Noooo wayyyyy Ivan, I love this message. Amazing news! I hope you have a beautiful day but also, I would really love to hear probably during a live stream sometime, I would love to hear if they already do know about this restaurant or, if they go and visit :-)
Wow, very late to comment on this video. In the 1990s, I lived in Bellamy village (Kampung Delima) behind the grilled fish shop. Every day I eat grilled fish there. It is very addicting to me. But now that Houses in Kampung Delima has been demolished by the Government to be used as a fruit Farm, we no longer eat there because we have moved away from KL city. I like to eat at the shop (in the middle) because the sambal is delicious. we already miss that place. Anyway, enjoy your meal
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. All d grilled food looked so good, must have been really delicious. Can't help but to notice that there was a long queue. U know about all your food in Malaysia. Good meal, dessert too.

Safe travels and hugs to you and Lan Yan❤
Joel!!! This is really impressive... Looks like you ended up in just another 'food heaven' 😅 Love the fact that in Malaysia it is still very common to eat the food by just using your fingers. It feels so natural. Decades ago it used to be the same on Koh Samui...
Love being able to begin this series, we have been so excited visiting both the south of Thailand and then finally continuing further south all the way to Malaysia. Thank you for the cool comment today, I am actually going to be visiting KohSamui again very soon, it would be great to hang out again in August
Yes, in Thailand you eat it frequently but you need to boil it, but here in Malaysia, fried cempedak, you can eat the flesh and also the seed also, no need to separate it and reboil again. Yes, if durian seed also can be eaten, but it will take longer time to well done it, and for me, cempedak seed is more delicious than durian one. That cemperdak if it’s properly fried, the seed can be eaten. So you dont have to boil it. Just bite into the seed if its not cook it will be hard. If not its good to go. I love the seed.. 😜
Mike this is amazing, if I had this near where I live I would try it immediately. With jackfruit, you really have to boil it so again, it shows that although they are similar, Cempedak (in Thailand it’s “Champada”) really is special
@@JoelsTastyRide well there thats not the only place selling that. You might come across another.✌🏼 well some stall use high fire to fry it, which shorten the cooking time but its not hot enough to cook the seed. Thats why u need to boild it.

Okay now I am going through the memory that you have shared, wow OK so stingray is eaten along the coast in the eastern USA? I have been to the coast in South Carolina actually and also in Florida, but I was only eight or nine years old so I don’t think I was eating anything too interesting in those days. Man, thanks again for sharing this! I’m glad that I am having breakfast right now or I would be pretty hungry. Blessings and much much love brother, sending you a hug and appreciating all the hugs you send me through messages each week. Love to you and Denise, make today a joyful one brother. Speak to you soon!
Not too far from the Jalan Bellamy food court (the place where you eating) is the Royal Museum aka Muzium Diraja... it was the former National Palace of Malaysia which has been converted into a museum now.
Oh wow looks so yummy thank you for sharing your experience joel God bless yall I have a question joel the jack fruit is it good cause I see it's your favorite but I see some people gag that's why I'm asking is it sweet and good
Malisa! I hope you’re having a great day :-) I hope you keep your curiosity strong for one of the worlds most amazing fruits. I would say Cempadak is now my favorite fruit actually, after this trip, I love it even more than ever! It’s different than jackfruit but from the outside it does look similar… But this is not Durian, I wonder if you are thinking of durian :-)??
@@JoelsTastyRide yes I ment durian so sorry yes it looked so good had a wonderful day thanks for asking have a blessed day say hi to mommy oh and daddy oh and wife
FM! Well… thiiiiiis white loves Malaysia, AND every flavor in this great place ♥️ I have nangka and buah salak at home, but you’re right about the rambutan… so sweet! 🌟
(What songs are used are free from RUclips, can you see the description in the automatic text at the bottom? RUclips will always give credit automatically)
If you like fried cempedak, you should try fried banana and fried sweet potato to... usually this two things is sold with fried cempedak at a same street stall..
I love cempedak goreng. It's turning out to be the queen of fruits after the durian cos of the price, the price is much higher than it was before sadly
No way no way I was not aware of this… Many years ago during my first visits I only had this fruit fried, I did not realize the fresh price was rising so high
@@JoelsTastyRide the fried ones used to be around the price of banana fritters, 5 for rm1. Now some places are selling up to rm2 per piece in and around KL. Some are blaming the fresh fruit price, some blaming the recent crude palm oil price increase cos its fried with that oil (even though the palm oil price has gone back down, the cooking oil is still high). Pricing of things in Malaysia can sometimes be a mystery hahahaha
I love durian ice cream. But then I'm Malaysian so I'm biased. D24 is a durian "brand". There's also the Musang king, Blackthorn and many more. To me, they have different textures but all taste delicious.
Hey hey!!!! Great to hear from you Dr., appreciate the Bible verse in your photo there… And I appreciate you spending some time with both of us today. Much love, DO good today, and I hope this finds you well!

When I walk the beach in Ponce Inlet, Florida USA ... I see surf fishing people who HATE to catch stingrays because it's not a food fish here in the USA ... it's a headache to fishermen because it takes their bait and, with the dangerous bony tail, it's hard to remove the hook to throw them back in the Atlantic ocean !
U should try stingray in South east asia country.. Any food ingredient can be tasty depend on the chef.. There are some youtuber that didnt eat fish, but now they love seafood in South east asia..

You rock Max 🎸 🪨 🤘🏽 ♥️
@@maxf3253 many blessings to you an your family an remember God loves you and so do we..!!!!!
Not too far from the Jalan Bellamy food court (the place where you eating) is the Royal Museum aka Muzium Diraja... it was the former National Palace of Malaysia which has been converted into a museum now.
Hi hi Ron hows moms doing blessings to her...love to her.🙏🙏🌺💞🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺💞🌺🌺💞🌺🌺💞🌺🌺

I think you are Malaysian but born in other country...Love how you love every food in my country , Malaysia.
Hey Joel!!! Good morning, wanna say the fish in the banana leaf reminds me of Hor Mok Pla!!! Looks yummy!!!
🥰
Amazing... very rare whites try cempedak.. normally tourists would only try durian 😅😅
Must also try nangka, rambutan , buah salak 👍👍😊
FM! Well… thiiiiiis white loves Malaysia, AND every flavor in this great place ♥️ I have nangka and buah salak at home, but you’re right about the rambutan… so sweet! 🌟

Rishmaaaaa 🥗🥙🥪🥞🥕🌽🫒🍠❤️🔥🌟 Always appreciate the words, the good energy, thank you so much for writing us today
in Malaysia the Portuguise grill fish is kinda famous too in here.
If you like fried cempedak, you should try fried banana and fried sweet potato to... usually this two things is sold with fried cempedak at a same street stall..
Wow Welcome to My Country Malaysia 🇲🇾
Pricing of things in Malaysia can sometimes be a mystery hahahaha
siput sedut masak lemak.. yummyy
I love durian ice cream. But then I'm Malaysian so I'm biased. D24 is a durian "brand". There's also the Musang king, Blackthorn and many more. To me, they have different textures but all taste delicious.
Jackfruit is best to eat raw. Chempedak is best to eat deep fried.
Thanks for sharing my driend
Tokey! I really appreciate you taking the time to write today, I hope all is well. Happy Tuesday!!
Yum, grill stingray. 😋

Should try negeri sembilan Masai lemak cili api
You should being them to eat the famous nasi lemak either at Village Park, my choice or at Wanjo. Don't forget to eat nasi kandar at Pelita.
Now durian season go eat durian at SS2.

Just did a Cempedak Gelato a few days ago.
Nooooo WAY! 🤩🤪🥰 I was on the lookout for anything with this flavor, besides the fruit itself… Of which we ate several kilograms each… This is awesome, and very smart. That flavor must have worked very well I hope??? Thanks for the message
@@JoelsTastyRide , it surely did, its common to get Butter Cakes with cempedak in KL as well.
@@JoelsTastyRide even a local Pizza chain had a desert pizza with Cempedak…. Do come over again… Lots to discover…
we in Malaysia eat mackerel fish because it is common and cheap also meaty

Your t-shirt so nice,,from thailand
When I walk the beach in Ponce Inlet, Florida USA ... I see surf fishing people who HATE to catch stingrays because it's not a food fish here in the USA ... it's a headache to fishermen because it takes their bait and, with the dangerous bony tail, it's hard to remove the hook to throw them back in the Atlantic ocean !
Some stingray have smelly flesh like urine odur ....
@@bolladeen Not our Sting Ray. Different species I guess. It's probably the pest version one you got there
U should try stingray in South east asia country.. Any food ingredient can be tasty depend on the chef.. There are some youtuber that didnt eat fish, but now they love seafood in South east asia..
male stringrays smell like a pee, but the female one doesnt smell.. u can eat that..
You must know how to prepare the stingray before cooking!
The seeds of the fried jackfruit can be eaten as well
You need some mustache wax for a handle bar. I've seen someone in a choir with 4 inch ones, you look particularly suited for something spectacular. You only live once.

Stingray and sharks are one family of fishes which is different from bony fishes.
Their bones similarly of shark are made from cartilage
