I've noticed the same thing with buying brakes for my cars, that drill and slotted discs and ceramic pads are just as much as OEM replacements.
I've heard the feedback on the drill and slotted discs and haven't had an issue with them either!

This is on the list of mods for the civic along with the integra bigger brake swap and rear disc conversion. Gotta get wheel spacers to do it tho bc the offset of my wheels. Those look good on there tho.

Too tight imo on the rotor screws, could be rough to remove next time. Also did u spray the shipping grease off the rotors with parts cleaner?

Yes I did and I am using a impact screwdriver so taking them off is no issue.

Were or are you a honda tech at one time? Or just through years of this make have you became so comfortable working on them?

I have just been working on them since 2006 to current and learned a lot over the years. The only kinda tech I have been is a tire technician
