About bloody time a brand went well over 200... 210 on every bike i still have to lift out of the frame alot. Im 6ft but i like my saddle at the proper height unlike 95% of other people who dont put theirs high enough
very impressive stunts, Mike! 🙌🏽 although I never run a cable actuated dropper myself, one up is the one I recommend all the time and never disappointed anyone. 240mm is impressive and I hope, the wireless versions will increase their drop as well. I really could use those extra centimeters of clearence ;)
Not bad for royalty free music, eh? "Want It" by Dylan Sitts is the track on the intro. I would have to track down the song on the Lost Co intro, if you are talking about that one.
6'2" stoked! Finally ride up and down steep stuff in comfort. Kinda glad I didn't have the money for a new post.. damn still don't! Its 270usd in the uk 😟
I installed a OneUp v2 in the Trek Rail 7, size M, 180mm range is fantastic against 130mm, actually I have even more range because the original seat post came out about 50mm from the frame. Have much more freedom of movement on the trail.
I will ask our buyer to see if he has an ETA. In the meantime, I would highly recommend signing up for a "Back In Stock" notification on the product page. You will be notified as soon as it's in stock. thelostco.com/products/oneup-components-dropper-post-v2
Dan! That depends on what size dropper you prefer and your frames insertion. Give us a call or shoot us an email and we can help find the best dropper for you! (360) 306-8827 // sales@thelostco.com
I’m kinda confused on this. I have a 210mm one up that came on my used bike and it’s to big for me. I’m 6’1 riding a large sb140 with the post fully inserted. I’m trying to figure out how on earth people are using a 240mm post. Do I just have a long torso and short legs lol.
You might be! I’m 6’2 on an XL Deviate Highlander and I’ve got something like 34 cm of post out from seat collar to rails (OneUp 210 post), and I think my seat post to center of the BB is around 79 / 80 cm. I’ll totally be getting on of these once I get the money.
Hi Mike! Devinci are saying the medium frame for the Spartan can fit a maximum lenght of 170mm dropper, are you really able to fit a 210mm in there? Asking cause thinking of upgrading that poor 125mm Reverb on mine!
In order to find what size dropper post you can run, you first need to find out the max insertion on your bike. Then, you can compare that number with the max insertion on the dropper post (297mm on a 210 OneUp) and see what fits. Bear in mind, depending on your preference the post can stick out a little bit. If you have any other questions, send us an email, shoot us a call, or reach out on the live chat on our website. sales@thelostco.com // (360) 306-8827
I got me a 170 from the Pacific North West (sorry, not gonna give the brand 😂) and love it to bits. Sure enough, my bike could probably take a 190 or 200 mil dropper as well. But 240? Seriously? And I thought I had long legs...

I could fit one on my conservatively long seat tube of Trek fuel ex7 2019, and would probably fit a 280-300mm on a very stupidly, unnecesarily short seat tube of modern frames, but i don't think it's needed to have more than 210mm EVER. Why? Long legged people are way behind the saddle when they bend their legs a lot, due to long tighs. And also you need to get up from full drop, and that is no fun and energy consuming, to do squats so deep, while you're testing your stamina. You don't move forward in full squat, that is possible over the rear wheel. So you don't need your saddle to be as low as the tire, or anywhere close. I'm 6foot4" with 38" inseam(!), and i don't see the need for 240mm dropper. Got oneup210, never touch the saddle.
I actually would need a long dropper on stupidly, unnecesarily short seat tube on a modern frame....so the saddle can reach my bum, and that is just sad, as it proves XL frames have no r&d done properly.
Im actually a little upset. I literally just received a brand new oneup 210mm dropper less than a week ago. I was worried it would be too much but one I installed it I immediately realized I could could go even bigger. This 240 would have been perfect… ugh.
Where the short leggers and log leggers at? 💃
Aye.
I admire the commitment to the stair roll. This man does his own stunts!!!
I don't play.
240mm... Holy cow that's a lot of drop, hats off to OneUp that's impressive
We couldn't agree more! Cheers to OneUp
Hats drop*
I am 195cm tall with long legs and just installed the 240mm dropper. Still not flush with the frame, but it's the best I can get atm. Thanks OneUp!
Just got a 120mm OneUp for my fat bike a couple weeks ago. I've only taken it on one ride yet, but I've been super happy with it so far!
About bloody time a brand went well over 200... 210 on every bike i still have to lift out of the frame alot. Im 6ft but i like my saddle at the proper height unlike 95% of other people who dont put theirs high enough
OneUp breaking further into that threshold is a game changer!
Thanks oneup! At 6ft 4 with long legs I have been waiting for this! Just bought one today! Can’t wait to try it
Enjoy!! This post was made for you!
Same here. 6ft 4, read it in the news, bought one before they go out of stock :D
very impressive stunts, Mike! 🙌🏽

Keep having fun y’all, super informative and fun to watch! Sub 🙌🏻
Thanks for the video! You literally mentioned everything I wanted to question about the new 240mm dropper. Great job bud!
Pretty impressive that you do all your stunts
So glad I found this video before ordering and 210mm when I need 220mm, thanks
Absolutely! Glad we could help! I think you meant 240 and not 220, though? If there's a 220 that we don't know about that would be cool, haha.

Man that intro electro funk riff is amazing.

Can’t wait to ride the 240mm. It’s about fn time
The 240mm is a gamer changer!
My stumpy size s4 came with a 180 one up I think. At 6 feet the post sticks out a bit. Wish it had come with a 210:(
At 6'9" this is a game changer for me!
This post was made for _you!_

I think you have more range now (a 180 drop compared to a 130 drop) but you don't have “even more range” because 130 mm + 50 mm is still 180 mm 😁
@@jaromirmoravec2846 Yes, I have🤩👍
Music is a little noisy, Video is great! Also: Holy moly, 240 mm of travel is INSANE.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the video!
Hey Mike, I just called for the 90mm 167 full insertion dropper. I was told you guys don’t have it. Do you know you will have it in stock?

bloody hell I thought 210mm droppers was long, 240mm is just madness although it dose make sense for taller riders.
Do a video on headsets. Measuring and purchasing what you need
Hey Mike I need more butt clearance as well !!! 😂🤣😂 what would be the dropper and seat combo with the least stack high? Thanks 👍👊🤘🤘🤘

OK, but does it have side to side play or not ?

240 is the best!loving it sinne im 194cm with long legs :)
I literally just purchased the 125 from your site this morning... Now I see this 90mm lol
Don't stress it too much, I don't think we will be seeing the 90mm in stock for a bit.
Does the insertion length include the green connector at the end?
Great question! Insertion length does include the actuator.
I wonder if there’s a weight limit for the 240mm dropper. I’m 196cm, but also 110kg (unfortunately).
The 240mm would be perfect for the Honzo ESD.
To my knowledge, there is no weight limit on those dropper posts.
Would be perfect. 👍🏽
Nice 😊
😘😘
I love your vids !!

No 27.2 for my fsi.
Iam 6'3 so that will be perfect for me
27.2 ?
Cut the video when I knew OneUp didn’t t hear about frame measures
If there was a 180 dropper with an insertion length with 260mm or less I would have to excuse myself
How to do "shim down" ?

Do you know why I HATE OneUp??? Because I have to keep buying it for all our bikes 😅
one up "growers not showers.... but also showers"
1:53 shamefull stamina, he's already breathing heavy ;-p LOL
i'm 200cm and i just bought a 210mm dropper yesterday...
Hope that they will refund me for it so i can buy the 240 instead
You are definitely in the 240mm category, hope they can swap you out!
@@TheLostCo they just contacted me back, they can’t 😔 210mm for sale lol

And you do all your own stunts 🤣
No stuntman here! .............yet
90 makes sense but 240!!!!!!! WHY?
Rather tall people. I have a couple of friends in the 6'2"+ range who are HYPED!
240 good grief man
Blah blah how much? 30.9 & 31.6??
Lol 😀
Why are you talking so fast??? very fast!!! you participate in races who will say the words faster in 1 minute???
or what???
🤔
Yes.

Shoot, that timing is unfortunate. It might potentially worth trying to exchange for a 240mm if whoever you bought it from has it in stock?
