As someone who has politely manuevered around people like that in the past, I can tell you, you have to put a price on your happiness and don't sell it cheap. I would agree with everything Bill says here, there are some people you have to put your foot down and be honest and blunt.

My girlfriends 24 year old brother lived on our couch in our tiny 1 bedroom apartment for 6 months. Of those 6 months, he only worked a total of 2 months and only paid 3 months of rent. He was so lazy, just watching TV and playing video games all day, sleeping until noon when he should have been applying to jobs. That was a frustrating time. We had to tell him that he had to go.
Stand up and be assertive now! Making issues are when you let it happen and then tell them. You think it's easier bro to stop the family once they start living there for weeks? or Months or even just not care about you? Who's paying rent? Caring for you besides you? If it's just you, then Bill is 100% correct, it's your life WOW that's not okay just hearing it but be cool and results needs to happen in you favor now or it will never happen. Also it sounds like, (unfortunately) the siblings are being cared for like they're handicapped or mentally disabled or just lazy. That's hard but you need to respect you. You girl needs to see your frustrated and that this is not a healthy sitsuation. UPDATE US MAN! PLEASE! GOOD LUCK!
