Awesome, I have been looking on getting this one myself I have two of their other for my back yard so I would want to put this on my front porch as people come up, I had a package stolen from my porch so I would be able to get them before they come on the porch, it's either this one or the E340 doorbell.
Having this camera for 2 weeks now..updates: in order for your camera to capture pets and humans, you must go in and tap on the screenshot and check yes or no to the picture posted as human or pet..this is a AI learning camera. It has gotten a little better over time, but the killer is the response time to notification is really lagging..15 to 30 secs some instances. I always capture AFTER the fact of something moving. Also, I had to add a "schedule" to the camera to keep it recording for 7 days in a row at all times. The basic setting do not allow the camera to film pets in the daytime. Trying a RING now to see if response time is any better with battery. I know that wired RING cameras give you a 3 sec notice of film before human or pet appears.
While you are trying to figure out where to put it on all the trees, it may be better to get some nylon straps or such to hook it to the tree for temporary, then you can move it around easier without putting screw holes everywhere that it will not end up. Cool review though, I could see how this would be useful.

im guessing its like other eufy cameras in that yes you can. You can control the lights, you can listen and talk to someone there and would guess you could move the camera as well. I have stationary eufy cameras and you can do what I mentioned with them. They even have a very loud annoying alarm you can turn on.
what if you have two people walking together and then you both split off in different directions? How does it choose who to follow? That would be interesting to play with.

Hi, does your dogs or wildlife motion trigger your eufy s340 camera, as I have the same camera, and this does not record & or track my dogs, so just wondering if mine is broken ?
Detections of pets it is possible only if you connect this camera through Homebase3. Also, Ai tracking works only for humans and vehicles. Camera will detect pets, or wild animals, but it will not track them.
I absolutely hate my S340. The fact that we can't see what is happening at the moment but it only records what is happening and you get to see it after the fact. In other words while movement starts the camera recording it won't bring up the live feed when movement happens.
I like the idea of these cameras. But watching this review I see one weird issue... seeing the camera track a person's movement I love.. But the zoomed in function is showing a body with no head. That's not useful at all. The zoomed in function should always track a face in my opinion.

I can confirm that I have had the s340, and it dies not track pets, but will detect them if you have the home base connected
How muchdoes that mess up the trees? None at all? They are ok? Or, can that really mess them up?

i believe you can set such features in the app.
I don’t think you can set such features. The camera just needs to be mounted a bit higher having seen the same issue on other reviews
