- Galactus has arrived in the Ultimate Universe, and the Ultimate heroes must stop him from destroying their entire universe. As Galactus decimates various planets, the Ultimates face him head-on while others make last-ditch attempts to deter him. Meanwhile, Reed Richards fights for redemption, M.O.D.O.K. prepares for the end, and Miles Morales heads to the Marvel Universe for clues to save his world. Will this be the Ultimate heroes' last stand?

Best part of this was Ultimate Richard seeing 616 and mentally breaking down. Not in a whole dramatic way, but seeing a world that is far better than his own by a huge part of his counterpart. 616 is FAR from perfect, but he sees it far better than his own universe
In the SECRET WARS event, Ultimate Reed gets to work with his 616 counterpart, and even chastises him for being compassionate, only for 616 to respond with “It’s easy to think for yourself when you have nothing you love more than yourself”.
@@genoveus That WAS a super great part of tSecret Wars! It would be amazing if we got to see the younger F4 from the Michael B Jordan version of the F4 and they used HIM for the Evil Reed and we got to see that scene!
Obviously it's better than his crappy universe. No Pedo Wolverine, no nasty incest Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Mr Fantastic is one of the only decent ideas to come out of the Ultimate universe
crazy how after all of this The Maker never redeemed himself and now we have a new Ultimate universe
the moment when ultimate reed tell susan that he saw their dauther and his face of regret really hit me in the feels
yeah. at that moment, he _knew_ he fucked up. there's a pathos around all the Reeds (even Maker) where they all deeply, truly regret how their actions hurt (and basically mutilated) the people about whom Reed cares the most. There's a wonderful story from 616, presented as a one-shot issue that was sold as a loss-leader, I got my copy for a dime, Volume 3, #60, October 2002. "World's Cheapest Comic Magazine, 9¢"

@crimsonninja4097 it's not semantics sir....Its only Jersey City NJ not New Jersey City NJ and the only reason the college name is Named New Jersey City University because the Previous name was Jersey City State College...Once the New Jersey State Commission approved its University status they Changed the name to NEW Jersey City University to distinguish it from its former college status....I lived in NJ most my life and went to Jersey City State University before going to William Paterson so i have first hand knowledge.

I’ll always have a sweet spot for the Ultimate Universe. When I was a kid the library had thick issues of Ultimate Spider-Man and XMen. Didn’t know they were the OG characters
I've always found pretty fascinating the crossovers in franchises composed of multiverses where villains from one popular reality attack another that's also very famous. DC is in fact full of such events, such as the attacks of Superboy-Prime (one of the few characters that have not been affected at all by the abundant reboots) to the different realities.
Superboy-Prime is one of the coolest characters I ever read.

That would ne crazy if the MCU went the direction of making Reed Richards "The Maker" version. Would be kinda coool. Maybe a multiverse version.
Send him to the negative zone there's nothing for him to eat there.... and they know this how? He basically converts matter into energy, and anti-matter is still matter. So now we'll get ultimate Galactus as he consumes the whole negative zone!

For it's faults, I miss the Ultimate Universe. It was nice reading Marvel characters in a more "real" world. They did try to be edgelords a bit too much.

I think I was an unusual young Marvel comics fan because I got into Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate X-Men in 2000 without realizing it was a new universe. So when the MCU happened (and keeps happening) I couldn't figure out why ppl were so upset by some of the changes, because to me it's basically what I grew up with! As an adult I got to newly discover the 616, like a citizen of the Ultimate Universe coming thru for the first time!
You and me might be the same age then because I have the exact same story. First Spider-Man comic was ultimate universe Spider-Man. Also had a Spider-Man encyclopedia with mainly 616 information in it, so as a kid, it was very confusing, but like a kid, I just also rolled with it.

Nice. I remember right after Ironman one, I said "They're going to base everything off of the Ultimates because that's the closest to real world they can get." And people had no clue what I was talking about.
Years later I start watching Rob and he said the same things I was saying to people.
It's fun being in a community of people who actually enjoy the world of comics.
I already found Galactus to already be hard to beat but now with two Galactus fusion good luck heros
Sorry for anyone that mentioned this already in the comments, but Marvel is releasing a 4-issue limited series called "Ultimate Invasion" this June by Jonathan Hickman and Bryan Hitch.

@Kyle Stewart Hickman is a good writer. I want to see him do more character work, though. He's always been very high-concept.
If I remember correctly Galactus combines with the ultimate universe Galactus which is a machine hivemind that consumes planets made by the kree. Am I right anyone let me know.

Not to mention the fact, thor's hammer and armor were made by infinity stones (ultimate's universe version of the stones, wielded by a tony stark).
So thor's gear was pretty good, enough to give a mega-galactus pause

Plot hole... Galactus doesn't need a machine to absorb the energy of a planet. Look at what he did to the Skrull home planet
That is 100% correct. The last thing that the Skrulls saw was Galactus sinking into the planet
Per the original Secret Wars, the machine only makes the energy absorption more efficient. With a world as rich in life as Earth, he doesn't want to waste any of it. But if he gets hungry enough he'll just go Cookie Monster on it.

Agreed. He doesn't NEED it. But it may have been the equivalent of when you realize your'e not well and you don't want to eat crappy food. He was lost, he wasn't familiar with that universe, and didn't want to eat all willy nilly. The machine's kind of like a filter.

Galactus had absorbed his Ultimate self and grew in power. This just show how low in power the ultimate universe compared to their prime selves, does anyone remember when Blue Marvel ala One Punch Man Ultimate Hulk with one hit.
First i hated that comic so much, but Blue Marvel grow up on me + Ultimate Hulk is a joke 😂
Not to mention the 616 hulk defeated the ultimate hulk.
The only one that's arguably stronger in Ultimate then 616
And those are Spider-Man/Peter Parker & Goblin/Norman Osborn
Because The OZ-Serum (the Serum that granted the Powers to Peter & Norman) is also confirmed to grant Biological-Immortality
Ps: In this video C.E. said Ultimate Spider-Man is dead but in truth he is alive
He is faking his death because when he regained consciousness Miles was already around and he basically said: ''well there's already another Spider-Man around so there's no more need for me''
You know, this story was quite good!!!! This is could a good way to introduce Galactis to the MCU of course the plot would not end like this, but it is interesting

Where exactly where was it that Ultimate Reed went bad? Ultimate FF was a great storyline, but I must have lot track of it somewhere along the way.
Reed had a slow descent, I think. However, Sue turning down Reed's proposal may have been the beginning catalyst.
A combo of reed being tricked into going to the marvel zombies universe and almost dying also in this universe instead of having an absentee father his father was abusive to him for him not liking sports and sue turning him down

Have you done a character explained on Krakoa? I’m trying to find it on your channel but can’t find it. I’m a bit confused because some sources say Krakoa is a living mutant while other sources say he is a mutate. If he is a mutant would you classify him as an omega level mutant?

Some were. Quicksilver was faster, Hawkeye had " enhancements" and Captain America was about 5 tons strong. Hell Iron Man had an Armor that was as Big as the Helicarrier. Their Black Panther also had Adamantium.
The Ultimate universe FF already knew other universes existed when Reed found the zombie universe and was tricked by zombie Reed (as zombie Reed pretended 2 be main universe Reed) in opening the dimensional hole on his (Ultimate Reed) end. That even happened years before the Spider-men event.
Ultimate universe Peter is back alive for some years now. Either Miles stories currently r not great, he doesn't fit well in main universe, he fits better in Ulimate universe and that universe is back for some time as well.

It always pains me to see Galactus nerfed. At one time when Galactus showed up all hell was about to break loose but in this story he is pathetic.
