The people that are still watching your channel aren’t “van people” or “cabin people” or “build and create people”. We are “Eamon and Bec people” and we watch because we’re connected to you and your lives. You inspire and are such a comfortable space to be each Sunday and we want to see every aspect of your lives. I think we will be so sad if the baby is not in every single episode. But we also honor your privacy so you do you!

Everything is relative. I'm sure they will loose some (possibly) and gain some. That's just what happens when a channel moves away from "status quo". Their "gamble" with going from vanlife to cabinlife worked out, and im sure this will also.
I followed "la vagabonde" from when they had single digits thousands of subscribers until little after they had their first child. They did nothing wrong but family focus is not for me. But even if they maybe lost me and a few more, they gained substantially more then they lost. They are now around 2 million i think.
No matter what people do in regards to subscribing, its not a reflection on them and their family. Its a reflection of content. Same as if your favorite tv series suddenly changed it formula. Maybe you continue to watch or maybe you don't.
No matter subscritpion status, I'm happy they get to live life as they want themselves, not based on what others want them to do. And even if the channel "tanks" (and i don't think it will), they will still have their family, maybe just different jobs.

So happy for you both. As an attorney for more than 30 years and running across all sorts of names of other attorneys and clients, this is something I have given a lot of thought. I suggest that you consider not only what this baby name will be but how it will come across as an adult if they want to be taken seriously. So many names are cute for babies and kids but not so cute as an adult which is going to be the majority of the baby's life. Plus, ease of spelling and not just something funky that will always be misspelled is a consideration. Best luck from Texas!

    • @effullgent

ease of spelling i think is very important! my husbands name was misspelled on important documents when he migrated here as a baby and that one mistake has given him so many problems during his citizenship process as an adult but he has also had it misspelled on school documents where it unenrolled him one semester and it was a whole problem. something i personally never thought of before then

Watching you now pregnant, vibrant, with SO much vitality is even more emotional to watch - I am crying the happiest tears for you. I travelled for a year, and it was amazing and incredible, but it was also very challenging and I often felt guilty near the end knowing how excited I was for mundane things like having all your bathroom gear at your sink, instead of fishing through a bag every single day for every little thing. It's nice to hear that these are common experiences, and that your travel goals can change.

So as you move along this pregnancy trust your gut! You’re at an age (and especially after defeating cancer) where you’re your best self.

Baby absolutely has his/her own opinion on what kind of sounds help out it to sleep, what bottles or milk work best, pacifiers, swaddlers, movement for soothing…even diapers, wipes and diaper cream. We went into it researching everything and picked “the best products”. Most of which my first baby didn’t like or it didn’t work for her. We had our second thinking, we been through it once and would be all set. Nope, she also had her own needs, and preferences.

After watching La Vagabonde for years, i really don't see an issue with raising your kids around cameras as long as there's nothing 'posey' about it! My family took handy-cams everywhere when we were kids and it so nice to watch those videos back now! :) I think as long as a parents don't let the kids in on the 'success' or 'fame' aspect of being on RUclips, it can be treated as just documenting lovely memories ♥️

It's a double-edged sword. I had some issues when I was a kid and random people my parents knew would somehow know me. Also, those videos were likely only shared with you and maybe close family or friends. With 1.2 million people, these videos (and the kids) are being shown to many people who don't "know" them. I hope Eamon and Bec use some privacy for the little one that has no consent to being shown.

I will say that I have a friend who, many years ago, had cancer. She fought, thankfully came out on the other end, and is still with us. She calls her birthdays her “get to be’s”. Right now there on break so they’re at grandmas house on the ranch helping grandpa with his irrigation lines and helping their older cousin build fence, in between they ride horses and swim in the creek. "Thanks for your advice, we will definitely think about that!" This is the phrase that saved me from all the baby advice coming from well-meaning family and friends. Some of it is helpful, some not what you might want, so that phrase lets you think about it all and use or discard it as you see fit. Wishing you the best!

It’s fun watching your pregnancy vids. I found out recently that I am pregnant, for the second time! I miscarried my first pregnancy. Needless to say I can’t help but be a little nervous and I’m trying to keep a sound mind. “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but I’d love, power, and a sound mind.” Watching your videos is encouraging and I am happy to be on this journey with Bec at the same time!

Miscarried the first also, more common than people know. Second took and she’s great. Such a good kid, heart of gold, funny, smart and beautiful. Blessed.

A trait that I noticed in Eamon a long time ago that I can SO appreciate is his knowledge and love of building/fixing/constructing/snake handling(just found out) and creative healthy cook.
As well the two of you have that great sense of adventure so cheers to you both the more the merrier!!🎉👶😀🐶💕😘

I'm so excited and happy you are sharing this journey with us! I have raised my children and now my kids are fur babies. I have two Boston Terrors (Terriers...lol) that are my loves. One is named Oliver (we call him Ollie) and the other is Finnigan (we call him Finn). I always loved the names Ollie and Finn for boys.

I don't often comment and have always been undecided whether I like Eamon & Bec's channel since I'm more biased on eating animal-based. It always makes me raise an eyebrow whenever they're trying to influence for a plant-based diet. However, I highly respect their answer on having their kid open to explore their preferred diet & not planning to force their own preferences down to them. A lot of our unhealthy judgements come from ignorance, so giving them an open option shows how great these two will be as a parent. I came here for Eamon's energy, but I'm staying for Bec's quirky personality ❤
