I am not a fan of mantle sharing, so I would prefer the original Blue Beetle to get the spotlight. "But", I have seen Jaime in the Young Justice, Justice League Action, and Brave and the Bold series, and he is entertaining. Sure, like Miles Morales, no doubt there's the diversity push with the minority thing, but the innocent minor utilizing street smarts is a good character template that never gets old. As for the Scarab itself, as a fan of Guyver, I can appreciate it as well. Still, Batman and Spiderman will always be my favorites because they are not really over powered tanks with powers only bound by imagination. I also love how all the original Robins and Batgirl became their own heros rather than becoming Batman, much better than mantle sharing. It doesn't even make sense with Green Lanterns, no human Lanterns ever, then there's 6 human Lanterns in a row???
@@jeremybrummel3254 Thing is, Jaime has been DC Comics' main Blue Beetle since 2006, something that's also reflected in other media (from Batman The Brave And The Bold to Justice League Action to even Tiny Titans). The most iconic parts of the Blue Beetle Mythos (Khaji-Da being a sentient alien weapon rather than a magical object) come from him, and he's the one people think to when "Blue Beetle" is mentioned; Ted Kord, on the other hand, is mostly only relevant as "Booster Gold's partner". In DC's case, "mantle-sharing" is frequent and usually a very big deal; it's not like in Marvel, where most of the time it's either gimmicky or a lazy attempt to cash in on "diversity" (that's usually the case with "legacy characters" from 2015 onward). So, it's not too rare for a "legacy character" to redefine their superhero mythos and become the iconic (or at least just-as-iconic) bringer of the mantle, especially if the former "bringers" weren't very popular in the first place. I can't think of a better example of that than Flash, a character that is associated with compassion and a jokey persona... but that's Wally West, not Barry Allen, yet those attributes are often ported to Barry in non-comic media (basically, the "iconic Flash" is actually Wally West, even though Barry Allen's name is used more often due having been the first Flash in main continuity).
The code transfer thing is still not as stupid as when they didn't the same thing in Godzilla vs Kong, replicating an unknown form of energy from a magic axe.

For 6 people at a full service restaurant you tip higher
@@austincde6 people is bare minimum to classifed as a large party
@@austincde, At a full service restaurant you shouldn't need to tip anything at all as it'll already be a part of the bill. Tipping is dumb actually and is the reason that charity has to do most of the social society work rather than government or companies. x:x
@@nihkhdtigerson1599 yes in a perfect world tipping would be banned because getting paid $2.50 an hour is criminal, you don't have to tell me twice, but since we dont live in a utopia, tipping a service worker is as close to solidarity as not eating out at all imho
This movie was “ plot convenience, the movie “ any time a problem arises in this movie they instantly get the solution
A friend recommended this channel, I no longer consider him a friend.
Ok the Serenity clip was uncalled for
I agree. I was having so much fun till that scene.. +10000 sins to this video for showing that.
But why is it uncalled for? Something something sacred?
1:08 25% is too big of a tip
Watch young justice for a fantastic representation of blue beatle
This!
Haven't seen the movie but comic wise Ted kords tech is based on study of the scrub, just cause he couldn't use it doesn't mean he couldn't study and reverse engineer it
Haven't watched this channel in years
SAME HAD TO CHECK IT OUT XD
Love this channel.
Bro could have added "cliche" to the end of every sin and it probably would've still made sense for this movie
Man that ending credit stab to the heart with Wash's death was uncalled for. Too soon, man! Too soon! XD
15:24 Poor Chespirito didnt want someone to goon while watching his comedy shows
Please do “ you don’t mess with the zohan “ 😭😭
To everyone who understood what SMAC is without ever seeing that acronym before, you're legendary and our bus to hell leaves in an hour 😂😂
Is it something I'll regret googling the meaning of?
@@Senkoau I Googled it and didn't find anything crazy, so I guess it didn't show up in my search. So now it's driving me crazy lol
@@rikorobinson Suck My Ass, then usually something like "Combined". Meaning like, suck a bunch of asses. The C can also stand for other things, as in SMA, C... but I'm not typing any of the C words. Words. Plural.
I'm worried you're all 12 and I've already corrupted you.
Sadomacho average c*nnilingus?
Wtf is SMAC???!!!!!
Now that it came to my mind I can't unthink it: I would pay big bucks to see a jackass cinemasins video.
I wish I could give extra likes for the “Fifth Element” reference
"I know the job market is tough, but i am not sure he looked as hard as he could have."
Way to prove you DON'T have any idea about the job market right now.
THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR!!!
Blue Beetle doesn't use projectile spikes, there's no reason he would need to run one through a Wash!
"Inappropriate use of Alan Tudyk gets you all of the sins" - Jeremy
Anyone else use CinemaSins to watch movies that they'll never be bothered to watch in full?
I had no idea there was a blue beetle movie 😅
now that was a Subway going in I'd expect to see H&r block right next to it. it's practically a meme. I know because my brother used to work at H&r block several different locations
+9000 sins for the leaf on the wind outtake
Zatoichi is an amazing series of movies!
the foo fighters reference 😂
My dad actually one upped that heart attack thing about ten years back. We usually speak at least once a week and yet, only about three years ago, my step mom mentioned that he had a heart attack. He was literally never going to tell me.
12:38 sharks have sensitive noses, the repellant is probaply jsut a very thick pepper spray and actually the most believable item he posesses, he has stuff that is like literally unholy I think, I am pretty sure his trophy room contains at least one world ending device.
Indeed sharks and rays have receptors on their snouts (known as the “ampullae of Lorenzini”) that can sense electrical fields. It’s like a “sixth sense”, super badass!
all these decades and your still defending contrivedman to the hill get a life mortals.
@@kennykiller That Batman ist contrived is the whole fucking point of that character, he is unable to cope with anything in his head which makes him allthough his high intelect extremly irrational and sometimes very emotional out of character but in context making totally sense; pondering about the complexity of fictive characters is actually quite the entertaining hobby for some of us.
Complaining that other discuss things you don't care for and then tell them to get a life calling others mortals... Thats whack.
It has its problems, but it was still a fun DC movie.
The SMAC line had me dead.😂😂😂😂😂
What does SMAC even mean
2:23 Hard disagree. My name is Micah (pronounced: MAI-kuh). I have met dozens of people who, right after hearing me say my own name, would then call me "MEE-kuh." People are stupid.
Sin: How did the worker get back into the lab after his keycard was swiped
unreal work, great video
Excellent movie review
She stole the pass card to take the beetle, did she then return the pass card since he found himself back?
I'd add 10 sins for calling Batman a fascist for absolutely no reason.
Nice try
ah movies the one place where aliens use the same programming language as humans all while have 0 defenses against hacking or viruses
Lol is a "photonic emitter" just a light?
Like a flashlight I guess
Or an xray machine. I might start calling them that.
I am so happy they did another Highlander reference
cinemasins speaking spanish is something i never knew i needed
Second here. Love to see the content. Because of you guys i cinemasins life everyday😂😂
Spiderman? This is The Greatest American Hero
I freaking LOVED Blue Beetle! It was such an epic movie and I'm glad to see CinemaSins finally sin it!!!
13:00 i cant believe you didnt sin them not using the FF7 Victory music for that blatant Buster Sword/Spin rip off. Haha. Also FF7 Rebirth came out today so -100 Sins!
I thought the same lol
I recognized that sword as soon as I saw it.
skipped over the scene where he "kicked" their asses but in reality he just killed everyone
Thanks for the video
I liked this movie, even if it is essentially Mexican Iron Man 1. One of DC's rare good movies
I'm going to say the answer is "all the scenes, Skip."
11:25 would’ve been the perfect time for that little Mexican girl meme 🤷🏽♀️
After the score is given you played one edited scene, and all I can say is TOO SOON!! You know which one I mean 🍁🌬💀.
"whos fighting me ? You or the bug?"
Blue Beetle? More like Bloated Bollywood nightmare!
8:05 How is Batman a fascist ? Not contesting, just curious.
10:12 Well, it's his family so they kinda have to, no ?
11:38 Well, we generally never know why heroes are chosen, right ? And half the time a answer is given, it's a about a very subjective matter like "a pure heart".
Ironman/Robocop/Spiderman/Venom...😂😂😂
In the industry, we call that a Guyver
