The lady who played the principal is Linda Carter. She also played Wonder Woman back in the day.
The character was SUPPOSED to be Wonder Woman, but they couldn't get legal permission from DC to use the character.

Fun fact: Disney planned to make a series following the event of this movie, they even had the main kid cast sign on to do the series when they signed in for the movie. But a disappointing box office made them cancel those plans. Though years later through reairings on the Disney Channel the movie grew an audience and became a cult classic
Didn't know that, interesting fact. Pity it didn't do better as this was a damn good movie, I remember I loved it when it first came out. When you think of some of the rubbish we have now.
The sequel would have been titled Save U (Save University) and featured the characters from Sky High graduating from high school and attending college.
In March 2024, Sky High director Mike Mitchell still expressed interest in a sequel, but pointed out that since Disney bought Marvel, they only see them as their superhero output. He has stated that he would like to do a Sky High inspired project set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I guess now The boss of Marvel Studios which is a huge fan of this movie was in talks with the director about a new sequel. Disney was hesitant to produce a non marvel film so it might actually happen.

In case you missed it, the guy whose house almost got crushed was Tom Kenny. Voice actor for Spongebob, Ice King, so on and so forth. Dont see him too much in live action
Also, the wife in that scene is Jill Talley who is Tom Kenny’s actual wife. They met around the time that they were both in Mr Show.

I watched this 100 times as a kid on DVD. I’m surprised how well the writing, comedy, and even most effects. The campy effects work pretty well for the tone.

Warren was played by Stephen Strait. This was only his second acting role. He did a cover of the song 'One Thing Leads to Another' for Sky High.
He was also in a movie called The Covenant with Sebastian Stan. It's hokey but a fun film. You should check it out.

It’s a rare instance of us only getting one movie when we honestly would love to have some sequels. I remember being so happy as a kid when I got the DVD for it in the mail as a birthday present.
