Speaking of "A Death in the Family," I've always found pretty fascinating the alternate page the authors made in case fans voted for Jason to live, which shows a blissful Batman holding Jason's body while yelling, "He's alive! Thank God!" I wonder how the Batman stories would have continued from that point if that page was the one used at the end. Anyway, it was colored and featured in "Batman Annual 25", the special issue that tells how Jason was revived, as "the reality that should have been", according to the narrator. They should have definitely adapted it for the interactive film

I think there is an episode like the in Batman The Brave and The Bold.
There's a story where Batman is investigating the Joker because he found out there are 3 men who are all the Joker at once (literally called Batman: The Three Jokers), and he wants to find out who the real one is. It's really well written and you should give it a read.
As someone who's lived in LA all his life, I have to admit this comic was weirdly accurate and honestly scary with what it does.

Well the Joker is a master chemist some sort of Toxicology with and apparently understands aerodynamics and mechanical engineering at a high level as well.
So when batman dresses as the joker he comes "the batman who laughs". When joker dresses as batman he becomes "the joker who broods".
Names for the Joker as Batman:
•"Bat"- Man
•Batter up Man (baseball reference)
•The Mad Batter (having just gone after The Mad Hatter)
•The Bat Who's On First [Abbot and Costello's 'Whose on First' reference]
•The Dark Strike
•Bunt Man
None of them are any good, but there you have it.

i guess ive hit a plateau when it comes to these comics. I knew clayface was going to be one of the jokers. Its getting increasingly harder to have a impactful twist now. Last time i was legit intrigued and shocked was The Last Ronin

I LOVED the last ronin but the plot was pretty predictable to me. The only thing I found really surprising was Mikey’s death. I thought he’d stay alive to train Casey more
@@Pondy33 trying to figure out who it was was always intriguing for me and how the developed the story. I wasn't into the comics as a kid, only the shows and movies so i didn't consider Mikey's potential in the story.
@@mumuvp I kinda figured it would be him because he’s the least obvious option. So, in a way he was kind of most obvious. Plus since it’s revealed in the first issue the mystery is gone for the rest of the series
@@mumuvp I always been a fan but just now getting into the comics. I had no idea that splinter said mikey was more naturally talented than all 3 of his brothers combined. He just wasn’t as disciplined as them. Also the flashback where he gets literal shell shocked in battle and splinter tells him not to die a coward is my favorite scene and so damn good
@@Pondy33 it's honestly surprising how many "plot twists" can be predicted by just picking the option that seems the least likely.
I did really like The Last Ronin though.
Bruce at Jason's funeral: "I'm sorry, Jason. I almost saved you...but I couldn't...I couldn't..."
Alfred: "It annoyed me the messy way he always left his room... Now I'd give all the money in the world just to see that junk lying on the floor again..."
Dick: "It's my fault. I shouldn't have given him the suit at such a young age. I should have been Robin a bit longer..."
Beast Boy: "He never liked my jokes, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't a good boy. No one should die that young..."
Donna Troy: "Not to mention how handsome he was. I wouldn't have minded dating him under other circumstances..."

What did I just read
In regards to Joker's intelligence, Pre New 52, he beat Ra'z Al Ghul in chess by playing erratically but with purpose and seemingly little effort. If he wasn't so interested in random chaos and blowing stuff up, he would have been running the world from behind the scenes years ago.

This kind of reminds me of the damion: son of Batman story. Where there was this guy who took the place of the joker because he was in some joker retirement home somewhere. Only for the real joker to kill him to take his place back.

This version of Joker-Batman already has a name: “Joker: The Man who Stopped Laughing”, it’s a reversal of “Batman: The One Who Laughs”.
Or there’s “Bat-Man”, it’s different because Bruce Wayne Batman doesn’t have a Hyphen, and also it’s a Baseball Bat instead of the Flying Mammal.

Nope that’s a character assassination Red hood’s character is rooted in the ideology of doing whatever it takes to make a change, that includes killing and working with villains.

@@FFmaxxx By super hero standards Red hood isn’t a “good guy” but his plans get results that work out for everyone in the long run. Red hood worked with mob and used lethal force in both under the Red hood and his 2016 run so yes that being his ideology is a fact not an opinion. The character has toned down on killing and feels bad about it to an extent which isn’t a good thing due to all the things I’ve brought up.

I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and I think joker would call himself “LAUGHMAN” mostly cause it sounds really close to Batman. But I just see him correcting people in his Batmanesc cape and cowl. I need to draft up some pictures of how I imagine him in my head.
So I think the reason the joker that never left Gotham survived being shot in the head is because of Dionysus or whatever that stuff was called that is related to Lazarus that exists under Gotham.

Very different Joker, but there was an episode of the 2004 "The Batman" show (S2E4) where Joker infects Batman with Joker venom, and then dresses up as Batman and "fights crime" by killing people who break minor laws. Unfortunately I can't find any cosplays of it.
