    Put your ROPS clevis pin through the bar from the other direction (fro the inside to the outside) and you won't have any problems getting the "lock pin" into position...

    I've had mine a year since new, it has 95 hrs now. I mow 7 acres of Florida grasses. The original blades were not great, easily bent. I bought two new sets that are thicker, great improvement. I did the engine oil. hydros oil and filters at 75 hours using the Hydro Gear kit. Cost was around $100 for all. Blade change: floor jack under center wheel of deck, jack and safety stand. 15/16 socket on a Ryobi impact. 3 blades off, 3 blades on. I love the sound of the hydros! This mower is a beast. The tires can be hard on the grass if you are aggressive on your three- point turn. I noticed that your arm rest are down. I found them uncomfortable. I flipped the arm rest backwards removed the pads and built a sound baffle from ply and AC insulation to absorb the noise from the engine. It makes two plus hour mow sessions nicer.

      It is a beast for sure. I don't mind the armrests.....though I love the sound of your modification.

    There is also a single grease fitting accessed from directly under and lines up about center of engine. Need a 12" flex hose to thread through main drive belt.

    Just crossed over 100 hours on my 2 yo Titan Max, just changed out the stock seat with Toro's suspension seat. Expensive but much better ride on the old cow pasture. Easy as adding the light kit.

    I bought this mower 3 years ago and agree about it being a great mower. I have 140 hrs on mine with no troubles. I mow 2.5 acres. I ended up taking my ROPS completely off as my land is basically flat and I have about 13 Leyland Cypress I mow under and I had some close calls even with the ROPS folded down the two fixed brackets hooked on some low hanging branches and lifted my front wheels off the ground like 3 different times! I feel much safer with it all removed. That assembly is very heavy too. Yes it's noisy. That's what commercial rated hydraulic pumps sound like.

      I may do that video in the future. It is easy. Just jack up the mower, unbolt them, and bolt them back on.

    I had planned to buy one of these in early 2021 and couldn't find one. I was told they quit making them for the time being because of lack of chips or something. At the time I think they were around $6,000. They were selling them at Home Depot or Lowes. I'm ex military and I would have gotten 10% off. But, could not find them. Mowers were hard to get. So, I got the Exmark Radius E and paid around $7,000 out the door. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure they're basically the same mower but I paid a $1,000 more. I'm sure there's differences but I thought they basically had the same hydro gears and this and that. I think Toro owns Exmark. Anyway, if they are basically the same, I have beat the s$@t out of mine! I grease the 5 or so fittings and change the oil yearly but I have hit small stumps too many times to count. I bought 4 acres in 2020 and built on it in 2021 and right when I got it I was just mowing over 1 inch saplings with the deck all the way up. My lawn is in great shape now so I'm not abusing it like I was right when I got it. I have around 160 hours on it and have had no issues. The Exmark blades have been great and haven't bent one yet. Hope it keeps holding up for ya!

      Yep, Toro does own eXmark. They are both very similar and equally amazing.
      I am demoing the new 2024 Titan MyRide right now and should have a video up on that soon. They made some sweet upgrades.

    A good idea when changing the filter is to use a marker and write the month and year on the filter (including recording the hours in the house log book), It is amazing how quickly time flies, tempus fugit!

    I've seen some good reviews on that mower.
    We have an Xmark Lazer Z. We have 13 acres of mostly bahia grass, and it struggles if the grass gets really tall. These mowers, even a commercial one like mine, aren't meant to be used like a bush hog, but that's how I use mine.
    We have one of the smallish Husqvarna riding mowers that I bought for next to nothing because the original buyer couldn't keep it running. I put less than $100 in it and it runs just fine. It's only a 19 hp Kohler, but it has a bagger so we use it right around the house to cut down on how much grass we drag inside. This also gives the chickens some clippings to scratch through.

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  Год назад

      Cool. This one has 26hp and just eats up everything in front of it. I love how it performs.

    Wow! This may sound weird but I miss mowing and having grass! 😄 We live on a Rocky Mountain annnd have no grass but all the wild grass that is up high enough on the hill, so we don’t need to mow. Oh how we do miss having grass. 😊 if you’re going to have a mower, it sounds like that’s the one to have! Thank you for sharing!

    I've had ours now for just over a year. It has 59 hours on it, and it has been one of the best investments I've ever made. I mow our 3 acres with it. The cut is perfect at this point. Our property is flat, and I've never hit anything with it. It will cut perfect lines in your yard. I do an angle cut on my front yard, and it looks professionally done. The transmission is a little loud here and there, but I don't care because this mower is an absolute beast!

    Ive had my eye on this for a while. Im a landscaper and i may be in the market for one soon as i gradually acquire larger properties. I would only use it for about 35% of my portfolio. It looks like its really well built.

    I have a toro titan zero turn , looks about the same as yours. I like it but with 10 acres it takes me about 6hours to mow the whole homestead. I am sure i should have gone for a bigger model or even a tractor at this point. 60 inch blade is not enough in my opinion.

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  Год назад +1

      Luckily I don't have to mow that much. I have a lot of heavy tree cover that keeps it to a minimum.

      @@CountryLivingExperience yeah i didn't imagine 10 acres would be so big to maintain. between october and May i didn't really need to mow since all the grass got burned during winter, but lately, it grows back in less than a week, i can't keep up... but at least it gives a lot of food to the cow.
