Also, this time you utilized the whole range of 28-70 ;) In your previous beach video, you were on 70mm throughout.
I really wanted to capture the whole waterfall and I enjoyed getting some really wide shots, I thought they looked powerful :)
Would love to see some editing video's also. Maybe a composite video's of you doing the shoot and then editing the same shoot photos in the latter half of the video's
Don't worry too much about the water, I'm using an R6 with the 28-70. Had to shoot a festival in full rain this week, went out anyway; no problem at all. The front element getting wet is kind of annoying, but the sun hood and a B+W nano coated filter are ideal: almost no water on the filter and if there was, just cleaned it with my very very wet t-shirt. Spotless.
In general with this Canon semi-pro stuff: you'll quit sooner than the camera ever will.
Yeah thankfully I had no problems but I remember when my friend Anita Sadowskas 5d mrk 4 just stopped working from the water damage, after we shot on the beach and that has made me try to protect my camera more, especially when travelling.
@@IreneRudnyk that's unfortunate! The 5d is also quite sturdy. Never encountered that, lucky for me. That's also why I always have a backup camera in the bag
Same for me I never had a problem with my 5d mrk 3 but that doesn’t mean that it can’t happen, moisture is never good for a camera
@@IreneRudnyk true true :) I do have a question, often you stretch the borders to get a more rectangular crop. Is there a reason you don't use a bokeh pano every now and then? Just a matter of work flow?

Was it difficult getting all the droplets edited out from the spray drifting on the lens? You must of had to wipe the lens a lot…….
I was wiping the lens a lot, but the droplets just make the image look misty, you wouldn’t be able to see actual droplets unless I’m shooting at like f9 and up
Oh,ok, I never thought of that point. Will have to remember that if I ever get to a waterfall like that!🙂

No, I was wiping my lens a lot, and if I didn’t it just have a slight misty effect which I found was pretty cool

Professional cameras are not needed to create beautiful images, but they really help in situations like that, one protects the equipment a little bit like Irene did and stop worrying. I saw Matt Granger work like it was nothing in even worse conditions than this one. (Nikon Z9, so like an R3 in the Canon World). LOL you put a bag over your R5 and lens? LOL I shot with my R6 mkii and 28-70 under Yosemite falls... I got soaked, camera got soaked and it is professional grade... never had an issue and it didn't miss a beat... it is still good several weeks later! As far as your editing by adding in another waterfall... it's really fun, but did you give the NEW AI Fill a try for where you wanted to expand it? It is MIND BLOWING
My friends 5d mrk 4 stopped working from a humid beach shoot, so I don’t wanna play with it, especially on vacation

People are meant to evolve and grow and develop their skills over time. Her style has stayed very consistent, the only thing that changes is equipment and her skill set.
I believe her style has been consistent. Soft, feminine, and effortlessly beautiful. It's just that she's in the tropics during this session and they don't wear much clothing there so maybe that's why it might seem like her style has changed. 😄😁
