Hello friends! My normal editing software decided it didn't want to function on my brand new "at work" editing setup. As a result this is the first video I've edited in Premier Pro, so if there are any editing glitches I apologize! ♥ On the whole though I think the video quality is higher than normal and I've fixed the issue we had in the Canada series with the game buffering as I moved around the map. Hope y'all enjoy!
I haven't played the rest of the game yet, but I suspect I'm about to get murdered any time now. I had to edit around five minutes of me just wondering what on earth was doing on with that Nubia settler though. Still have no idea what happened with that 😂
If the ability was simply “your capital has +10% yields” she would be French vanilla busted; and would be a contender for what one can play by default. But her ability goes to all cities on the same continent, sheeesh. The downside of -10% on dif continents is somewhat RNG but it’s something you can control over
Her balancing factor is likely amenities. She has her civ and leader abilities for (explosive) growth and the Mbanza for housing, but her ability badly kneecaps her ability to pursue luxuries and she lacks an innate amenity boost unlike the Mayans.
Ya know, if you think about it, Kongo'd unique unit is a perfect foil to Nubia's. You could even take the tortoise promotion on them to get 20 combat strength against her archers on defense.
I hadn't tried this leader because of that -15% when not on your original continent. Although I suppose that really only matters if you're conquering the world which I generally do to get the over with. 😆 Looking forward to seeing what you do with her. 😃 Canada is building up a pretty big army, buy I guess they're not super-agressive.
I feel like the new leaders have slightly different preferences for wonders. Maybe it is just anecdotal but I've found it harder to get Kilwa and Petra and easier to get Pyramids.
@@jessedijkstra1220 There have been so many knock off effects of that change. The AI is actually capable of gunning for a Culture Victory now. Not good enough yet to close it out quickly, but enough to kick your butt if you're not careful. (see Victoria in our Canada game)
Yes, the production overflows so the excess just goes to the next thing I build 👌 You can lose the wonder if two people are are one turn, so better to be safe than sorry!
Hey, just a constructive comment so we can see all of the minimap: zoom in on yourself in the camera, and then shrink the size of the picture-in-picture of yourself. You'll effectively be the same size, and we can see more of the game screen, and less of the background. Love your play style! Thanks for uploading!
You’ll notice the camera from the first clip is off the mini map and then for the rest of the video it’s bigger and covers the right hand side. This is just a fault of my using a new editing software and messing up the camera position! It’ll be fixed for the next one. On a side note, the bigger me, smaller camera idea is interesting. I’ll give it a try next time I edit! 😊

They must, because in a recent game I had the Maus go really early and I’ve NEVER seen that before, even with loads of Civs that build harbours
i do believe they also updated the ai to stop focusing so much on science and generally be better, maybe that also affects wonder preferences
