What else to look for on a beach is the rip currents aka rip tide, you can tell where they are by sea foam it tails out some distance as the current is pushing away from the beach, this current picks up feed and drops it off in deeper water, and the fish will come in where this happens

You guys did great! Sharks are tricky. If he tail slapped any part of the line, their rough skin could’ve sliced it easily. Positioning is crucial while fighting them but also very hard to control. 10/10 job, both of you! Loving the content Mike!

Hey Mike you talk faster than a Philadelphia lawyer. Usually I get tired by watching you. Today your interview was great.
Mike out there grinding on the water once again! I think this is shaping up to be your best year as a content creator! I'd love to see you fish around the Pittsburgh area sometime. We're not known for fishing but we have 3 large rivers that meet downtown as well as dozens of tributaries feeding into them. The Allegheny River and the Monongahela Rivers both feed into the Ohio. I'd love to see you target smallies or even Walleye up here some time. Some guy even caught a Paddlefish out of one of the rivers recently.

Nice sharks and lots of fun watching you learn from Tony. We all love the hunt and the idea that when you cast a line you never know what you are gonna catch. But, the comradery you find and friends you make along the way, even if just for a day, are fantastic. That, and taking a kid fishing for the first time are two of the incredible joys of the sport.

ayy, nice shark man! When I shark fish I usually use at least a 1 foot wire leader just to ensure sharks bite the line off, as a 5-6 footer will cut right through even 120+ lb mono. Tight lines, and I hope to see some more sharks on the trip!

Me and my dad go surf fishing in south carolina or florida most years on vacation. As a bass fisherman, this is helpful information to me.

I love surf fishing. I do that quite often here in Florida. Yeah you have to read the water a little. Look for troughs if possible. We have a lot of whiting in our wash and they are delicious. I usually target close and far out as well. I’ve also caught sharks in where you would fish for the bait fish.
