One of the BEST movie's ever made! I pray that we all remember and never let our world get like this. PAY attention to the society you live in and to the rights you still have. Don't given in to control in hopes of safety and comfort. Don't let fear make you give away your rights. 🖤
@@diegosilang4823 Your comment interests me, as I suppose I'm who you're referring to by the 'far-left' in this instance, though, in the UK at least, I would probably be somewhere between centre-left and left. What I find fascinating, is that we both seem to think this line is wise, but disagree on exactly what it means. I believe in democracy and democratic values, but this line, for me, is more of a comment on the ideal political situation, rather than on the issue of the right to bear arms. In the authoritarian dystopia depicted in the film, the people are indeed afraid for their government, which I believe we can agree is not healthy for a society. For me, the second part of this line, "Governments should be afraid of their people", argues that governments should be afraid they will be voted out of power at the next election. I doubt we will agree on the right to bear arms, especially given the fact that the difference in the culture surrounding guns is so drastically different in the UK when compared in North America (which, I'm guessing, based on both your comment and your channel, is where you reside). Perhaps we can take comfort from the fact that despite our seemingly conflicting viewpoints, the debate is over how to best defend democracy, rather than whether we should.
@@diegosilang4823 two things, someone on the far left would be a Anarchist or a Revolutionary Marxist(both don't care about the right to bear arms), and the movie depicts a far-right (fascist) government so ur comment is actually quite ridiculous and founded in an American-centric persepctive, as the only far-left you know are liberals (which are center-right, especially when you look at economic policies)
The first episodes of V for Vendetta originally appeared between 1982 and 1985, in Warrior, a British anthology comic published by Quality Comics. When the publishers cancelled Warrior in 1985 (with two completed issues unpublished due to the cancellation) it was acquired by DC comics. In 1988, DC Comics published a ten-issue series that reprinted the Warrior stories in colour, then continued the series to completion.
This movie prompts us to question the balance between security and personal liberties, the role of government in society, and the power of individuals to effect change. And Hugo Weaving delivers a remarkable performance as V, despite his face being concealed behind the iconic Guy Fawkes mask throughout the film. His portrayal brings depth, charisma, and vulnerability to the character, making him a captivating and enigmatic protagonist. Natalie Portman's portrayal of Evey Hammond is equally noteworthy, as she undergoes a transformative journey from a vulnerable victim to a strong-willed fighter for freedom. Her character's growth and the bond she forms with V provide an emotional core to the story. The film's visual style is striking, with its dark and moody atmosphere effectively conveying the oppressive nature of the setting. The use of imagery, symbolism, and carefully choreographed action sequences further enhance the cinematic experience. Thanks for gifting us this wonderful movie. @ Director: James McTeigue Story by: Alan Moore, David Lloyd Screenplay: James McTeigue, Lana Wachowski, Lilly Wachowski
The Illuminati must confess what they are doing. It's part of their dogma. Hollywood, as well as governments around the world are peppered with the illuminati. Jesus is our only hope.
I hate when they say it's a super hero movie It is better than this description because it is an independent movie away from DC, Marvel and the absurdity of Super Hero
Sometimes I wonder if DC was thinking of somehow having V & TDKT Batman in an else world type crossover & 🎵 from TDKT being in the trailer would've been the 1st hint?
by third party i mean it was created and published by someone else and then dc bought it. so its not really homegrown. its just something they own the rights to.
One of the best movies in the world. I thank my History teacher of the 1st standard for introducing this movie to me here in Brazil, thank you, Veranilson.
Sci fi. They portrait guy fawkes a hero while he did trason and battrayed the country. They made him symbol of ressistant against authoritarian regime while he is historical symbol of high trason to a good regime

Rights? That’s not a real thing. We made it up for comfort. In a world without government your only right is survival against thy “neighbors”
It's at the top of my movie list 🙌⭐👌
My friend, I encourage you to realize that we are heading for a dystopian future much like this one and in many ways we are already there
Today is the 5th of November. It's a tradition to watch this movie every year on this day.
Same bro
Pretty amazing because in our country Serbia. The dictator was thrown from throne on 5th October ! 2000 !!
I try to as well. I haven’t been able to every single year but most of the time. Great tradition. And an important one I might add
I do the same. I thought I was the only one.
Movie saiden is a great work 👌

This movie deserves a reboot as a show on HBO to really flesh out the graphic novel. It’s a masterpiece and more relevant than ever now.
I don’t really think there’ll be someone as outstanding as Hugo Weaving in the role of V. He simply nailed it.
No stop this nonsense, modern movies and shows are full of woke bs with no creativity, a reboot would ruin it's name
@@InternalxHD I mean a show that stayed true to the book

Unbelievable. Because he was also in the Matrix ! : )
It always baffles me that hugo played polar opposite roles as V and red skull
