I'd be thrilled with 14.6mpg but it's 2023 and we should expect better. It's only a 4k load

But the truck is geared to get great MPG empty. It’s still better than a lot of trucks with frames.!

4000 lbs is a LOT of weight. There's a whole second maverick back there. Combined weight here is more then a dually diesel crew cab long bed F-450. And the trailer load is tall, and not aerodynamic. Drag is going to destroy your MPG no matter what.

I will be getting a similar set up as you . What are you getting for millage with out the trailer ?

Up to 30 on the back roads and 26 around town and in traffic.

You will probably get around 16mpg around town. I hauled a little John Deere to North Carolina and got 22mpg.
