Очень красиво, как всегда! Спасибо! Есть такая просьба. Не могли бы Вы провести эксперимент и сделать фотосессию не с очень дорогим Canon 85 1.2 RF, а с более доступным объективом Canon EF 85 1.8. Было бы интересно видеть, какого результата можно достигнуть, не имея топовой техники.

Incredible photos, definitely some of your best. I really like the shot at 14:05 although to be honest they're all amazing. I like the approach to the video with some background and cultural information too
Being limited in equipment can be a blessing and a curse. But think about this, when you master cell phone pics imagine how good you are gonna be with a full frame !

I love how your photographs capture the pride Nikita feels in her heritage, I was quite moved hearing her talk about the eagle feathers she has earned. For me the film images have a lovely muted tone which really suits the subject well. I also loved the richness of colour in the R5 shots too... difficult to choose!
The film texture really fit the theme - the woman is authentic, natural and serious, and film compliments it. Also colors look more complex and slightly more muted

When I saw the thumbnail pop up in my feed, I wondered how authentically she was going to portray the model. I was combing through the comments to see what the reactions might be. I'm glad she did this in a culturally sensitive way.

This was breathtaking Irene ! Every detail from the digital photos, the film photos, the cinematic broll and the ethereal music came together to create a beautiful photoshoot and video ! The model looked so happy to talk about her culture and i really enjoyed learning about it too :) ! I liked both the digital and film shots by the way, the mamiya shots had a "documentary" feel to them which I loved!

These are my very favorites of all the photos and BTS I have seen of yours. Not that the others aren't very good, because they are. But, your beautiful Model, her Native Dress, the setting for pictures, the use of the sun and using both digital and film all made this an absolute joy to watch.
I'm an amateur photographer and have studied enough of exceptional photographers and how they transform all elements available into memorable images. You know, the kind when you look at a photo and go, "Oh! Oh! I REALLY like that!!!" And then, you are continuously drawn back to that photo, partially to want to learn how to get even remotely close to that caliber of an image myself.
Well, Irene, you didn't just have one image like that! You had a whole video filled with images like that! And for your model to explain the significance of the various parts of her dress was enlightening, adding to my enjoyment. Such a remarkable and very memorable experience. Thank you so much for capturing this and sharing it. I know I'm going to be coming back to watch this over and over.
I lived for some time in Montana years ago and often thought of heading up to Calgary but never quite made it. I understand it's absolutely beautiful, as is much of Montana, which I was able to travel extensively. Thanks again for your marvelous photography and for teaching this Old Dog some new ideas.

Beautiful shoot Irene, Nikita is beautiful in her regalia and she has gorgeous eyes. Love the whole shoot as the natural light brought out the beauty of her regalia and the beautiful woman she is. As her eyes and lovely face you captured so beautifully and the outdoor scenery worked beautifully in the whole shoot. Really enjoyed this one as it is a beautiful shoot of seeing something we hardly get to see now days as so much of this is not seen anymore.

Well I am a sucker for medium format film and Portra. Maybe because film is what I grew up with. I love,love,love your digital and the slight editing you do in post for that subtle pop. It is award winning for sure. But, there is a special place in my ❤ for film. I find that your work is very inspiring and your talent is awesome. And where you find your models is another talent and honed skill.

The video and the pictures are great. The shots from the film camera remind of the pictures from the 1960's and 1970's. There's some grain to them but her face stands out in the photo. Nicely done.
