Here is the Link to Part 2: ruclips.net/video/3qXUuTNag_Y/видео.html I saw the comment about adding a link to part 2 and I like the idea of coming back and adding it to the comment section. Thank you for suggesting adding it @macgroober1396
Both the 4 and 6 cylinder engines had those issues and they only issued a TSB I believe on the timing chains. Like you said, it really should have been a full on recall.
To be honest, it seems that the three big "USA" car makers all have become problematic. Between transmissions, electrical issues, lifter issues, timing chains, etc. they have a list of known issues. I mean every car make has its problems but some are bigger and worse than others. Just need to choose the problems you are willing to deal with I guess lol.
A lot of car makers are getting bad like this. I do a lot of Ford electrical issue/timing chains/transmission issues, Dodge has camshaft/lifter/transmission issues, GM has lifter/transmission/electrical/oil leak/timing chain issues, just about all imports have been having airbag recalls, Kia/Hyundai engine failures/electrical issues, Honda had head gasket issues for a while along with transmissions, Toyota has rust issue recalls in the early 2000's, Nissan has injectors/CVT/catalytic converters/electrical issue. I mean you really just have to pick your poison and choose which issues you are willing to deal with.
Don't forget to add the link to part 2 to this one after you release it. Thanks for the vid.
The big 3 have all forgotten how to build quality they all have there issues
I agree 100 percent. I feel like they are rushed to make a production date and the quality control is neglected some times.

They should recall 2011 Acadia. Timing chain ⛓️/engine junk

Wasn’t there a recall for this ?
It was a recall but the vehicle is out the date to have it recalled.
Another GM JUNK
