    I was very fortunate to get to do this in Sacramento at your trunk show, and I was TOTALLY amazed how legit easy this was to do. lol. I wouldn't have even THOUGHT about doing a curve like this if we hadn't done it that day. lololol. I need to post a pic for you of the pillow I made with my curved piece. You indulged my weirdness and signed it for me, hahaha.

    Love this techique! I stayed away from curves for so long. Then I started this curved quilting! Its addictive! And it's a great way to use those edges that are left over after trimming a quilt before binding! You gave me a couple of excellent pointers. Thanks!🤗

    Hello Rob! Thanks for the great tutorial! You have such an easy way of teaching! I am recently expanding my quilting techniques. Would you be open or able to do a series of tutorials for us beginners about things to watch out for when cutting and matching up pieces. I'm having a darn difficult time getting my strip sets, squares etc to match and be the correct size...HELP!!!!

    That was so cool! Thank you. How was your Thanksgiving turkey on the grill? After watching your Phoenix video, I now know where my local quilt shops after that buy Micheal Miller fabric! When I go up there to shop once a month, those will be my 1st stop. Mad Bs and Oasis. Thank you for doing Storytimes.

    Rob, I love your work! I have been looking for the tutorial or pattern for the one behind you during your tutorials, with Michael Miller Making it Fun appliqued on it. Can you tell me where to find it?

    Newbie here. Why was one side slightly shorter than the other when you finished sewing them together?

    • @susiemeadows9838
      @susiemeadows9838 5 лет назад +2

      Christine Davis either his length cuts weren’t identical (and I don’t think they were) or the thing that usually happens happened: the feed dogs under the machine foot tend to bunch up the fabric juuuuust a little- like a quarter inch over a twelve inch run. It’s one of those quirks that comes in handy when one piece is a smidge too long sometimes.

      Because, as he said,
      " Its organic", man. 😄
      (a little "Cars" quote humor).
      When doing such "improv" piecing, always allow a little extra wiggle room, then trim to "square".
