I wonder if there is an arms race between brands to make the most boring unchallengeable protagonist? OPM was literally designed to make fun of the unchallengeable protagonist trope. With Hulk, now there is no external struggle. Engaging characters should have both external and internal struggles. Instead we have a character who's shtick is infinite power and who can destroy universes with a fist and a design ripped off from Doomsday in DC, plus spurting red lighting out of his shoulder spikes. @@killerpumpkin4394 Then they'd need Cyttorak to make a new Gem because in current cannon it was destroyed (even though previously even doctor strange couldn't destroy it, but screw canon I guess) and Juggernaut is now relying on the bands of Cyttorak, but has a weakened connection to the elder god, directly stated by Cyttorak himself. Basically Juggernaut is smaller, has only a fraction of his original power, and wears a tacky costume with dumb glowing red lines. The writers didn't know what to do with the depowered good guy Juggernaut so they just dumped him off on an obscure team nobody cares about. Basically what always happens with the 'turns good and got nerfed' trope is used. It's too bad, he used to be a badass. Anyhow, adding his original powers to Hulk would be redundant to the point of a joke.
I just want to say out of hype that we all know who Titan is and it’s going to one day lead to something MAJOR when it fully comes out. That’s without a doubt TOBA’s personality trying to escape. It seems like ever since the immortal hulk run it’s gotten better at trying to take control. For it to ever come into fruition though, there has to be another BIG Crisis. The OG Beyonder is up to something, and TOAA warned the Defenders about a coming new all powerful being Something BIG BIG is coming
Its not coming through titan hulk though, I think they are constantly solidifying that THIS hulk is the strongest and that his ability truly is to get INFINITELY stronger
I don't know why people keep suggesting that the writers went completely away from the Immortal Hulk character storyline. I see this being a pretty continuous flow in his storyline canon but with even more context being added to his mythology of where he gets his limitless power and what it looks like when it shows up. By the way, The Hulks power creep since his origin issues is WAYYYYYYY off the charts. Titan Hulk easily dispatched 500 Hulks (trying to kill him) in mere minutes. The Immortal Hulk story arc introduced us to a 'Cosmic Hulk' that destroys the entire universe and everyone in it (Hulk#25)... If you compare that to what this story arcs 'Titan Hulk' can do, you start to see a narrative that the Hulks ultimate potential is pretty much death itself to all of reality if he's ever UNable to contain his ultimate form. In Immortal Hulk he had a conversation with The One Above All about it....not many characters in the Marvel Universe get the attention of TOAA....Imagine if Titan Hulk would have emerged during Bruce/Hulks contact with Odin/Thor in the last story arc? It would've been neat watching Titan Hulk swat Thor away like a gnat. Even gods have other gods to look up to in todays marvel universe.
Just feels like another power creep situation, kind of boring, it feels like "look at this overpowered character become more overpowered in his imagination or something iunno have it!" And well, it just gets boring, lacking much a plot relevance to anything, perhaps even itself.
@@alleywaydude399 This. Excess power creep always results in protagonists without external challenge. That was the entire theme that OPM lampoons, but in his situation a lampshade is hung from the problem and it is something that torments the protagonist with boredom. If he took his fights and self too seriously then the show would be boring instead. That's basically what unchallengeable protagonists become in everything else, and what essentially ruined Dragon Ball.
@mikerude5073 I mean super strong and overpowered characters that have development and so on IS possible. Just marvel doesn't know how to show it, past versions of hulk HAVE shown this, Hulk in the past fought between monster and man, and it was a conflict that remained within him and outside of him, he was awesome but now? He's just OP for the sake of it and mind you I love op characters, like the chaos king and what not but he falls into the category of just being an awesome and badass villain, he wasn't just strong, he was threatening, devious, monstrous, and that's what I like, but at times being more down to earth can be really cool, it has been years with hulks internal struggle, and with all the development surely by now we could see a more reformed Hulk who's cool in every aspect...instead we get even more internal struggle, but not even a good form of it, it's just Hulk beating God tier characters in his mind, it doesn't form a struggle, it's dumb power creep bs.
Love it when Russell is behaving silly when speaking sense very entertaining I never do serious serious or silly silly but serious silly or silly serious is right up my street.
So are we all agreeing the Titan Hulk is the most powerful version of the Hulk now? Also, I wanna see more God Ball! that looks like a hulks ultimate game!
Wow. Yet again, another Hulk. Everytime you turn around he's now stronger than before. But HE always claims he's the strongest there is, but apparently that ain't strong enough. Not to mention, he has NO weaknesses, just strong for no reason. Here we have 500 hundred world breaker hulks, and none of them break the world they're on. Tacky. Finally there's an enemy that is kicking these immensely strong hulks ass. Titan Hulk. Next week they'll come out with yet another Hulk who is stronger than this.

I think the "Worldbreaker" term for hulk(s) is starting to get overused and it's starting to lose meaning. I feel like the point of it originally was supposed to be the peak of his power because of the synergy of hulk and banners rage, now it just feels like a standard measurement of power. Honestly reminds me of Omega Level Mutants or even Super Saiyan from DBZ
Those aren't worldbreaker level hulks. Hulk has been able to do that for decades already as savage hulk or when he was going by green scar. Those are just baseline hulks. This guy tends to over exaggerate when it comes to hulk

It’s easy to write characters going Op for a wow factor but then how do you handle filler fights lol this series fell off quick for me
This we'rent even world breakers, i don't know why Rob titled it that.... Also Hulk has always been a worldbreaker wayyy before that title was popular or given to him. . Hulk has universal+ level feats since the 80s
@@David_Scar to be fair the were coring planets for sport, so while I think the title is technically applicable, I think OPs point was that technically they shouldn't be able to fight in an atmosphere without destroying the planet. This is why I wish Donny Cates and Ryan Ottley gave us more of an explanation about the solar system in this new alternate reality. Like how big are these planets and how much bigger are they compared to Earth and our solar system.
I think this is more of an issue with laziness. We've seen massive fights where characters go from planet to planet destroying them in their battles. I think the issue is you just have to keep upscaling and each time it's less impressive. Destroy mountain, destroy Planets, destroy a Universe, destroy Multiverse etc. New Villians that are even more ridiculously powerful than the next, new forms etc.

So, are the Hulk and Bruce at an understanding with one another here? I would imagine the Hulk doesn't like what Bruce is doing to him, and this will backfire massively. It's bizzare to me too, because this is following up what the one above/below all revealed to the Hulk. Unless the Hulk just came to accepting what he is, and this is why he allows Banner to do this. 5:39 Ok, Hulk using another Hulk as a bat is hilarious and awesome. 7:15 Well, I got my answer lol 9:46 Oh, THEY ARE at an understanding together! This is so cool! I'm fully invested in this run! The story is fun, it's cool, and I love seeing Banner's multiple personality disorder be it's own collection of characters with their own goals like this! I hope the other Hulks band together and use the new god ball to hit the Titan Hulk to knock him out.
Also i gotta go with Titan hulk against SMP. Base hulk has always been toe to toe with supes throughout comic history. So smp being the stronger version of supes would match up well against world war hulk or world breaker hulk or heart of the monster hulk who in my opinion is the strongest hulk aside from Titan obviously. If D'Spayre was the one who originally wanted Titan hulk to emerge, why is he helping Doctor strange in attempting to get rid of him? I guess maybe the orb that Doctor strange is using gives him authority over D'Spayre for the time being?
D'Spayre states it seems [Blasphemous] to speak about SOMEONE ELSE'S intent. Something else wants Titan Hulk, and D'Spayre is the catalyst for that. Dragon Ball reached its zenith during the first SSJ Goku vs Frieza. The rest is just redundant "more power than ever." It's the same thing over and over, and the solution to everything is more power.
The only group of fans it appeals to want to run around and gloat about 'my favorite fictional protagonist beats yours' as if a writer pandering to their 'winning' is some accomplishment, but they don't open up their wallets and buy the comics. So I've been rewatching the old 90s Incredible Hulk cartoon and just got to an episode called Mind over Anti-Matter which starts off with Doctor Strange fighting some entity which bares a close resemblance to the Titan Hulk personality who later takes over Bruce Banner's body and turns into a blackish purple colored Hulk. Now I'm wondering if Titan Hulk took elements from this episode
Oh boy, you can clearly see Ryan Ottley art here, this is so great and throws back to his Invincible work :)
Stan Lee made sure the Hulk had no weaknesses or limitations, and I would always appreciate that with the Hulk being my favorite
New title: How much could a hulk hulk if a hulk could hulk as much as a hulk could?
I’ve read all these comics, but I still love it when you explain it.

Hulk be looking a Lil doomsday-ish
Considering all the crazy over powered super heroes, the strangest Hulk ever would be: Regular Hulk.
The OG Beyonder is up to something, and TOAA warned the Defenders about a coming new all powerful being
Something BIG BIG is coming
Maybe its tied with Hickman's upcoming Marvel project GODS?
Its not coming through titan hulk though, I think they are constantly solidifying that THIS hulk is the strongest and that his ability truly is to get INFINITELY stronger
the lost one?
I see it too. Banner was pretty much asleep during the whole immortal hulk run. Now Banner is coming face to face with his own darkness.

I think the "Worldbreaker" term for hulk(s) is starting to get overused and it's starting to lose meaning. I feel like the point of it originally was supposed to be the peak of his power because of the synergy of hulk and banners rage, now it just feels like a standard measurement of power. Honestly reminds me of Omega Level Mutants or even Super Saiyan from DBZ
hulk has no peak.
Those aren't worldbreaker level hulks. Hulk has been able to do that for decades already as savage hulk or when he was going by green scar. Those are just baseline hulks. This guy tends to over exaggerate when it comes to hulk

Hell, even worldbreaker clashing with she hulk was what did it in that series
It's a problem with any op characters in general, who cares about struggle and actual stories anyways.
