. While hammering the top cap will go flat in the end of the tube, assuring straight position of star nut. You can use pair of nuts to block them against each other on "right position" on the screw to assure the depth of assembly will be good every time without thinking about it. Very simple DIY star nut setting rig that you can have basically for free (like screw, old top cap and 3 nuts are usually lying somewhere around).
As a veteran, this video made me very happy! I'd love to be a part of a Southern Oregon chapter. My time on a bike has definitely improved my life in many ways and I'd love to share that with fellow veterans.

One of my (latest) fav videos from Seth! Thanks, man!
I've got almost the same colour on my Stumpy (with Specialized written just like Diamondback is written on the bottom of the frame) and this colour is just so stunning that I can't believe it!
That is an awesome bike. Even better cause. Love what you do man....you have a great channel and I'm honored to watch....
Thank you for you kind comments
Thanks Seth…I posted a comment a few months ago about maybe donating a bike to help a veteran. Was very surprised to see this video. I am a disabled veteran myself and am intimately familiar with the challenges and struggles veterans face day to day. This simple offer of help may seem small but the impact can literally be life changing. Well done…
Thanks, we would love to have you on a ride. Please contact us!
That’s so awesome Thank you Seth for helping the Veterans! Beautiful bike build I’m sure some lucky person will be enjoy it and staring at it too.

As a currently deployed vet, I'm pretty stoked about this video. I've been with Seth for about five years and it's hard to imagine my level of respect increasing but ya hit my feels on this one! I usually hate saying the "H" word but HOOAH to ya my guy!
When you get back please join us on a ride.
Hopefully we can see you on the trails
So cool! I'm in the Missouri National Guard. So definitely very grateful to the effort for assisting veteran's program.

As a vet and health care worker who takes their stress out on the trail and feel so much better after being one with nature. I appreciate the donation you made.
We are in 8 states, and growing. Would love it if you joined us for some rides.
Thanks for your understanding and your support Anza.
Thank you for helping our veterans. We owe them so much more then they receive.
Thank you for your support!
Thank you Seth for hooking up that program. I am a veteran myself who retired 2 years ago. I just got back into mountain biking and it has helped a lot.
This is an awesome thing Seth. OORAH TO YOU. my veteran brothers and sisters will appreciate this.
Awesome vid, Seth. Really enjoyed it. Cheers from Scotland
The Dirt Therapy Project does some great work, thanks for showcasing them and hello from Texas!
We will see you on the trails Jeff!
I need to say that, that video made me bit happier. My bike got stolen from school today but that video made bit happier thank you so much!! very nice video keep it up
Is this a bot message?
Small tip - if you don't have star nut setting tool there is a little better way to hammer it inside - just put the top cap on the screw, secure it with standard nut and screw star nut into. While hammering the top cap will go flat in the end of the tube, assuring straight position of star nut. You can use pair of nuts to block them against each other on "right position" on the screw to assure the depth of assembly will be good every time without thinking about it. Very simple DIY star nut setting rig that you can have basically for free (like screw, old top cap and 3 nuts are usually lying somewhere around).
Terrific build and video Seth! A wonderful gesture to gift the bike to The Dirt Therapy too..........they're very deserving of it for sure!!
Thanks Archie for your support.
As a veteran, this video made me very happy! I'd love to be a part of a Southern Oregon chapter. My time on a bike has definitely improved my life in many ways and I'd love to share that with fellow veterans.
We have a PNW Chapter, please contact us!
All the way from Sri Lanka, I have watched all your videos and this donation is just great, sadly I wouldn't be able to even touch something like that EVER. great job and keep posting amazing videos...

As a Vet myself, I got into mountain biking (and then cycling in general) as a way to to escape and burn off the crazy. I was able to to get on there Vet I served with to start joining me and 10 months ago he bought his first full squish. I think this is really cool of you Seth to this and I want to say thank you. I didn’t know about this organization till this video and I’m going to check it out. Once again thank you!
Please do check us out, and contact us! Hopefully, we can see you on the trails.
Will do and thank you for all that y’all do!

Maybe we need a TDTP UK!
I’m a beginner and this was great. I took a lesson last month which was invaluable. I spend a lot of time gong over and over trail sections that I struggle with.
Great video once again Seth great from you doing this
Seth is a legend! I love that he supports these types of projects!
Great work, and nice bike for an awesome cause. You have a big heart, Seth. We need more people like you.
STILL my favourite MTB related channel on the ‘net, in spite of watching the pro riders and how to’s. Keep it going for eternity Seth!
