    Hello Dr. Ed,
I was watching a Meet Kevin channel show that he had Kathy Wood on as a guest and it was very informative. One thing that Ms Kathy Wood mentioned is that A.I. is going to happen a lot quicker than anyone imagines it will. She also said that this will create all kinds of Robots to start doing a lot of work and causing mass deflation and take away a hell of a lot of human jobs. If she's correct and I doubt that all these robots are going to be paying any FICA taxes; or any taxes for that matter; what will happen to the SS program when "Robots" are doing the majority of jobs in America?

The thing is the insurance most people have through their employer or through the marketplace have provider networks and managed care (prior auths). There are very few health insurance products out there that don’t have a provider network or prior authorizations. I wouldn’t automatically rule out a Med Advantage product as it may meet your needs. When I advise people on selecting a health insurance product, I always say, look at the provider network first and verify your doctors are in-network. The second consideration should be price.

Not necessarily part of the Project 2025 plan, but these same people believe that there should not be any social security and some would like to simply not pass the legislation funding it (which I believe must be done yearly as part of the budget package) - As for Medicare, I have seen articles expressing that they would like to make medicare a program in which you receive a voucher, which you will use to purchase your own health insurance - and so all of the plans you could purchase could be "medicare advantage" type plans, and of course they will be more expensive and it is unlikely that your voucher will actually cover the entire cost. - Personally, I am very worried about the "Red Wave" that may come to D.C. following the next election.

They will dismantle SS via dysfunction and inefficiency. trump has ready thousands of picked and trained employees/followers, including those he will pardon that are in jail for Jan 6th, for which to displace at least 50,000 seasoned governmental employees. SS is one of those departments. You will not always get your check because these folks do not understand how to do that - or want to. trump will use Project 2025 to end the Educational dept as well as the environmental department and many more departments. Odds are that we will never be able to vote again because trump can actually kill his opponents. The Supremacist Court just gave him that green light.

We need to eliminate the personal income tax and go to a VAT tax system. Wages will still be reported for benefit determination, but eligibility factors need to include age, occupation, and health.

Insurance agents can't charge people for helping them to find a plan, it's always free unless an agent does something illegal. So, not only your agents do it for free, all of them do it for free because they are compensated by insurance companies. You made it sound like only your agents do it for free and others are so bad and charge people for help in finding an insurance plan.

To be technical, they don’t do it for free. They are paid by the government for helping you, but they’re not paid by you. Here is that that gives them no interest in steering to one plan versus another.

@@weedermann but you might be able to collect his while you're under 70. Then you can get yours, and it will be a better deal for you. If you get yours before 70, then you don't get the full value of your account. That's what I'll be trying to do within a few years. My ex and I were married 17 years, but we never divorced when we went our separate ways. So I'm actually his widow as he died back in 2016. I'm going to attempt to get his social security as a survivor. I'm going to be 60 in Sept. I'm planning on doing this before I'm 62. I'm hoping it works out, and I can leave my account alone until I'm 67 and then I'll get the full benefits at that time.
