Why can't I catch anything from the shores of Loch Raven? I go deep into the trails and see plenty of bass in the water, but nothing I try catches them. Using 10 lbs fluro, tried all types of baits - spinners, ned rig, jigs, chatterbaits etc. Any advice?
I think why I'm subbed to him is bc he is dedicated to what he does he doesn't just quit 5 hours into the challenges he actually tries his best at all times 100👑

Videos of shore fishing in rivers and lakes in America gets me so excited, but it really is a different beast in Australia. You can go for days with a lure without landing anything, so you almost always have bait in as well. It definitely makes every freshwater fish without a boat feel more worth it. But when you find a good hole you defend the information with your life lol.
This right here is what I want to watch. These are the best type of fishing videos. I love when you put in the grind. It gets me motivated and is so entertaining. Keep up the good work. Mtb slams are my favorite
I love fishing that lake just because of the chance of Muskie, I’m 13 as of now and have hooked up to 2. Sadly my yak isn’t big enough to land a fish that size and both times the line snapped. I hope you comeback because it’s always an adventure out there. Love the vid man keep it up!
Honestly, i respect the grind. You have easily deleted the recording and tried again on a more favourable day but no. You kept at it. 14 hours of fishing to complete a challenge, that's insane. I would have called it a day after 6 hours of a slow bite.
you should go back to that lake with a muskie mystery tackle box and see how long it would take to catch to ether use everything to catch a muskie or just catch one with the mystery tackle box

I agree that the stick bait can be checked off. From my personal experience, those types of weed guards on your wacky worm hook can cause a hook set problem.

its not normal to lose so much fish. you wait way to long to assure your self that you have a fish on then set the hook. from my experience, its feel a bite, tell the difference if it swallowed or just hit it. once its on, you set the hook. thing is with you, you wait so long to set the hook that the fish already spit it out

This is my local lake, been fishing it for yearss and have never seen a musky. Some buddies of mine have caught them in here but unfortunatly I haven't been as lucky so its really cool that you witnessed that follow. I have caught some decent walleyes here however. The lake is also populated with snakeheads now as well. Seen some pretty big ones pulled out by the dam
