    These Toro Zero Turn Mowers are really nice... I’ve got the HDX2000 w/myride and the Kawasaki engine. 7 gallon fuel tank which is just enough for mowing.
    Nice mower you got pal!

    My Toro Titan has the gas cap on top of the "fender" instead of the side. I can rest my fuel can on the mower as I fill so who needs a gas gauge when you can see the fuel level in such a large mouth? I don't see most of these "upgrades" as a plus and they don't appear to improve the cut nor the ride experience. Other than the dual anti- scalping rollers and the new braking system, there are no real "gotta haves" on the 2024 model. I'll stick with my older model thank you.

    I have been trying to decide between the Titan Max, and the Titan MyRide. I watched your other review. With this new unit would you still choose the Titan Max? Is there a new version of the Titan Max as well??? Thank you for your review. Liked and Subbed.

      Welcome to the channel.
      It is a really hard choice to be honest. I wish Toro would combine the two together. There is no new Max that I know about. I think I may take the MyRide since it is a bit more comfortable but I would miss the larger gas tank and the ROPS of the Max.

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  15 дней назад

      Those are not features on this model. The Titan max has a seatbelt. They sell an aftermarket headlight kit for the ROPS if it had one. We did a video on that in the past.

    FWIW, I'll share that I have a 2020 myride 54 (not titan) that has 3 things shown here: the auto locking brake, the easy-off pulley covers (yep, TOO easy), and the simple-adjusting myride (only the one adjustment needed).
    Of course it has the older top-filling fuel tank. I like that I can look down while filling to see how close I am to full. I can have dozens of seconds to notice. With this this new one having an indicator on the other side, can you see it if you lift the seat, perhaps?
    I removed the pulley covers, as they were ALWAYS coming off on their own. Shocked they'd not improved that in 4 years.
    Finally, the hydros in mine are NOT serviceable, and one now loses power after about 30 minutes. I have to let it cool for another half hour before I can proceed. That'll be about $2k to replace. Before that, it was a tank that took all I gave it--even taller grass sometimes, and hills...which likely contributed to the demise of the hydro. Hope yours holds up better.

    Toro has closeout pricing right now on their left-over 2023 Titan models. The new Titan features are nice but it's hard to justify the additional $900 for basically the same machine. I debated the Bad Boy Elite vs the Toro Titan MyRide and comfort won out over simplicity as I went with the Toro. Just thinking about mowing the 4 acres of former hay field made my back ache and I'm hoping the MyRide will take care of me for the long term.

    I love the Toro Titan and I plan to purchase one soon. Maybe they will even come out with a HAVOC edition next year. 😎👍🏻 But I think you should know, a lot of people are complaining about those deck mounts. Where the chain was flexible, those mounts slide up and down and hit the frame when the deck is compressed. I have seen more people have gone back to the Toro dealership and had those brackets replaced with the old chain mount.

    • @CountryLivingExperience
      @CountryLivingExperience  3 месяца назад +1

      Awesome!
      I haven't had any issues with the brackets yet. I have put about 5.5 hours on it. Seems to work really well for me. I'll certainly keep an eye on it though. I did have the pulley shield pop off again while cutting and I did not hit anything with it. Not sure what is going on there.

    Congrats on your new mower. As a loyal BadBoy customer over the past 2 decades , I’ve heard a lot of good things about the new Toro’s recently across several social media platforms. seems they have really made some great design improvements and additions in this latest update.
    Regardless of brand when you have a lot of acreage to maintain like most of us homesteaders do, it takes an expensive investment to keep it cut down without killing yourself and you want dependable equipment at a reasonable price. With Regular oil / filter charges and hydro service you’ll have many years of happy cutting! God bless

      Yep, good regular maintenance and care for the mower will help it to last a long time. Buying quality to start with is key for large rough acreage.

      You're welcome. The blades are insanely tough. I sharpen them about once a month. I am not sure how many times you can sharpen them in total because I have never had to replace any for that reason yet.

    I have a 1-month old 2024 48” Titan MyRide with Kawasaki engine. I had an issue with the MyRide platform, it was twisted way over to the left side, almost touching the frame. When riding on rough ground, the definition of my back yard, it was hitting the frame. I loosened the two bolts holding the back on the assembly attached at the light colored casting. It sprung right back to center, so I just retightened.
    On the gas tank gauge, so far I can judge the fullness of the tank by looking at the tank while filling. I guess there wasn’t room got the gauge on the left side.

    I’ve heard and read concerns with how Toro treat their employees. Also more often than not, people have complained on how the ROPS were installed incorrectly with respect to the fixed bolts vs the pin. The myride is amazing and the new parking brake is the way it should be on all zero turns. It was a tough decision between Toro and Bad Boy, but I decided to go with the 61” Rogue.
