This is like that movie "The Guyver" starring Mark Hamill. Or that movie "The Guyver: Dark Hero" starring David Hayter!
Fun fact: Mark Hamill did not star in Guyver. He was just the best name to put on the box.
Young Justice Season 2, best season ever, did a great job with Blue Beetle.
That story also seems to have been pretty comic book accurate. And yeah, it was all around a great story. Young Justice really put the character on my radar.

With the way that the Third Blue Beetle is gaining a LOT more popularity than the other two before him, it’s only appropriate for him to get not only a proper origin tale, but finally, at LONG last, he’d get his OWN movie for this coming year, right? Though I’m not quite sure whether or not the PREVIOUS Blue Beetles will appear at ALL in the movie though………
right? I mean of all three owners of the blue beetle each have their own fans. Each story run on the comics are pretty good.
I met Blue Beetle Jaime while watching the iconic cartoon "Batman: the Brave and the Bold" as a kid. I think his crush on the Huntress was the best part of the show 😂

Jamie Reyes is my favorite Blue Beetle and one of my fDC Comics characters.
I always wondered about the colour of the Scarabs. Are they every colour of the rainbow or is it a Power Ranger situation and mainly primary colours with a mix of randos?
Why would the blue beetle bond to Superman if he isn’t human? He isn’t the best of Earth because he isn’t from Earth.
Blue Beetle was awesome in Young Justice. Probably the best cartoon out there.

I think this new Blue Bettle film has awesome MCU level CGI.
Not sure how i feel about this new origins. I mean it’s cool and dope and coherent in itself. There’s just a part of me that knows it ignores a real history i experienced as a kid growing up. The legacy flip from Ted Kord to an ancient Mayan dude🤷🏾♂️ the reality is Ted was lovable character. His time as Blue Beetle, regardless of how you rank him, was special for any one who felt like an underdog. He got Smashed by Doomsday; came back. Laughed off and abandoned by his own friends; still saved the day; got killed. That’s as much of a friggin’ unsung heroes tale if any.
I thought the Oans weren't a people, but were from all sorts of civilisations, but look blue and such when they become Oans.

The Black Adam trailer looked better than the Blue Beetle trailer, which was not good at all. Acting wasn't good, generic story approach, and corny jokes, pretty much like everything that made the dcu fall way behind marvel and need a complete overhaul

Looks like they are trying to land somewhere between Spiderman and Shazam in terms of atmosphere. The big sword was cool but man I'd rather see some giant two handed buster Canon looking stuff. I've been hyped for this movie since it was announced so I hope they don't ruin it.
Does Dan Garrett nor Ted Kord get the scarab first in this iteration if so I think they might have made a mistake here it makes no sense to have Blue Beetle without Garrett or Kord especially in the comics.

After hearing this story......I am appalled on the misconceptions of the History of the Aztecs and Mayans....as a Cultural Anthropologist...It is The Mayans and their Civilization the creates the Temples and Pyramids that are in place today after 4,000 years. And the Mayans were never conquered by The Aztecs. NEVER!!!! According to Anthropologists and Scientists, The Mayans just disappear and no one knows why? DC should have started and ended their story with The Mayans!!!

Prefer it when you are just talking about your favorite or best or even more obscure storylines, comparisons, and character origins. I'm not unsubbing, just wanted to put a card in the suggestion box.
Can you do more about it please. I feel it's a lot more to know about.
Sadly I don't think this video is going to help newcomers much since its the New 52 origin, Rebirth and Graduation Day largely ignore it due to be blunt the New 52 run being utter trash and go back to something far closer to the original run which is something truly special.

So I take it this is how the first movie of the blue beetle begin and how this young man gets his blue beetle powers. Don’t get me wrong but this is my first time hearing about the blue beetle. I didn’t even know about the existence of this comic that’s apart of marvel until now lol. Believe it or not? But it looks like part 2 of the blue beetle movie would be taking place before this movie takes place. So they will most likely show how this person gets the blue beetle powers before it even landed on earth. So what I’m saying is that part 2 will be about the origins of this cosmic entity superpower. Or possibly part 3? Who knows, but if I get it right? I was born to become a self-made millionaire.
